What's more important to you when it comes to clothes/armor: stats or fashion? Posted: 12 Jan 2021 09:37 AM PST So far I've basically been filling out every armor space with the best I can find, but that kind of leads to some not-so-pretty combinations. How do you guys play? Do you focus on getting the best gear, or do you choose the more fashionable option and choose whatever you feel looks best even if it means not filling every armor space? [link] [comments]

Posted: 12 Jan 2021 06:14 AM PST (Playing in ps4) How does combat system and combo's work here? I already add many fighting combo perks but the enemy somehow blocks them all. And also every common basic attack i make is countered and it looks like the enemy never runs out of stamina. Is there some kind of perk that can slow down time to create a perfect block? The only enemies i manage to win are peasent robbers and archers. [link] [comments]

Does Black Peter show up in the next tourney if I avoid his ambush? Posted: 12 Jan 2021 09:46 AM PST So uhh I joined my third Rattay Tourney and won it. And BP ambushed me afterwards. I killed him. But I reloaded a save and ran away (on horseback) from him. All depending on if Black Peter will show up at next tourney if I run away from his ambush. I want to do some investigating (talking with people around the tourney arena) instead of just reporting to the blacksmith that quest is done. But if Black Peter doesn't show up again, I might just avoid the current tourney altogether. [link] [comments]

Nest Of Vipers - Merciful Achievement Posted: 12 Jan 2021 08:59 AM PST Is there a way to poison the Cuman food without killing any of them? Like if I put a ton of spirits in it, will that help during the battle? Or is it best to just burn the arrows and leave? [link] [comments]
Are there any training I should prioritise paying for first? Posted: 12 Jan 2021 08:42 AM PST I know it's down to playstyle just wondering if I should learn to read immediately or if something else is even more useful. Assuming alchemy and those kind of things are not to be focused on early. [link] [comments]

Posted: 12 Jan 2021 07:42 AM PST (Minor spoilers) -- Runt fight (Baptism by Fire) I think this is supposed to be a tough fight. Coming from Dark Souls genre of games I should be able to take him otherwise I'll show myself out and go back to the Souls subreddits with my tail between my legs. Jokes aside, by the time I got to Runt after the battle outside, I was nearly dead, no health. I tried a few times but I was always 2-3 hits away from death. So I loaded an old save. What items (potions or otherwise) would you stock up on so that after the battle you're able to regenerate health fully and maybe take a stamina potion or extra damage potion? I'm no archer I'd prefer fighting melee so the arrow to the head strategy probably isnt for me. Lastly, I have a Herod's sword and a baileff mace. Which is better against Runt? [link] [comments]
The feeling of successfully brewing my first potion Posted: 11 Jan 2021 07:03 PM PST I upset my wife a bit with my Braveheart-style yell of triumph, waking our baby daughter right after my wife had finally rocked her to sleep. I had thought the alchemy system was a bit over-the-top and too complicated, but it was so satisfying to see it all come through correctly, and to brew that savior schnapps. Granted, I did receive a hint here on the board that each press of the bellows counts as one time cycle, so that I don't need to use the hourglass. I feel like it would have been a LOT harder if I didn't know that. [link] [comments]

Yet another need for explaining the combat Posted: 12 Jan 2021 07:54 AM PST After spending 85h in the game the combat mechanism is something that I still cannot fully understand and I need some clarification. This mostly concerns Rattay tourneys and having to deal with more experienced enemies. I'm playing on a PC using mouse and keyboard and sometimes during combat the cursor does not stay locked on the target, but is freely moving whenever I try to take aim from a particular direction. To makes matters even worse - when I'm moving, the five pointed star can easily shift of screen, so I cannot do nothing against the enemy - either perfect block the attacks or attack myself, especially since the combat is very time-presice and I'm losing precious milliseconds without any ability to actually fight with the enemy. This is extremely frustrating, because I cannot focus on the combat before making the cursor behave as it should during combat. Moreover, there are instances where the five pointed star shows a green shield in the middle and it's supposed to allow me to make perfect blocks, but for some reason I cannot do any type of blocking - neither perfect blocks, not any blocks at all, the Q button does nothing and I can only see my character badly wounded without any means to prevent it, even with full health and stamina bar. Can anyone explain me what am I doing wrong, or is it some wonkiness of the controlling that I simply need to get used to? [link] [comments]
Please make having a human companion possible Posted: 11 Jan 2021 05:06 PM PST I love Mutt with all my hearth but this has to be said. This game is supposed to be a realistic medieval game yet you have to attack a banditcamp with 6 heavy armed bandits with just 1 dog. [link] [comments]
