    Mercifull run

    Posted: 13 May 2021 06:06 AM PDT

Soooo I got a question. I'm doing a 0 kill run in kcd but I don't know if I can Knock people out, as in a stealth takedown or knocking them out in their sleep. Also I once killed a bandit's dog after I got ambushed, does that mess up the achievement? Because it does say I killed one enemy in my statistics?

If you like kcd, you may like the grail quest series of novels by Bernard Cornwell

    Posted: 12 May 2021 09:45 PM PDT

It deals with Thomas of hookton joining the English army as an archer, after the death of his father. He then later begins searching for the holy grail. It gives me a lot of the same vibes as kcd.

    Are you okay Brother?

I think the devs don't want us to win every fight flaweless, cause it would make no sence.

    Posted: 13 May 2021 12:14 AM PDT

Could it be possible that it doesn't matter how skilled you are with a sword, at some point you will always get contered without any chance of deff yourself? Henry is just a regular human and not a god with unnatural reflexes.

Ofc when you grind some level and practice enemy patterns in combat you will get much better and start to win more fight flawless. But at the end there is always a bigger fish who knows how to counter and bring you down. Maybe thats the experience of growing in combat.

Since I accepted this, I got way less pissed when I encounter someone who semes to counter every feint.

Just accept that their are features that you can't fully exploit in the game and getting hit is an unavoidble part and you need to make the best out of it.

    About Mutt...

    Posted: 12 May 2021 02:42 PM PDT

So when finishing the quest "A womans lot", you get Mutt as an "extra". You have to train him amd that takes time. Now I figured I don't want to spend all that time training and hunting with Mutt, I just want him to have all the commands. So I bought 40 meat(pork and mutton) and kept praising him/exhausting the dialogue. Kept feeding Mutt after every new available perk and I did it a little under an hour.

    From 22:44-23:37 p.m.

Now I only lack the charisma boost, but Mutt has all the commands. PS: not sure if this info was ever shared. In any case, use this advice as you see fit. :)
