When you never take off your armor in KCD

    Runt Boss

Im about to delete the game thanks to the runt boss battle. Hit em with 6 better piercing arrows and a slash still does one combo and destroys me. This game is ridiculous

Thick as Thieves Lady Stephanie [Spoiler]

    Posted: 23 Dec 2019 07:23 AM PST

Is there any way to steal the jewelry from Lady Stephanie without a lockpick? Are there any keys anywhere? I hate lockpicking in this game and none of the guides I've tried have helped me get better. I'd rather just pickpocket someone (I've gotten decent at that) and steal a key, unlock it and done. Any suggestions? Or am I stuck on that mission till I get great at lock picking? I can't level up enough to get the Luck of The Drunk perk.

    Possible Goof?

    Posted: 23 Dec 2019 05:05 AM PST

During the talk to Stephanie at the beginning of the game, the speech option for 'saved Theresa' he mentions fighting off 'the Cumans' now am I correct in saying, this is before he or anyone else knew they were Cuman? Up until this point they haven't been identified as such. Correct me if I'm wrong

Why are the guards at burned out Skalitz always hostile?

    Posted: 22 Dec 2019 03:38 PM PST

Whenever you return to Skalitz after you get to Rattay there are always Talmberg guards (they wear the uniform and you can surrender to them and go to jail) fighting either bandits or Cumans. However, the Talmberg guards are always hostile to Henry! This doesn't seem like a bug, but I don't understand it. It's it because they assume you're a looter? But Skalitz isn't marked as "trespassing" or anything and you cannot talk the guards down, even when you're doing the Scavenger quest. Is this an oversight?

    Early Strats?

    Posted: 22 Dec 2019 08:03 PM PST

Are there any strats that your Henry does whenever he starts a new game? Rush for a certain loot spot, go here to find early groschen, here for a early sword, here to rapid train stats? I've been having trouble with getting some any meaningful groschen or weapons and armor, I've just been using a set I stole off a city guard and a thumper I swiped from Rattay. My stats are pretty awful as well.

    Dogs are OP

    Posted: 22 Dec 2019 08:41 PM PST

You know when you want to raid that bandit camp? You know, with the two dogs? Those two gods that you cant target? The dogs that repeatedly jump after you and bite you while you get gangbanged by 4 cumins? The same cumins that stun lock you over and over until dog #2 grabs you? The same dog that growled one time at your max courage horse to make it throw you off and run?

    Fuck those dogs.

    Choking people

    Posted: 23 Dec 2019 01:38 AM PST

Having kind of inapropriate title out of the way, I would like to ask some questions about choking people in KCD. Repercussions for this seem extremally inconsistent. This is my first playthrough after a long break and last time I was playing a noble character. Now I want to be the scum of the earth and it feels very strange. I'll give you an example:
As early as in Talmberk i found that I could sneak behind lonely peasants and train my sneak skill easily. I did it for few ingame hours having few of them down and up almost a dozen times. Hid all the loot in a chest. Absolutelly no repercussions. Then, when i decided my skill was high enough i took down few guards to get decent early loot, and armor for dusguise to get out. Again. No repercussions. Guards were still patrolling the walls when i was leaving the castle. Just bare to their pants and with freshly respawned sword (small info for you exploiters: swords on guards respawn indefinitely). But as soon as I left the castle. Bang. I wanted in Talmberk for theft. And my reputation among common folk is down by 20. Guards still like me. But apparently the peasants put the 2 and 2 together after almost a day of being passed out and wanted a piece of me. How come? How did anybody knew it was me?
    Another example:
First quest for Peshko. I was out of saviour shnaps already and didn't feel like redoing the jog up the executioner's house too many times, so I took the easy way, and just choked him out. He didn't even know I was around (apart of dogs barking). No repercussions. Untill. almost a day later! I have bounty on my head for theft again. And my reputation with People of outer Rattay is down by 20.

My question is: Is there any method to this madness? Is there a way to get away with choking people without any bad repercussions? Or is it purpousfully made in a way that they always find out after a while because without it pickpocketing and most of lockpicking seems a bit obsolete (you can just choke people and take key of their bodies). In short: is it a bug, a nerf, or am I missing something?

    A Woman's Lot

    Posted: 22 Dec 2019 07:20 PM PST

    Hey guys,

been interested in this game for a long time and a few days ago decided to finally buy it as it was on sale. Haven't started it yet because I'm finishing a couple other games and I know this game gonna get my full attention. Wanted to get the DLCs too, but decided to get some other games and now I've 5$ left and was wondering if those should be spent on one of the DLC. A Woman's Lot is about 5 bucks and from what I've read is the most content full of the bunch, so should I get it? Or should I just play the base game for now, see how it goes and get the DLCs on some other sale in the future?

    Unlimited saves on nexus mods?

    Posted: 22 Dec 2019 09:25 PM PST

So I very much hate the save system, and after buying the game ~30 minutes ago I went to DL the unlimited saves mod from nexus, however Nexus requires you to be logged in to download files and logging in got turned off (apparently), so I can't get the mod. How do I get unlimited saves w/o the nexus mod? Thanks

TO BE CLEAR: Nexus isn't allowing any more registrations or log ins, according to what I read.

    Best looking armor

    Posted: 22 Dec 2019 10:33 AM PST

As I'm playing through the story I've come into a sizable amount of gold. And really feel like my Henry is becoming a knight, I'm trying to find some great looking armor, but can't find anything I really like. Any suggestions? I'm trying to use sir radzigs armor as a guide almost, but can't find anything close to his
