Cant beat mission run after prologue Posted: 27 Jul 2020 09:20 AM PDT I've been at it for an hour but the guy is literally right behind me at all times and when i get to threasea (However you spell it) he manages to hit me then all of them gang up on me im not exactly sure how to ride a horse because i dont get a prompt like everyone else does so im completely clueless on how to even ride a horse if i even manage to get there. I want to play this game so bad but this is literally the only thing stopping me. Btw im on xbox one [link] [comments]
I'm so fuckin proud of myself right now Posted: 26 Jul 2020 05:15 PM PDT Everyone told me to cheese the Runt boss fight with a bow, or grind before that quest. I ignored them and went in Level 8, with a garbage-ass Mercenary's Bedfellow sword that does 35 damage, only 7 body armor and a bassinet, and all around shit tier stats. It must have took me like 40 tries, but I fucking did it. I beat Runt in honorable combat, while playing as a shit tier peasant. I won by blocking almost every strike and maintaining distance, then feinting to catch him off guard. That was like a Dark Souls level boss fight considering how weak my Henry is. Jesus Christ be praised. [link] [comments]
I singlehandedly took care of all the bad guys in Nest of Vipers in a different way. Posted: 26 Jul 2020 08:07 PM PDT I cleared Nest of Vipers in the most dumb way. You might be wondering how? You might think I just did a big battle and killed them all, assassinated them in their sleep or just shot them to death right? No. I did a mixture of all three. I applied the sleeping potion onto my arrows and made them all go to sleep and proceeded to smash their brains in with a bludgeon. Fun stuff. Btw, this is my first playthrough. [link] [comments]

I wish there was a farming dlc Posted: 27 Jul 2020 04:19 AM PDT It would be great to live one full year as a farmer, whether with henry or without, using all of the period tools, taking care of livestock, farming, paying taxes. There REALLY aren't any good farming simulators, even set in the modern world. This could be a great twist. Maybe it would really sit well in the kc:d story, but you could add the cuman invasion part and bam! A new dlc with a twist! I'm pretty sure that this is never going to be done, but well, dream it is. [link] [comments]
[Some tips for those new to the turbulent land of Bohemia!] Posted: 26 Jul 2020 11:16 PM PDT I would like to start this by saying that even though I've played since 2018 that I by no means am an expert at this game and my methods may not even translate to some of your builds. General: -Balance your skills. You will suffer for it if you don't. (Source: My First Playthrough.) -Don't be afraid to make mistakes early on. Henry sure isn't. -The Maintenance Skill is there for a reason. Use it to save time and money via treks to Rattay or Sassau for the Armorers and Sword smiths. -Alchemy is your friend. Getting high as a kite on potions and flailing a mace at some Cuman while screaming for him to deliver unto you his ear is an entirely valid tactic. Combat: -Train/Spar with Captain Bernard. I can not stress this enough. If you learn combat solely through experience, you will find it exceptionally tiring and irritating. - All arrows are good arrows. Keep several on you at any time even if they're just hunting arrows. Aim for weak points such as exposed faces or unarmored/barely armored legs. -Don't rely on chains or master strikes. You're looking to do damage, not show off. Bernard's word is not necessarily law. -Keep a multi purpose arsenal. I.e. a Sword and a Mace/Axe -CLINCH. STRIKE. CLINCH. STRIKE. CLINCH. STRIKE. -BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE! KHORNE BE PRAISED! (No Mercy) Money/The Economy: -Bounty Hunting; There are at least three (3) (Ruin, Raiders, Interlopers, ...?) of these quest/activity lines with at least four camps in which you kill the leader and his lackeys and take their ears and spurs (and in the Cumans' case; Faceplates) for a commission though what happens once they've all met their maker leads into my next talking point. -The spoils of war are plenty and they are yours for the taking. Loot dead enemies of their armor, weapons, and other possessions and sell them to make a pretty penny. -Poaching is tiring and repetitive and I honestly wouldn't recommend it but it is there and you can do it. Treasure Hunting: -One of the best swords in the game and a free set of plate armor is yours for the taking in an unlocked chest in the area that you and Hans Capon rest at after the meeting with the Margrave after the Siege of Talmberg towards the end of the game before beginning his DLC. Glitches/Exploits: -Exploit the Terrain. Bushes, Fallen Trees, Rivers, etc are all something enemies have to maneuver around and occasionally get stuck because they aren't programmed to climb over them. Do with this as you see fit. -Exploit Dialogue Loops that include passing speech and charisma checks for that silver tongue you so desperately desire. [link] [comments]
Posted: 27 Jul 2020 12:03 AM PDT As the title states, I'm just wondering what the best time to start each DLC would be. (Spoiler) I just finished up the investigations in sasau and turned in the counterfeiter and have been told to take a rest before I see sir Radzig. I'm wondering if right now is a good opportunity to visit any of it. [link] [comments]

Posted: 26 Jul 2020 08:01 PM PDT I accidentally got to the building part of From the Ashes DLC after just finishing the siege at Pribyslavitz. Now the village is literally tearing through my Groschen and I can't keep relying on genociding Cumans forever. I'm barely scraping enough Groschen and Jesus, taking 390 of my Groschen every day is such a pain. Please help my reputation and my wallet is at stake here. [link] [comments]
Posted: 27 Jul 2020 06:53 AM PDT So i did not join the first tourney and now it says quest failed does this void the completionist achiefment or is there no worry if i dont join it ? [link] [comments]

How to keep loot from Skalitz in prologue Posted: 27 Jul 2020 01:36 AM PDT So I'm looting the hell out of Skalitz - knocked out a few guards and looted them, picking herbs and killing sheep and selling the goods to vendors, will start sneaking around and picking locks and stealing whatever isn't bolted down plus buying whatever I can find as far as armor and weapons and repair kits. What's the best, current way to keep all of this? I imagine cash and whatever I have on my person I will just have, or do I lose this when I get captured? I read that I should store stuff in the chest in my parents house, and then when I come back to bury them I just grab it all, overburden myself, and then walk the 10 yards to bury them, and when I wake up next I will have all that accumulated gear? Anyways any advice on moving forward past the prologue and keeping all of my stuff would be really appreciated, most of what I can find online was written 2 years ago and has long been patched - so I won't be punching unconscious bodies to level up stats, but I should hopefully get to keep gear and money. Finally finished my first play through! Jesus Christ be praised! Posted: 26 Jul 2020 10:58 AM PDT I'm sure it's been said a thousand times, but no RPG had made me feel like I took my character from zero to hero like Kingdom Come has. From running for my life from the Cumans at Skalitz, to struggling to overcome the 3 bastards that captured my rival and later great friend Hans, to walking into an entire encampment of bandits and cumans with a smirk on my face knowing they have no idea who they're dealing with. I felt like Henry and I had earned our abilities from literal hours of training and exploring. Not to mention some of the most diverse and creative side quests I've ever seen, and characters I at first didn't think I'd be so invested in becoming people I was afraid to lose. What a story. What a game. Well done, Warhorse. Well done. [link] [comments]
