    115 hours of awesome fun.

    Posted: 02 Aug 2020 05:38 AM PDT

I stopped yesterday night and checked my steam hours on KC:D and saw that I'd gotten 115 hours on it.

This game sucked me in better than Skyrim and the fall out series.

I've been playing alongside my friend who is doing a "good christian" Henry run.
I'm doing the Chaotic Neutral Henry run... I help anyone I can if they seem nice, but I also steal from almost anyone who has more than 2 groschen to rub together. (otherwise known as sell low to Armourers, then steal their fortunes)

as I get past the Neuhof murderer investigation, Im noticing more and more the skills that my Henry has are becoming needed... Such as stealth, lockpicking (to get my stuff out of Vranik before I left... No one is getting their grubby hands on my stuff!) and alchemy...

For whatever reason, He had made 60 Cockerel potions and I never got that option...after looking it up, I find that its because the herbwomen know me from my trade dealings with them.

So... are there any skills you guys trained just because it was "naturally what you would do" (even if Henry wouldn't) and it came out to be super useful later?

Do we have a mod to raise the visor for cinematics and dialogs? If not, it should be in the game

    Posted: 02 Aug 2020 01:22 AM PDT

I'm not going around with my visor down all the time, so cinematics and dialogs should show my Henry character with the visor up.

Is this game worth getting for Xbox One in 2020?

    Posted: 01 Aug 2020 07:16 PM PDT

I've considered getting this game for some time now, the historical setting and realism is very appealing to me. I've heard the Xbox is still plagued with bugs and other technical issues, which makes me a little hesitant. I understand the team behind the game is too small to polish everything, but that doesn't change the fact that bugs aren't fun to experience. I have an Xbox One S and I'll probably buy the royal edition if that matters. Any feedback or advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Is the DLC worth it?

    Posted: 02 Aug 2020 09:41 AM PDT

Just started playing again and never picked up any DLC. Are they worth it? Is there any I have to get? Any to skip?

After crossing the bridge and defeating the bandits, the soldiers don't do anything and I get a game over because too many of them died even if none of died. I'm on PC. How do I fix this?

Game Pass save works with Royal Edition?

    Posted: 02 Aug 2020 08:02 AM PDT

From what I've heard if you buy the Royal Edition after playing the normal edition (or more specifically I'm talking about the Xbox Game Pass version) you can't use your save and have to start again.

However, this comment on another post I made says otherwise. Can anyone confirm or deny either way?

Anyone else leave parts of map intentionally unexplored?

    Posted: 02 Aug 2020 07:59 AM PDT

The GUI and aesthetics are some of the best I've seen in any video game. I love the way the clouds and angels move out of the way and sweep back into place as I fast travel. I love these little elements so much that I don't want to lose them. So I don't manually travel to certain parts if the map; I want to keep certain clumps of clouds and groups of angels for my immersion.

Anyone else do this? Am I missing out on key locations?

Console command to start a quest ? (Hare hunt bug)

    Posted: 02 Aug 2020 07:13 AM PDT

    Hello,

After playing the game in 2018 and being a bit disappointed with the multiple bugs, I decided to come back with the royal edition.

I'm again stuck with what appears to be a bug : I can't start he quest "Hare hunt".
Before I get some advice about that : I completed viper's nest, I'm not too far in the main quest (just met Ulrich), I got the information about poachers from the innkeeper and I even have the "quest giver" mark on Nicholas.
But the quest still won't launch.
After some digging in old steam and reddit posts from 2018, I found someone who had the same problem than me, and he fixed it by forcing the start of the quest with the console.
The thing is, I don't know how to do it ! I've looked everywhere and all I found was some useless console commands to change gravity, get a reticle with the bow or change the FOV.

    Any help for me ?
    Thanks a lot !
