Quick question about mods, Nexus Mods (Vortex) and the Epic version of KC:D.

    Posted: 05 Mar 2020 05:57 AM PST

Guys, Vortex recognized the game correctly in my Epic Games folder, which in my machine is:

    G:\EPIC GAMES\Kingdomcomedeliverance

I've created a MODS folder within the above folder.

Vortex launches the game OK, but it won't install the mods. I tried to install 2 Mods and the folder is empty.

    What should I do?

    Thank you in advance.

    Console Commands

    Posted: 05 Mar 2020 07:59 AM PST

Is there somewhere a list of all console commands and a description of what they do? I found some very old articles with incomplete lists and some reddit posts with user.cfg configurations but no explanation what the commands do, or what inputs are valid. And before trying to do a list and scratch everything together myself I just wanted to ask if it already exists?

    Theorizing/talking about KC:D II

    Posted: 04 Mar 2020 10:08 PM PST

This post is about discussing the potential sequel to Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and what to guess as to what might happen in the story, and the improvements in mechanics. I want to note that I don't know much about game design nor do I claim to know what Warhorse has in mind for a sequel, and this is just for fun.

STORY: Following up from where we left off, riding off to Prague with the intention of delivering the letter with Ser Hans, the story could tackle with the subject of what it means to be a Bastard of nobility/lordship.

We could follow Henry in this new world of nobles and have the choice to help develop Henry into the most unlikely example of honourable nobles, the corrupt dreadful whoring beast, or somthing else entirely (e.g. Worldly Scholar, Charitable Christian, or again something else)

With a bit more branching storylines and pathways and multiple outcomes and results in which could permanently change the world for better or worse.

Let's say near the middle or start of the game, Henry is given a Castle/Guardpost/Villiage and is told that it his base of operations (much like Pribyslavitz in: From The Ashes DLC) and could serve as an integral part for the game, where-in you need to hire, train, and arm a militia for a battle that is to take place sometime during the story. (It might be beneficial to have this place around the central area of the map, so it doesn't require the player to travel a day and night to get there but more: Half a day or less)

And depending on what you did in the previous game, it carrys over to the sequel: e.g. how many people you killed, how many times you've been in jail. It could impact the world in subtle ways and may even be in dialogue with characters.

I haven't thought of an ending, and that's all I've got so far story-related

MECHANICS (important): Combat - obviously will be overhauled a bit more, with how and where you stand affecting the outcome of the battle. Enemies learning your moves as you learn theirs, and hopefully Warhorse can find a way to implement combat with more than one enemy in a much better way instead of praying and hoping you don't get stabbed in the taint, maybe being able to do those cool swift sword movements you see Henry do in that fight with !!!(SPOILER)!!!ThatfightwithRuntinthefighttotakebackPribyslavitz !!!(END OF SPOILER)!!!

Horse/Dog Care - You don't really need to worry that much about feeding your Horse or Dog (Feeding the dog raises his obedience) but I reckon there should be hunger stats for these two wonderful companions, and just whistling for your horse doesn't make it magically come from nowhere, but instead comes towards you when you're in earshot.

Expelling bodily fluids - I reckon that there should be a Shit and piss stat for added immersion, I mean you there are toilets in Kingdom Come, but they're just used as seats. Warhorse should definitely put it in as a feature, and you could get some useful buffs for taking a good long shit or piss.

Example: Perk Activated: Taking your time: The world is spinning fast and you're just taking it all in while also letting it out. 2 points in Vitality for 5 minutes for taking your time.

Eating and Drinking - From the previous topic, Eating and drinking should be two different things, the two of them negating the others affect. Nourishment would be how much you've eaten while hydration will be for how much you've drunk.

Debauchery & Cleanliness - indulgence in earthly pleasures could be somthing with a scale, the more you drink and indulge in sex the more that characters will see you as a brute or a fun party animal, or the more you pray and do good honest Christian work - the more you'll be seen as noble or a stick in the mud. It would awesome if there could also be a middleground, a mix between the two.

That's all I can think of right now. Hope you like this and I can't wait to hear what you might think would be a fun feature to the game or story.

    Bye for now.

    Woman's Lot - Savedata edit - Removal

    Posted: 05 Mar 2020 07:30 AM PST

It seemed to be my biggest mistake buying the DLC for my epic gamestore version (but also noticed that many others suffer from this bug). I am always having a hard time time skipping or sleeping. It will always result into an infinite bullshittery of loading times. Doesn't matter if SSD, no mods, or whatever, I am always facing this issue.

I made a test without the DLC being activated. Same mods, same game file location (SSD), made quite the long progression (the plague in merhojed) while my other save with the DLC had issues since I arrived in Rattay and paid the doc-bills. That save is beyond the "from the ashes" DLC.

Waiting and sleeping - either canceled or left running till the end: no more infinite loading screens.

To be honest, I can happy get rid of Mutt, since its Hitbox and static mesh is ragingly annoying when interacting or him getting in your way.

There are no other "profits" or "gains" from that DLC. For its short gameplay as the girl, I don't find it plausible leaving it in my game.

So, my big question is: Is there a possibility removing raw data from one's save file?

    Horse Metallic Sound

    Posted: 05 Mar 2020 02:56 AM PST

Hello, the title is pretty much self-explanatory. Every time I gallop with the horse there is loud rattling metallic sound that doesn't go away even if I trow every equipment of the horse away, all my equipment and change horses.Does anybody have a fix for this? Couldn't find anywhere anything.

When you accidentally progress the story

    Posted: 04 Mar 2020 04:10 PM PST

Minor spoilers for All that Glisters.

Had just chased down the knight after investigating the wagon crash. Took a break, came back, didn't remember wtf I was doing, so naturally I did something completely random and not at all related to the main story: stealth outfit.

Looked into my inventory, saw I had nearly every piece that I was looking for except one: the tight red/black hose (research said it was originally named red despite being black, and the name got changed to black somewhere along the line).

Was just minding my own business, trying to find some dang hose for my stealth outfit, saw a post on this sub saying a bandit camp down south of Skalitz had a bandit wearing one, so I went down south along the river toward the smoke cloud on the map.

Found the bandit camp, approached it absolutely casually (tbh I thought it was a coal miner's camp at first lmao), killed everyone by spamming Stinger stabs with a shield, looted every last one (counted seven total), ate from the pot to make sure all of them were dead (since bandits will come up and "surprise" you if you eat from their pot), no stealth hose.

Thought "Hey, there's a mine entrance literally right there; maybe there's loot, maybe a bandit's hiding in there, there's gotta be something in there, right?". Went in there hoping to find a chest or bandit or something, discovered the counterfeit coin area that the All that Glisters quest line revolved around. Weeeeell I guess that's a way to progress the story. Skip an entire few hours of running around to accidentally stumble upon the major turning point of the quest I was on.

Even had some dialogue saying "Oh, I just thought to myself 'If I were doing an underground counterfeit coin business where would I be?'" when asked how I found him, even though it was pure luck and I had absolutely no intention of progressing the main quest line lmao. Welp, guess I know what I'm doing on my next play through :D

    And yet... I didn't even get my hose... wtf ;-;
