| ALL enemies prioritise Henry in combat. Posted: 27 Jan 2021 03:39 AM PST Any time I come across a bandit fight they all turn on me instantly as soon as they see me. This one bandit was fighting 4 guards and sprinted to fight me instead. When badits are fighting Cumans both groups attack me too. It definitely feels like something that has been added; I don't remember this happening when I played the game at launch. Is this persistent in all saves and both game modes? I don't have any behaviour-altering mods installed, but does anyone playing vanilla get this too? It ruins the fun of encounters, as I just have to stay on horseback and shoot them, otherwise fight 8v1. (PC, newest version) [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 27 Jan 2021 07:04 AM PST So I remember playing kingdom come for the first time, and when I did the mission where you have to do the achery and sword competition with hans, I lost against Hans capon easily. On my other save I did a lot of side missions and levelled up so when I did the misson again, this time I destroyed hans capon. He was upset lmfao [link] [comments] | ||
| Just beat my first group of Cumans and boy do I feel good Posted: 26 Jan 2021 09:56 PM PST I've been playing for a bit and had gotten past the first part of the Neuhof investigation and made it to Uzhitz. I had learned how to read, spent hours training with Bernard wiped out a bandit camp, won a tournament and gotten into a drunken brawl with a bailiff at the side of a priest. In all my adventuring I had started to feel confident in my sword play. But every once in a while a group of Cumans would jump me in the woods and remind me I'm just a blacksmith's son. For the most part I made my way around these groups after reloading to undo my humiliating defeat. But one day I was out trying to collect nightingales and clear a bandit camp. I took the made road there and while speeding along I was unhorsed by a Cumans and the teaching of humility began. I was left a pile of pulp. However, instead of learning my lesson this time I got quite frustrated. Who were these jerks to push me around and decide what roads I'm allowed to travel on!? I was so tired of being bullied and pushed around by the masked jerkwads who murdered my father! So I enlisted in a tournament, made a bet with my uncle and waited a couple days. I breeze through the tournament and use my winnings to buy the most damaging mace I could afford. Those bastard Cumans were still waiting for me. I got off Pebbles just as I saw the fallen tree in the road. Four of them came charging out, another stayed behind firing arrows. I set Mutt upon the first one I could get my cursor over and started backing away from the rest. The first Cuman swung and my masterstroke brought him down with one thud to the head. The feeling of power and satisfaction that surged through me was something I have not felt from a game ina long time. I was so proud of myself when the battle was over and instead of staring at a game over screen I was staring at a pile of loot. [link] [comments] | ||

I plan to replay it again. Now, seeing and waiting for the mod community to do it's magic, I'm wondering if there is such a 3rd person mod that makes combat look good? I've seen clips of some mods, but none of those are actually usable in combat because you can't see the directions of the attacks. So, is there a solution for this or a mod that actually does that? It's obvious that this game is made for keyboard and mouse. I know this has probably been asked in the past but I can't find any advice that actually helps. If you have a console how did you figure it out? I've been told once you get it that it becomes so much easier. I can't even do certain quests because I have to pick a lock. It's so frustrating. I've never once been able to pick even an "easy" lock. I just break all my picks and am left feeling defeated. Help me. [link] [comments] | ||

In total I've gotten 2 ppl that have accused me of poaching, 2 groups of bandits and that's about it. The game feels incredibly empty, as I can travel from one side of the map to the other without any worry. I've started a new play through to check for more but I really don't know what the problem is. Has anyone else had this issue? [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 26 Jan 2021 07:47 PM PST Not all towns have a bathhouse (including Pribyslavitz for some reason) but there usually is a blacksmith that can repair gear, and repairing gear cleans it, so I wouldn't mind paying fractions of a coin to have a smith clean my stuff so I don't have to trudge half way across the map just to wash my clothes. But you can only get your gear repaired if it has been damaged. You can damage maces for cleaning by bonking the nearest wall once. Is there anything like that you can do for armor?
