    Combos!!!! Argh

    Posted: 03 Aug 2020 05:07 AM PDT

How do i do these multiple hit combos which are three or four hits? Whenever i try these combos, i always get parried and master stroked. WHAT THE HELL? Don't give me these combos if you won't let me do them? I can do the head hit and trip combos but no others.

    Combos

    Posted: 03 Aug 2020 10:22 AM PDT

This may be common sense to some, but it took me a WHOOLE minute to figure this one out: you cannot do a Longsword Combo if you have a shield in the other hand. My genius self said, "Hey! Shields give max defense and long swords give max damage, so let's put those bad boys together!" No. Don't do such a foolish thing. That's thinking like a Cuman. Be a good Christian and choose one or the other.

    Levelling

    Posted: 03 Aug 2020 09:04 AM PDT

I have put a fair few hours into the game and am a pretty alright spot with my levels. However, I have only really used the swords and have very few levels in any other weapon. Is there any benefit for levelling up the other weapons if I don't think I'll ever use them? So my main question is that if I level up Axe will that level up my Warfare and Strength quicker than if I were using my Sword which I already have many levels in? I hope you get what I mean and thanks to anyone who responds :)

    Band of bastards? Spoilers!

    Posted: 03 Aug 2020 08:36 AM PDT

I played the mission A Tight Spot, and 3 of the members died. Was this supposed to happen? Without spoiling the rest I'm aware that there is a battle at t he end but how are we supposed to win if it comes to a point where it's just me and kuno?

What’s a good source of income in this game?

    Posted: 03 Aug 2020 08:31 AM PDT

I'm pretty new to this game so I'm not good at combat and I want to get plate armor but it's super expensive. Is there any good source of income early in the game? I live in an inn in Uzhitz and I rob my roommate every night for a hundred groschen but that's pretty slow without any other income

New player here I was wondering if it's possible to keep sir Radzigs sword

    Posted: 03 Aug 2020 01:18 AM PDT

I'm on my first playthrough and got to the part where you return to skalitz to bury your parents. When the bandits attack you can you fight them off or do you have to loose the fight and the sword?

Baptism of Fire during a Merciful run is way too fucking difficult

    Posted: 03 Aug 2020 07:29 AM PDT

Tried doing this quest about 10 times now and can't seem to get anywhere with it on my Merciful run. Doesn't seem like a reasonable task doing Nest of Vipers and Baptism of Fire without killing anyone, so I thought I'd have a rant as well as ask for some pointers.

For BoF itself I went into the battle having sabotaged some of the enemies arrows but not all and I couldn't poison their food as I didn't have any poison in my inventory. I read up on a few strats and I managed to deal with the first wave of enemies easily enough. I just stayed back and only attacked enemies unarmed from behind when I could.

The archers are the real pain for me. I tried luring the first 4 archers down to Radzig and his soldiers but they wouldn't budge. I even attacked them with my sword to get them to come down but that didn't work. Eventually they ran down by themselves and right past where our soldiers were and up to where the second wave of enemies are (near the church IIRC) so I tried attacking them myself again but with no real luck. Radzig and his soldiers just stayed put while I was trying to deal with the archers myself.

I ended up failing the "Deal with the archers" objective and Radzig and co. finally moved only to get royally fucked by the enemy soldiers and the other archers just above us. Another few times I ended up getting killed straight away by the archers or just by bleeding out. I've read that you can distract the archers and bring them down to us. but I couldn't find a way to do that myself.

Not sure if I should just go way back to before Nest of Vipers and just try sabotaging everything without getting killed somehow unless there's some other things I'm missing.

Sorry for the wall of text but just needed to vent a little. Any feedback/tips will be much appreciated.

    【early game spoiler】Horse Problem

    Posted: 03 Aug 2020 06:52 AM PDT

So I went to Mehojed before and after a certain main quest, but there were no horses available to be bought for obvious reasons.
Now it's been a few days, but still no horses. I had my eyes on a certain warhorse, does it mean that I cannot buy that horse anymore?

    Problems in Prabyslavitz

    Posted: 03 Aug 2020 01:15 AM PDT

[RESOLVED] I cannot seem to beat the war on Prabyslavitz main quest. No matter how many times I try, the archers never die and I always get the "too many of your men have died" death screen. Any tips for this quest? The AI doesn't seem very suited for this type of situation, and I'm not about to take on 20 dudes by myself.

Edit: the archers did not spawn. Runt was easy.
