PSA: Pestilence is a timed quest Posted: 04 Feb 2021 10:14 PM PST This is probably common knowledge to most, but as someone who has 90+ hours on my first play through Idk why but it didn't cross my mind. I love this game, through and through. I literally just built a new PC in order to play this game on ultra with 100+ fps. (It's great) However, it's definitely punishing, and I would be lying if I didn't say I wasn't disappointed that I failed this quest and probably missed so many cool intricacies within it. Anyways, make sure to google the quest you're on to determine whether it's a timed quest or not! [link] [comments]

Posted: 05 Feb 2021 10:17 AM PST Hello everyone, So I noticed there are numerous quest givers in taverns and around cities/towns. Are these duplicate or unique? Does the game even have duplicate quests (i.e. is there a limited number of side quests). [link] [comments]

I just finished the game and here are my thoughts Posted: 04 Feb 2021 07:46 PM PST I just beat the game for the first time and wanted to write down my thoughts and see what others thought their first time beating the game. I first of all love the story and that's what mainly let me coming back for the first half of the story. Allow me to explain myself here- I went into the game knowing little to nothing about it. I heard the game from a YouTuber I watch who played it two years ago. The combat was NOT something I expected. Like at all. I hated it at first. I lost count at how many times I swore at my tv. I also swung the sword like a maniac so that's why I was so bad at combat. As I trained and got the controls down, combat became easier. By the end of the game, I was level 18 and could kill without relying on my dog companion. (Though I often used him to distract targets) I had a lot of issues blocking because I didn't read the tutorial carefully the first time. Even after I read it, it took a while for me to not have the block up constantly and to just time everything correctly. By mid game, I was able to take on around 2 to 3 enemies at once where before I struggled with 1. At the end of the game, I was able to take on 6 men at once with some help from other teammates when they didn't end up getting hit because they got in my way. The only enemy that stands to defeat me is the dreaded bush. Those things launch me like a catapult. I have no experience with PC's, so I can only mark my experiences with Xbox One and PS4. Graphics wise, the Xbox One worked better. The game loaded faster, people didn't take forever to render in the game, and the only glitch I find bothersome is the infinite load glitch. So far, it's happened only on PS4. I love getting into trouble in video games and the system for guards and jail is really good. It's entertaining to punch Kunesh in the face for being an ass to me and then watch as the guards form a conga line chasing after me. Even though it fails, I always get a laugh out of making the excuses to try to get out of it. I'm easy to entertain. Overall, at first the game frustrated me. I loved the story and that's what kept me going, though, as I got better it was more than just the story that kept me going; it was being able to feel good by winning and forming relationships with other characters. Sorry this was so long, but I just wanted to post here to give my final thoughts. :) [link] [comments]
Guys, I messed up. I think I'm stuck on a main quest bug. Any advice? Posted: 05 Feb 2021 10:28 AM PST Hi guys. Sorry for the long post, I'm desperate. I started the quest "Questions and Answers". This is the one where you go to Merhojed to ask the captive about counterfeit silver, meanwhile there is a plague in Merhojed. After starting the quest, I started and completed the Pribyslavitz DLC quest line, started and completed the Zhol quest line and got the boss's armor, and finally won that damn horse race. After side questing I went back to Merhojed to continue the main quest line only to discover that while I was enjoying the game, the plague killed everyone, including the captive I needed to question. Well, I can't question him now so my quest updated to dig up his body for clues. I dug his body and got his note about the German soldier, but it did not trigger the next quest objective, and Sir Radzig does not have the next dialogue to show him what I found off the captive's body, and the German soldier is not at the Sasau Inn. I believe I have encountered a game breaking bug as I cannot advance. Does anyone have any advice? I put maybe 20 hours into the game since starting this quest, I'd hate to start this over and loose that progress. Here is what I have tried: 1) putting the note back in the captive's corpse and taking it out again. 2) Loading before I dig up the captive and trying again. (I think I've done this 4 times?) My quest still doesn't update. 3) Waiting around the inn all day and all night across multiple days for the German soldier. I think he won't come until the next quest. 4) Talking to Sir Radzig at different times of day. The dialogue to show the note will not appear. If you read this far, THANK YOU! Any tips would be extremely appreciated. [link] [comments]
My 6th playthrough and I just found out reeky is timed. Posted: 05 Feb 2021 04:04 AM PST Spoilers ****************** I'm on my 6th playthrough and several hundred hours in and I for the first time got a dead reeky. I drank my savior schnapps in front of the cave and then prepped my potions for the tough 1v3 because reeky is useless and as I walk in he's already been fucked up. First time I ever got that result so it shocked me a bit. Made me rush timmy because maybe talking to his sister is timed too. 6 playthroughs and im still learning new stuff. Game is crazy.
