    I miss this game

    Posted: 10 Feb 2021 11:04 AM PST

Every open world game and rpg I have played since KCD isn't as immersive, combat not as engaging, rpg mechanics not as deep. KCD 2 needs to be announced, idk how much more I can take from being disappointed with games that don't match the bar that KCD has set.

A couple of questions from an inexperienced country boy

    Posted: 10 Feb 2021 03:20 AM PST

    Good morning everyone;

This is my first post in this sub reddit and as you may have guessed, my trip to bohemia started a few days ago.

Let me say that I'm really enjoying the game and I'm really surprised by the boldness of the developers in trying to get out of the classic schemes and propose innovative game mechanics.

I have some questions to ask:

I started working with the miller Peshek and Woyzeck, I really like the robbery missions because there is an initial preparation and there is a lot of adrenaline; while I was doing missions I developed skills in: stealth, lockpicking and pickpocket; despite some initial problems I soon reached level 15 in these skills and now I can practice them perfectly; The question is, when I level up in a skill, do I automatically become better at it, or is it only the perk that I get that makes a difference? My feeling is that as I level up, I improve regardless of the perk that I put in.

Another question: I realized that I am not at all good at using the sword and shield, I'm sorry because I appreciate the combat system in this game, but every time I engage in a duel I can not score a blow, my opponent dodges all my attacks and the duel goes on for a long time, until I run out of stamina and I'm hit, I hope that training with Bernard I can increase my skills in: Parry and sword skills, as happened with the skills of lockpicking and pickpocket I hope to see an improvement and that I can hit my opponent, otherwise I will never be able to make a duel with an enemy.

Thank you for reading this post and for any suggestion responses.

What’s the best way to catch up on the story?

    Posted: 10 Feb 2021 09:30 AM PST

I was really into this game for around a week a month or two ago, but I'll be honest, I don't think I remember much of what was going on. Before I try to play it again, what's the best way to catch up on the story and mission events? I'm guessing there's some sort of log that tells me everything I've done, and if there is, is that all I should need to remember where I was?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, whenever I take breaks longer than a week from something, I end up completely forgetting it all.

    Family DLC

    Posted: 09 Feb 2021 09:00 PM PST

Would anyone else love to see a DLC where you can actually marry Theresa? Hear me out, a dlc where you could buy a cottage (like the ones you see out and about) that maybe you could plant some plants (kinda like how they did it in the Skyrim Hearthfire DLC, really simple doesn't need to be complicated), have chickens, have a stable where you could own more than 1 horse, and move Theresa in. You could actually get married and go on a quest for Peshek's blessing. They could add more types of dogs to adopt (and make use of the houndmaster perks without having to buy the "woman's lot" DLC) that could roam around your home and you could choose to bring 1 or 2 to follow you. Maybe bandits would randomly attack your home (give the dogs some good use and would make it a bit more exciting). There could be quests for getting the land deeds, getting chickens, a stable, convincing Theresa to move with you, ect. Add the ability to have children! They'd gradually grow up to adults and you can send them off (they will just despawn and maybe will randomly visit or send letters) or have them stay and help at the farm! Basically take the Skyrim DLC and put it in kingdom come! I think it'd be really fun and add another element of role playing to the game. Idk maybe it's just me but I'd die for a DLC like this!

Sorry for bad spelling, grammar, ect. I'm tired.

Can't kill the Cumans after finding Hans Capon

    Posted: 10 Feb 2021 10:47 AM PST

So frustrated with this game as I really like it so far but I literally cannot kill the Cumans when rescuing Hans, my character is weak as fuck and I have no good weapons because by the very nature of when this quest takes place I'm early in the game. I can't fight them because they fuck me up, I can't stealth because they see me anyway, I can't outrun them because they run at the speed of light. Please someone give me a way out, all I want to do is follow the story

How can I finish seemingly impossible fights?

    Posted: 10 Feb 2021 10:13 AM PST

I just found Reeky, a witness to a raid, hiding in a cave. We're talking, then bam, three bandits who are supposedly "runts men" show up in a cutscene. I am abysmal at combat, so I stand no chance. I've tried around three times, and the most that's happened so far is me looking at some dancing skeletons. How can I finish this fight if it is nearly impossible?

Radzig is still a piece of Shite IMO

    Posted: 10 Feb 2021 06:32 AM PST

If Toth didn't tell us that Radzig was his Father. Was that Kobyla prick ever gonna tell Henry the truth?

The man was completely comfortable to send Henry on dangerous solo missions but was too scared to tell us he was our father??

Ffs Henry legitimately could have died every time he got sent on a mission. He would've died not knowing a thing and that prick would've taken that to the grave.

Him using Kuno in the DLC without paying him a single groschen is also kind of messed up.

The Hussite Trilogy by Andrzej Sapkowski, author of The Witcher could be an amazing blueprint for KCD2. Check it out!

What do you do with infinite waiter enemies that perfect counter every strike?

    Posted: 10 Feb 2021 12:55 AM PST

You know the one, that last enemy of a camp who always never attacks, so I can't master strike, and any strike or feint I use it master striked every time.

I love this game but man sometimes they system isn't balanced for the level its supposed to be
