Have the nuances to getting Full House Sinner been ironed out yet at this point?

    Posted: 04 Nov 2019 07:39 AM PST

So I played KCD a while back (around when Hans Capon DLC came out), getting all the available achievements at the time. With Woman's Lot and Band of Bastards on sale, I picked them up and have come back to Bohemia to experience the content I missed and clean up the remaining achievements.

However, I am running into problems with Full House Sinner and looking at other comments over the months, saw others had too. However, there was nothing really definitive in reading peoples' experiences. Just out of the gate starting the quest Johanka didn't mention my drunkenness or sleeping with Lady Stepahnie but everything else. Now I know it was moons ago when I last did this, but I will I would swear on a stack of Bibles to our Lord Jesus Christ that I took off my shirt back then, and I know for dunkenness, I drank in Uzhitz and during the Band of Bastards side quest and have passed out plenty of times from drinking Leshen Water. Now, I was planning tonight to try and become a full blown alcoholic to see if that would trigger the drinking comment from Johanka, but my main concern if the lack of Lady Stephanie comment since that was a one time thing.

Does anyone at this point have any experiences they can share how I can get Johanka to mention her, or any steps I may be missing that I need to do? I've got my old hardcore save still and I spent last night trucking around Bohemia trying to get that playthrough to a point that I can sleep with Lady Stephanie in case this is some known bug, but I'd rather not have to use this playthrough if i have to since hardcore is such a pain without fast travel and lack of all of my maxed skills.

Thanks in advance for any ideas or suggestions!

    Game Feels Sluggish ?

    Posted: 04 Nov 2019 01:24 AM PST

    Hi everyone,

Had the game for months but only started playing last night. Adjusted graphic settings mostly to medium and getting around 60-80fps.

Thing is, the game still doesn't feel smooth ... Moving the camera, performing actions ... eveything feels kinda delayed and wavy, like the whole game suffers from input lag.

    Is this normal ? :/

    Torunament weird attacks

    Posted: 04 Nov 2019 08:07 AM PST

Im kinda new to kingdom come, even tho i got like 25 hours i still got the game no more then 4 days ago. I really like it, probably the best rpg for me but there's a few things that i really hate, and thats one of them.

When i join the rattay tournament, the first fight goes relatively easy, most of the time i dont even take damage when i fight with my favorite weapon (long sword).
Next fight is where it gets interesting, becsuse when fighting with long swords my enemy can just block my attack and immediately stab me in the stomach, without literally giving me a block chance. I tried using the q to block whenever it happens, but it does nothing. Same with shorter weapons, when i attack he can just kinda roll to my back dealing a small bit of damage in the meantime. Even tho it doesnt do much on its own, when my enemy does it like 4 or 5 times in the fight it can take like 1/3 of my health, if not more. And my question is: Is it possible to even block them? And if not, is there a way to stop enemies from using them? I can try to provide a video of it, if someone wants to see what im talking about.

    Quest markers are gone

    Posted: 04 Nov 2019 09:13 AM PST

I wanted to do a sidequest, but after i accepted it i didnt get a quest marker. I didnt turn off quest markers in the settings, and its not a quest that doesnt have them because i tried doing another one and it was the same. I tried to reset the game, but they are gone anyways. I also tried to turn them off and on again, but it did nothing. Please help me, because i spent like 30 hours in that save and i dont feel like redoing the whole game because of that.

Edit: Oh, and also, i have quest markers from earlier side quests i didnt finish. I tried loading an earlier save, but it didnt work anyways. I have some earlier auto saves, but the earlier one is like 5-10 hours behind, because i was trying to do 100% of goals.

Unsubstantiated theory: Henry is a Type 1 Diabetic

    Posted: 04 Nov 2019 12:04 AM PST

I usually only eat once a day and I get by just fine, and while I don't go around fighting guys with swords I would probably put in a comparable amount of KMs per day.

Henry on the other hand will scoff down 3 bread rolls and a couple apples only to have his stomach rumbling with hunger again a couple minutes later.

I realise that this exaggeration is typical of survival games, but this game tries to act like it's realistic in many other instances. What do you guys think? Exaggerated mechanic or deliberate hidden lore? Other NPCs certainly don't eat as often.

