Is the game worth buying in 2020? Posted: 09 Jul 2020 06:58 AM PDT I think the game looks cool but I hear allot of negative feedback about it. Is it still as buggy as it was 2 years ago? Can you customize your character allot or is it just your basic boring customization like in other games? Are the dlc's worth buying? Is the world interesting or do you just run through empty maps to the next mission like in other open world games? And is the AI interesting in fights and dialoge? Im really interested in the story, and the fact that its all historically accurate and I think the slow paste of the game can be very chill and relaxing from what I hear. Edit: Damn all of you make this game sound amazing. Extra question - does the special edition have all the dlc's? Im getting this game :) [link] [comments]
Did anybody else not fight like an honorable night and more like a barbarian? Posted: 09 Jul 2020 04:00 AM PDT I find the combat a little much, so I just started attacking at night when they're asleep, doing stealth kills, etc [link] [comments]

(Spoilers) The ending to this game really took me by surprise... Posted: 09 Jul 2020 01:08 AM PDT I've honestly never played a game that I've enjoyed this much throughout, only for that enjoyment to be absolutely crushed by the ending. Prior to the assault on Talmberg I felt like I was just getting into the game really. I had a good stash of coin built up, some nice armour and weapons and was starting to get good at the combat system. I really enjoyed the battle for Talmberg, and the resolution of the hostage situation. Though the entire way through I had absolutely no idea I was at the end of the game, I honestly thought I was midway through. The battle was so small, I thought this was the precursor to another battle. I've seen bigger fights that that down my local pub. As the bad guy got away, taking my sword with him, I was assuming it wouldn't be long before we met in a final, actually big battle. I was thinking how I'd spend the coin I'd saved in preparation, how I need to go an repair all my armour. Then BAM, end credits and death metal music. Now I'm sat here in complete shock that the game finished there. I was expecting to sink a good 20/30 more hours into it, I didn't think I was anywhere close to the end and was stockpiling coin to gear up as the game moved toward its finale. Now I have a pointless stash of coin, and absolutely no motivation to play it whatsoever. I've got lots of side quests to do but that ending has really just sapped my motivation to play the game in all honesty. [link] [comments]
Where would i go in the game files to increase the number of NPC's in random encounters? Posted: 09 Jul 2020 09:54 AM PDT trying to find a way to increase the number of NPC's in random encounters, seeing that most of the Nexus mods are out of date. I was particularly found the "More Enemies - Extreme War zones" mod. It add up 60 NPC battles, sadly though it has not been updated. So i wondering if anyone knows of a place or way that i can increase the number of npc's in the game files. Thx in adv :D [link] [comments]
Posted: 09 Jul 2020 09:46 AM PDT So recently got the royal edition on EGS. Unfortunately seems I cannot get it to work. Tried verify, launch as admin, reinstalled EGL and KC, disabled AV, firewall did SFC... Nothing. Cannot find the answer anywhere and EGS support is sending me to warhorse now aka "we don't care". Has anyone have any more suggestions I should try? [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Jul 2020 09:30 PM PDT Hey there folks! So the constant blue skies downpour was a tad annoying. I'm from Vancouver, so I'd like to think I know what rainy weather looks like. 😃 So I downloaded the mod tools earlier today, and put together a very simple fix. It doesn't remove the blue sky, but it adds enough overcast to where the amount of rain on screen is believable. I'd like to add more varying weather patterns, but I'm still figuring that out. Unfortunately the time of day config is baked into the map itself. So you'll have to download a 400mb file for a change that is basically a few kbs in size. (Maybe this is why it was never "fixed" 🤔) If I end up developing this mod further, I'll probably create some sort of bat script that extracts level.pak, replaces the required file and repacks it up. I haven't extensively tested it, but it seems to work fine for me. Feel free to shout if it breaks anything. Since this does replace the entire level.pak there may be spooky game/save breaking bugs, but at least there's marginally more clouds in the sky when it rains! Posted: 09 Jul 2020 09:21 AM PDT Is it possible for Sir Kuno to survive? At the end of the fight with Hagen and his men, only Dangler and myself survived. [link] [comments]

Posted: 09 Jul 2020 08:01 AM PDT Hello all I'm trying to get the full house summer trophy. In my playthrough I slept with lady Stephanie then came back and reloaded from that quest end. I don't think it registered me sleeping with her. It also never gave me her shirt. Any thought guys would be appreciated [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Jul 2020 06:56 PM PDT Have over 200 hours in this game split up over multiple playthroughs, just wondering if there's any point in keeping a save if you've done all the main/side quests. On another note, what do y'all do after you've beat the main quest? Do you restart or continue to roleplay your completed save? [link] [comments]

Posted: 08 Jul 2020 08:26 PM PDT I'm confused by how the reputation system works here. Do I need to hide the bodies or something? [link] [comments]
Assassinating all the Tourney contestants - any bad effects? Posted: 08 Jul 2020 08:25 PM PDT They all have very sexy plate armor that the miller would love and I gotta pay rent somehow. However I've noticed a bug where the respawning guards would remember who killed their past iteration, even if you pulled a perfect stealth kill. So then will my Rattay Tourneys be closed forever if I kill the contestants? [link] [comments]
(Spoilers, From the Ashes) Guardhouse didn't come with weapons on the wall when I built it Posted: 08 Jul 2020 08:02 PM PDT I built the Guardhouse and upgraded it, but there are only shields on the walls. I have seen in countless videos and pictures that weapons also spawn on the racks. Does anyone know if they no longer spawn or is this a bug? [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Jul 2020 09:55 PM PDT The mission itself is awesome, but my frame rate drops to borderline unplayable levels the entire time I'm playing there (on Xbox 1, and apparently it's a super common issue for Xbox users during this mission). It's super disappointing because I know I would absolutely love doing my monk-ly duties while sneakily trying to investigate and get away with stuff on the side. Most of the other bugs I can deal with just fine because I love the game so much, but this is really, really bad. [link] [comments] |
