What will be Henry’s role in the Hussite Wars? Posted: 12 Oct 2020 08:25 AM PDT Assuming he lived long enough to see the beginning of the Hussite Wars, which side will he be with? Will he side with the Catholic Church and even be on the side of Sigismund?! Or will he side with the Hussites, the very same people who killed his father, Radzig? And may potentially be up against Hans Capon? (I read his bio and it said that Hans fought in a few early battles against the hussites). Seem like he's between a rock and a hard place. Do you gain the ability to swing weapons faster? Posted: 12 Oct 2020 09:53 AM PDT I've been playing for a bit now, about 20 hours in I believe. I've got decent gear, and I've been exclusively using longswords or longswords and shields. I can fight well enough, against low level Cumans and bandits, but my attack speed is awfully slow when it comes to fighting anyone worthwhile. Does this speed up with time? Or is Henry always an over swinging powerhouse? Lol. My main level is 8. Strength is 7. Agility 5. Vitality 4. Defence 5. Warfare 5. Sword 6. [link] [comments]
Optimizing game for 60fps (PC) Posted: 12 Oct 2020 02:23 AM PDT For some reason I'm averaging around 40-50 fps on very high, sometimes less than that and I'm trying to figure out what's up. I got a Ryzen 2600, 16gb ram, and an evga 1660 super. I've seen videos on YouTube of a similar rig running great but for me it doesn't even get to 60fps. My CPU runs at around 40 - 50%, ram at 30 - 40% and gpu barely goes above 30%. Running on full screen and even on low settings it doesn't get to 60fps. My drivers are up to date and Nvidia optimization doesn't help either. I'm sure there's a bunch of posts like this and I apologize but would appreciate any help. Thanks. [link] [comments]

Posted: 12 Oct 2020 02:13 AM PDT So, this has been said before, in fact I think I saw a post about this very thing. But, wouldn't it be cool if there was some sort of smithing mechanic in the game? Yeah, making weapons and armor would realistically take days, but Henry spent all of his like being a blacksmith appreciate to his "dad" (step-dad technically??), so why wouldn't he be able to atleast make something like arrows or smaller objects? Like, if you have the materials and a forge, shouldn't you be able to at least make something, or at least improve the stats of something? Anyways just a thought. [link] [comments]
Blacksmithing/creating your own sword in KCD2 Posted: 11 Oct 2020 04:15 PM PDT I'd love to see a mechanic in the next game where you can find the metals and materials and smith your own sword. The better the materials you can harvest, and the higher your skill in blacksmithing the better the damage and utility of the weapon. It would add so much more to the immersion. Posted: 11 Oct 2020 02:00 PM PDT Because there are many armours with singlar stats and others you never use because they are redundant, parts of the game you miss out on. Like, who has actually used the polish plate or the Aachen gambeson. To drive players towards using more armour sets instead of going from normal gambeson to saxon and then doublette, maybe an armour stat bonus for each matching piece worn. I don't even think it would be very arcady because if armoursmiths in (for example) Magdeburg tend to stick to a certain design, then would the armour piece not synergize with pieces that share that design? I just want to find more reasons to use a broader selection of armours. I already have a houserule (there are exceptions) which stops me from wearing and using looted gear too slow my progression. How optimized and refined is this game? Posted: 12 Oct 2020 02:26 AM PDT I've heard that this game already received its final update, so it is basically finished on the devs' part, isn't it? I wish to buy it on Steam, but before I do so, I wanted to ask the community about their opinion. How refined and finished do you consider this game to be? Is it full of bugs? [link] [comments]
Posted: 11 Oct 2020 03:25 PM PDT I am trying to revert back to 1.9.3 for mods on steam but I don't have the access code. Anyone know where to get it? [link] [comments]
I'm here to report that the game still runs terrible on a 3080. Posted: 11 Oct 2020 01:34 PM PDT I had a 2070 super and i was surprised at how this game underperformed on it. after getting my 3080 a week ago, i finally revisited kingdom come and im here to report it still underperforms even on just high-medium settings. and the geforce experience app still reccomends using alot of settings at low. Just in case anyone was wondering around 60-80fps on high/medium 1440p with alot of big dips. actually feels very similar to the 2070... sigh BTW i7 10700k for all the people asking [link] [comments] |
