| Posted: 12 Jan 2021 09:14 PM PST The top tourney guy who I beat a few days ago came back. He had poison on his short sword, so one good hit and I'm pretty much done, whenever I almost break his stamina bar he just dodges away or perfect guards, I hit him over dozens and dozens of times with my axe, which explicitly states to strike hard on even armored opponents, but his health bar was barely even moving. So I did what I should've done long ago and stealth killed him. Even worse is that his armor is completely inferior to mine but atleast I got 1.2k out of his stuff so it isn't a complete loss [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 13 Jan 2021 10:12 AM PST playing on steam, on a PC. i installed some mods last week. i played for a little while, and then put it down over my long work week. when i opened steam today, it told me kingdom come is not installed. i'm pretty sure the mods i installed are up to date. i mean, it worked right after i added them. but now it won't read as installed? anyone come across this problem or have an idea what might've happened? | Dead Men Tell No Tales (Minor spoiler) Posted: 13 Jan 2021 09:39 AM PST I stumbled across a 'DLC quest' marker and I spoke to a blacksmith about it which started the quest. I'm wondering how the quest started when I never bought any dlc? Second question, I thought the quest ended after I spoke to the blacksmith, the quest even showed as completed in the quest log. But a few days later Black Peter shows up to steal my tourney winnings (This type of stuff is what makes this game better than any I've ever played, got bored of the Witcher 3, KCD destroys it). Anyway, I killed black Peter and the quest said to go back to the blacksmith and tell him what happened. But the fight caused my health to drain and Marigold didn't do anything. Bandages didn't do anything either since I wasn't bleeding. I'm wondering if maybe his sword was poisoned. Anyway, since I died the game loaded me to a previous save and the quest is gone again. Will I see Black Peter again and have this quest restarted? I really hope so. Bonus question, I just got the Pestilence and Waldensians quests and I heard they're very good. Are they time sensitive quests? If I don't progress the main quest, none of the side quests should in theory time out, correct? [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 13 Jan 2021 01:33 AM PST I just got the game for the first time and was considering jumping straight into hardcore because I like that sort of thing and I didn't think having to eat and stuff was gonna be a problem for me, but I also saw that it's not gonna mark objectives or even yourself on the map, how on earth am I supposed to know where to go? Also if I wanted to go for the achievement to do it with all the negative perks, any tips for dealing with all of that? But mainly how do you get around with no map markers? [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 12 Jan 2021 11:57 PM PST I am loving this game. BUT I HATE the camera lock system.... Most of the time I get hit by the second dude whom I cannot lock onto bc game decides to lock into the guy who is 10m away (ik about scroll wheel to chance and Mb3 to release lock).I can 1v1 as a low level and I know the game is hard but this IS NOT what I am taking about, I am talking about that broken combat mechanics not the difficulty. Then there is this bug, Im walking backwards and suddenly a guy 2 meters away from me grabs me hits me twice then my camera goes all over the place I get hit couple more times and then it goes back to normal. Honestly 1vmultiple enemies is killing the game for me rn but not bc difficulty (I don't mind it) but because of the awful camera. Is there any mod or smth to fix this? Any unofficial patch to make the game more enjoyable? [link] [comments] | ||

I've mastered my sword skill as well as my strength and almost my defense but it seems like my master strikes get parried and I get clinched and hit with a 6 swing combo on the second competition of the tourney. | Posted: 12 Jan 2021 04:07 PM PST I have almost 100 hours in the game and in decent at fighting, just won the tourney and can take anyone one v one. But for the life of me I can't figure out how to combo the longsword. Even if I do a combo I don't actually know what it looks like. For example, there's a combo that goes like this slash-stab-stab. Everytime I attempt it, Bernard parries me. Sometimes I parry his attack yet he still blocks (Not parry) my repost which is supposed to be unlockable. . [link] [comments] | ||
