Posted: 17 May 2021 06:55 AM PDT What will be the outcome if you help the Waldensians escape by warning them? Will it effect the Johanka mission later? I really just want the good ending for the Johanka mission. Shall I let them go or shall I have the Vicar get to them? [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 May 2021 04:06 PM PDT It's probably the most realistic and enchanting representation of medieval Europe in any form of media in my opinion. Wandering this world is a spellbinding experience. The building architecture, art design, music and realism of the countryside is genuinely stunning. I find it incredibly frustrating at times but what it does right, it does so well I can't stop thinking about this game. Galloping through the old towns, fields and forests feels like time travelling to a place long forgotten by modern society, so lovingly and masterfully crafted it evokes a real sense of truly "being there". I hated the combat in the beginning, but after sparring with Bernard for 5 hours and wiping out a few Cuman camps single handedly I feel I am ready to exact my revenge on the servile scum who slaughtered everything I ever cared about. I can't wait for the adventures to come. What a beautiful game. [link] [comments]

Obviously it doesnt stop time and lets you retry, but are there known outcomes of the missing that happens in this game? Would really like to know! KCD-Alchemy-Captain? [link] [comments]
Pitch black shadows/lighting issues Posted: 17 May 2021 09:44 AM PDT Just recently started playing this game and I'm having a lot of fun. However I've noticed I have some lighting issues especially indoors. Turning shadows off seems to fix the issue but playing without shadows is a big hit to the asthethics of the game so I've been trying to look for a solution. I've googled around to try and find a solution but it seems like very few have experienced similair issues. Maybe someone on this subreddit has had similiar issues and know a solution? PC, Steam, latest version. P.S. I've tried completely disabling mods and mod related files but to no avail. [link] [comments]
Crime and Punishment (codex entry) Posted: 17 May 2021 05:59 AM PDT Does anyone know how to unlock this codex entry? I'm searching for it everywhere but I can't find an answer. [link] [comments]

Wouldnt a KCD game set in Gladiatorial times of Ancient Rome be cool? Posted: 16 May 2021 10:57 AM PDT Henry is too badass by the end of the first game . He can't be the protagonist again unless he suffers brain trauma and has to relearn all of his skills . Make the sequel take place somewhere else. Ancient Rome . Play as a young man who wants to pay off his uncles debt so he signs up to be a gladiator . Train and compete as the main meat and potato's of the game . Win fights to gain money and reputation , acquire armor skids and weapons. Compete in different gladiatorial game's such as team fights , free for all's , Naval reenactments, fighting beasts (side quests to go and capture exotic beasts and sell them ) and fight legendary gladiators . Become infamous or a hero . Protagonist lives in a densely detailed Rome and can have relationships and interactions with other npcs doing side quests and learning other skills . Uncover corruption in the church , discover and decipher ancient mysteries ect . Watching and betting on matchups could be a fun gambling element. The games elements would translate well, itd just be slightly more combat focused as the arena would be the center of the game. Youd think a gladiator sim would be an over saturated market but it isnt, theres like no good games with that theme that I know of. Id love Warhorse to spearhead something like that. My experience in the game so far Posted: 16 May 2021 02:42 PM PDT A few hours into Skyrim: I killed a horde of monsters, defeated the dragon, I am the chosen one, FEAR ME! A few hours in KCD: So this hangman whopped my ass (because I was trying to steal a stupid ring that was worthless in the first place) while I was trying to run away like the dirty ass peasant that I am. Edit: also my dog hates me because I gave him bad food. :D [link] [comments]
Requesting solace after a royal beating... Posted: 16 May 2021 09:49 PM PDT I've beaten the game on easy mode (maxed skills, ultra wealthy, best equipment, etc.) and I decided to start a new save on hardcore using everything I learned from my first play through. One thing I knew was coming was a confrontation with Kunesh in which I was guaranteed to lose with just fisticuffs. I thought to myself "no way I can lose if I bring a sword to a fist fight!" So I went around Skalitz picking flowers and selling them to save up for the butcher's blade at the local trader. I took my weapon and requested the money from Kunesh. Alas, I was still in over my head! He sucker punched me before I could pull out my sword and dodged almost all my swings. Henry was left beaten and had to be patched up by his mother. I now have a hatred of Kunesh which can only be cleansed by his murder once I find him in Rattay. I will eviscerate him! [link] [comments]
Posted: 17 May 2021 06:19 AM PDT Does anyone know how to unlock this codex entry? I've tried drinking the Drinking Water, but that doesn't unlock it. [link] [comments]
Missions where you might lose the inventory items Posted: 17 May 2021 01:44 AM PDT Hello everyone I am currently at the mission "Poverty, Chastity and Obedience" I have read that during the mission "A Needle in a Haystack" and "The Die is Cast" you might lose your inventory items if not careful I just want to know are there any other missions where you might lose the inventory items so that I plan ahead and avoid repeating the missions "God be With you" [link] [comments]

Posted: 16 May 2021 05:43 PM PDT Gday everyone. I'm always getting the crap belt outta me when fighting these guards at this mining camp. So I decided to take another route and poison their stew. I have waited 3 days and nothing has happened to them they're still chatting and having a great old time mining. Am I missing something? [link] [comments]

Any way around this terrible save system? Posted: 16 May 2021 12:04 PM PDT Just lost 2-3 hours of progress doing the ancient treasure maps because I decided to fast travel and got attacked 1v4 which not sure if I just suck but seems impossible to win and every time I tried to get on my horse it just kicked me off, I don't care how much effort it will take but please tell me there is some way to just be able to save like any other normal game.
