I might be reaching but I think Henry may be breaking the fourth wall here when drinking with Ambrose. Talking about how we control him.

I'm about to do my first hardcore run and I'm going for Tis but a scratch, wish me luck.

I got lucky with a well timed pause and received this amazing screenshot. Get your 3D glasses out.

This is what dropping your whole inventory alongside with the horses inventory looks like. My game crashed 4 seconds after that tho xD

Is there a crosshair mod that works?

    Posted: 23 Jan 2021 07:40 AM PST

I don't like that huge yellow sphere.

I tried the "almost invisible crosshair" mod (a .pak file to be put into the data folder) but it doesn't seem to work.

What is the best way to train with Captain Bernard?

    Posted: 23 Jan 2021 01:57 AM PST

Recently started playing, and I've seen a lot of people saying that the best way to improve combat is to train with Captain Bernard, but what is the best way to do this? Wooden weapons, real weapons, or paid training?

How do I make captain Bernard like me?

    Posted: 23 Jan 2021 03:11 AM PST

Ever since I aimed my bow on the way to the archery tutorial and the captain arrested me, he has despised me. This stops me accessing the weapon specific training options, with Bernard spouting off some insulted dialogue when I try. Is there any way to fix this, and is it worth it to try?

Any way to fix my face? Lol

    Posted: 23 Jan 2021 07:54 AM PST

Basically title lol. I love this game and I've spent so much time training (first playthrough, I've been following the advice you've all given me) that my face is, well, pretty fucked up. I have tons of cuts all over. Is there a way to fix this? Or am I forever destined to have red slices on my face and neck?

The game won’t let me sprint?

    Posted: 23 Jan 2021 07:30 AM PST

I press shift to sprint and I can't? I can walk still jump like normal and crouch. Is there a fix?

This game ruined games for me

    Posted: 23 Jan 2021 09:13 AM PST

I'm sure you've seen this title before lol

I'm going to do the dlc later.

In the meantime, cound you guys recommend games that actually have dialogue options? I just bought Metro Exodus and my character is SILENT, couldn't get into it because of this.

(Other than RSR2 and the Witcher 3, already have them).

(PC) Mouse sensitivity - set it lower than minimum on game/UI settings

    Posted: 23 Jan 2021 05:10 AM PST

I've set mouse sensitivity to lowest in-game but it's still very far from low enough. Only way to get it playable is to lower mouse DPI to about 1000.

Thing is, I don't want to lower mouse DPI for every game, as I want the extra precision in other games.

I could lower the DPI on the fly just for KCD, but then the menus/inventory/map mouse pointer speed gets ridiculously low. I really don't want to change DPI every time I open the inventory or map screens.

I've been looking for the information of whether I could find an extra setting on some cfg file, and I've been digging the files, but didn't find anything useful yet.

Any ideas? I appreciate it, thanks!

How does Sir Robard and Theresa know the burial place of Henry's parents?

    Posted: 23 Jan 2021 08:54 AM PST

Just finished the prologue and I was confused at how Theresa and Sir Robard buried Henry's parents

in Henry's stead. I mean, how do they know the exact burial place? Henry was supposedly knocked out in the cutscene, and I don't really remember Henry talking about it to others before.

Just curious if I missed something or if this is a trivial error in the storyline.

How do you turn on XP in the ui?

    Posted: 23 Jan 2021 08:43 AM PST

I've seen some people's gameplay wherein the upper right corner shows their XP gain. Is this a mod or a console command? My google-fu is failing me. Jesus Christ be praised.

How do you master strike riposte?

    Posted: 23 Jan 2021 02:06 AM PST

Npcs do it all the time while I can only perfect block their riposte no matter the timing. I can masterstrike everything other than riposte

What I mean by riposte is when you perfect block and immediately attack. The game tutorial tells you that you can only fend off riposte with perfect block until one side land a blow. And yet npc keep breaking the perfect block-riposte rhythm by master striking my riposte. This did not happen when I played on release (I ditched the game during the monastery part). So I assume after a certain update (1.5 I think?), I should be able to do that as well, but I am not sure how

I have yet to meet another real person who can actually like this game, or hell, even just tolerate it enough to play it for more than 3 hours.

    Posted: 22 Jan 2021 03:23 PM PST

This game is really fucking niche, isn't it? Is it because it's just too hard for people to come to grips with? I can't think of any other reason.