    Debuffs on hardcore

    Posted: 04 Nov 2019 02:10 AM PST

New to the game and decided to make my first playthrough a hardcore one.

I'm a few hours in and really enjoying it, I can't help but feel that maybe I chose bad debuffs.

I chose the fall damage one, and waking up with nightmares. Are those okay?

Otherwise which ones would you recommend for a first timer?

Kingdom come deliverance is in discount right know on ps4 should I buy?

Just finished bthe game today (spoilers)

    Posted: 03 Nov 2019 01:56 PM PST

I got this in a sale and had was glued to the screen for a few weeks. Then I got to the monastery, and stopped for a bit. After a while I got back to it. I rushed through the monastery lol the monks kept accusing me of violence even though I didn't do anything!

I was quite op, I had lvl 20 mace, the best equipment and if I drank some potions I could take on a small army. So I did. I swear the final battle I did 90% of the work.

I give this a solid 8/10. It lacks in polish, even after I assume a few patches. It has a janky feel to it, but you can't deny this game has soul.

I wish there was more choice and consequences, but that probably wasn't what the developers were intending. I just wish the world we react to who you role played as. I did a bunch of side quests and did the bandit camp quest to completion.

If a guy single handily destroys bandit and cuman camps, shouldn't he get some recognition?

Overall it was a great game! I can't wait for the sequel!

    Is Ulrich hard-coded to die?

    Posted: 04 Nov 2019 12:01 AM PST

Midgame spoiler ahead : When I confronted Lord Jezhek, making his fake money, Ulrich tried to kill him. I manage to talk him out of it and he said he'll hit the road and see what happens. He leaves but 2sec later he falls dead on the ground. Someone had the same issue?

Will there ever be a novel for this game?

    Posted: 03 Nov 2019 10:52 AM PST

As good as this game already is, The developers can really push kingdom come deliverance to another level by releasing a official novel with more depth, story, lore and character development in it. As for the book, I very much like to see the story from the perspective of a different character around the same period of time of Henry's story with some mentioning of in game events and characters. It would be a huge money making opportunity for them.

Is stealth worth it in this game?

    Posted: 03 Nov 2019 03:37 PM PST

Im a newbie, who finds stealth possibly appealing but is it worth it (actually useful) in this game as a primary kinda "fighting" style?

    Random rant

    Posted: 03 Nov 2019 10:56 AM PST

Not sure if I'm allowed to post a nee thread for this but here's one of my issues that I feel like really should of been fixed. Okay the locking camera mechanic sucks, I think most of us can agree on that and how we are forced to use this mechanic, I have died so many times to the fact that Henry refuses to look at any other guy then the one I'm locked on no matter how much I try and move the camera. But the real reason for this rant is how you can get the enemy action where they attacked you from behind WHILE you're facing them. This has happened to me so much. Like how is a guy im looking at able to turn me around, throw me around then proceed to do a 5 hit combo through my shield. It's really annoying. Well rant over. Still love the game but the camera is beyond busted. I get for realism kr whatever but it's just not realist. If I in real life was getting attacked by a group, I'd run, not STARE at the guy beating my ass while everyone else takes turns pissing on me from behind.

    Heat Mod

    Posted: 03 Nov 2019 04:57 PM PST

As we all know wearing heavy armor in the summertime is exhausting. Please, someone confirm they are working on a heat mod for this game. The one thing truly missing from this game is a temperature dynamic like in ARK.

Best method to level up lockpicking fast?

    Posted: 03 Nov 2019 07:09 PM PST

I really need to be able to unlock very hard chests. I lockpick literally everything I find that's pickable, I've received all the training I can get right now and read the first skill book. I'm still at level 7.

Leveling your lockpicking skill takes so damn long, I got my pickpocketing to like 9 accidentally within 30 minutes, but for the 30 or so hours I've been in my current game my lockpicking is at 7.

I've seen YouTube videos of people lockpicking a door, waking up the people inside, and walking out, but it never works for me. They follow me to the ends of the damn earth before they go back.

I can only lockpick hard chests, which yield bull and shit. I'm willing to install a 1000x lockpicking skill xp mod at this point. I'm open to a little cheating or just a decent method. I grinded alchemy to 17, lockpicking shouldn't be this slow and horrible. Any advice at all is very appreciated
