    So I just bought the game around to days ago, I loved it at the start but when I really got into the game and started with the missions I was killed again and again while travelling. So I want plate amour to help protect me but I don't know where to find it or get the amount of cash needed?

    Hardcore mode for (not really) first playthrough?

    So I realize that this question has been asked many times but I didn't find a thread that details the same situation I am in so here goes:

    I've been playing this game on-and-off for some time and am really enjoyed it. However, I really want to get into this game now and I was asking myself if I should start a new game in normal or hardcore mode.

    Keep in mind that this is not a completely fresh first playthrough but that I played a bit before (not sure how far I got into the story. I think I played until the quest with the killings at a stable where you have to find the people who did it).

    I heard that while the game is pretty hard at the beginning the difficulty quickly falls down once you get some money and the combat gets really easy after a while. Is that true? This would be the main reason for me to try Hardcore mode.

    However, playing hardcore also removes your compass and all the tutorials and so on I'm really not sure if it is worth it or if I should save it for a real second playthrough.

    I'm not too concerned about the lack of fast-travel as I plan to mostly walk/ride everywhere anyways.

    Bro towards the end of the game I was expecting a epic battel with ivan, but instead Henry hit me in the feels when he dreamed of his blacksmith father, like what the hell man.I haven't cried like this at all,the only time I came this close was the walking dead season 1 game.

    Is stealing to keep worth it?

    Stealing to sell? Yes. Just rob an armory and sell everything to the miller and make a fortune. But... I am in need of some new gear and since transfering stolen items to your horse or dropping them on the ground before a search doesn't work anymore, I'm not sure if I should do it. What do y'all guys think?

    FPS Issues

    So I am almost done with the game and I started the quest where you rebuild privbyslavitz. However, now I get huge fps issues where it will not go above 15-30 no matter which settings are picked. My CPU usage is around 60-66% with my GPU usage at 95-99 usage. For reference I've played 60 hours with no issues, always staying above 60 fps for the most part. I have tried loading old saves, starting a new game, and more, but I cannot get the game to run well.

    I am kinda lost on what to do here.

    Specs are:

    i7-8700k

    24GB of ddr4 ram

    RTX 2080 super

    750 W Power Supply

    2TB SSD

    ASUS ROG Strix Z370-E Gaming Motherboard.

    Any suggestions on what to do here guys? I've tried loading old saves and I get the same issues, as soon as I turn around I get 15 fps nonstop.
