    Just "met" Black Peter...

    Posted: 17 Feb 2020 10:34 AM PST

I've won him, but he got me good. Too good I'd say. I've saved just after beating him, but I only had half hp. So, I've tried to run to apothecary in Rattay to cure poison, but died the moment I've opened his door. So, I've reloaded and ran again, trying my best, but this time I had this old hag lady on the stairs of apothecary blocking my way, so I've died again. I've tried few more times, until I've got literally perfect timing, drinking moonshine from my horse' inventory to get 5hp and a buy a second or two to make it to apothecary to buy and drink cure. And, finally, yes, I've survived with 1hp!

Gosh, I've never had such thrill in games...

Early Game Henry can be a naked murder machine.

    Posted: 17 Feb 2020 07:39 AM PST

Decided to play through again since I haven't touched the game since I finished the story a couple years ago.

Last time my strategy was exploit the super loot crate early game and then just murder everyone with OP swords and armor early game.

Since they fixed it I've been forced into taking a different approach to bandit camp quests.

Now I just sneak up naked in the middle of the night and murder everyone in their sleep. I don't even need a sword, Henry just curb stomps everyone to death. I was honestly surprised that it worked so well and that I had never tried it before.

    Whats the point of combos?

    Posted: 17 Feb 2020 07:52 AM PST

    Hi,

I unlocked all the longswords combos in the Sword skilltree but I absolutly dont get how to use them.

They show diffrent directions but its nearly impossible to apply them in real combat because either your opponent will step back so you miss or they will counter one of your attacks so whats the point? What happens when you manage to pull of a combo? Im lvl18 and I think I never pulled one of.

Runt invincible and swinging a giant club like it's a big wiffle bat? Trap him against this rubble, and use him as an Archery training dummy. Bonus arrows to those that kill the Cumans on horseback. If you use a menu, he'll phase through it in GMod TPose and try to assert dominance with god mode.

New to the game , it's free on Epic Games right now.

    Posted: 17 Feb 2020 11:17 AM PST

Hi all, new here and to the game since it's free on Epic Games.

Mind if I ask what are must have mods for the game? This game looks amazing and i like that it doesn't have any magic.

Thanks for any advice on how to get started.

    The Monastery Bit

    Posted: 17 Feb 2020 10:50 AM PST

So I'm running my first playthrough of the game (think the game is brilliant) and I've done most of the side quests so I finally advance the main story up to finding Pious.

Man is it just me or is this part of the game just insanely tedious? I'm all for the historical accuracy and realism but man how am I standing at mass for 4 hours a day?

    Edit: flair, spoiler tag

Question on stealth knockouts/stealing and it’s effects.

    Posted: 17 Feb 2020 10:44 AM PST

I've noticed that after knocking people out and taking their goods, all the shops charge higher than before. My reputation is unchanged, and my reputation with the trader; however, they ask for significantly more money than before? Does this revert after a time? What is the cause of this? I've never been caught before.

Are there mods that let you build everything in Pribyslavitz?

    Posted: 16 Feb 2020 09:25 PM PST

It is immersion-breaking for me that you can't have a bakery and a butcher, a swordsmith and an armorer, a stables and a guardhouse... Like... why?

I mean, yes I understand that they were looking for "balance" and to force players to make interesting choices. But these choices aren't interesting, they're stupid and there's no reason why we should have to make them. \whynotboth.jpg**

For a game so focused on realism; arbitrary, 'game-ish', nonsensical limitations like this, with no in-world rationalization are extra disappointing.

If there is no mod that fixes this, do the tools make it possible?
