Would love a game about Henry's dad Martin the blacksmith origin his life before he settled in skalitz

    Posted: 08 Apr 2020 10:08 AM PDT

I would love to play as Martin during his many adventures he's been in wars and done other awesome things and I like how Sir Radzig mentions about his travels and says it would take awhile to tell that story

When you finally reach high levels and bandits decide to ambush you.

Got off my horse and briefly became a crab. Fortunately it was a loading issue and Henry managed to right himself after scuttling about on his arse for a bit.

How does combat work at a high level ?

    Posted: 08 Apr 2020 07:32 AM PDT

Trying to win the Rattay tourney and realized the only way I can win is to spend 30 minutes countering him at perfect time to hurt him, is this how you play the final match?

If you go for an attack you fail 99% of the time and probably get parried, 3-4 times you're dead, if I stagger him with F and go for an attack the game bugs out and can't even target him, combos don't work after 2nd attack in chain, what other mechanic is there?

Audio Issue with dialogue - characters sound like they're talking in an empty room

    Posted: 08 Apr 2020 06:47 AM PDT

{PC} I played Kingdom Come: Deliverance during a free weekend and didn't have this issue, I bought it during the sale and all the dialogue sounds like it was recorded in an empty room, you can hear an echo when they speak. I've looked at a few fixes but none of them have worked.

Has anyone experienced this before? Is there a fix for this?

    Favorite playstyle?

    Posted: 08 Apr 2020 03:36 AM PDT

What's y'all's favorite playstyle? I've played the game once through acting like a Knight no theft or killing so when surrendering enemys (minis the ones that would run away and bleed out) and half way through as an archer. Currently I'm playing a pretty murder hobo since i got all the dlcs finally. I still wont kill civilians but I don't let bandits and cumens give up anymore.

    Performance Questions

    Posted: 08 Apr 2020 06:53 AM PDT

I know it has been answered in the FAQ, but I want a little bit more detailed description from someone, who plays on PS4 Pro, like how well does the game run, framerate, bugs, and overall game quality on PS4 Pro.

    Thx and stay healthy, everyone.

    Realization about the intro

    Posted: 07 Apr 2020 08:56 PM PDT

I just realized at the intro, Henry's dad calls him a "blue blooded idler" and I just correlated it now to that nodding towards the reveal that your radzig's son. I don't know if it's just common knowledge that I'm just getting now but still pretty neat

Please stop killing and/or robbing the faint-hearted knight. I’m on my knees.

He's a really good guy, he's going through some family issues right now, since he can't live up to his fathers expectations and his mother won't talk to him as his brother completely outshines him. If you knock him out, but a few groschen on his body. Please.

    Urban at the Monastery Bug

    Posted: 08 Apr 2020 12:56 AM PDT

Anyone else having the issue of not being able to return the bowl and him calling you a thief and then the game being in a perpetual loading screen?

Initially after the quest I tried to return the bowl but there was no option to, I even crouched to see if that would work, but no. So I was like "well oh well, probably no big deal." Well nope, it causes a whole different issue. So yeah, anyone here encounter it?

    Also this is on PS4.

I hope the next game has seasons

    Posted: 07 Apr 2020 11:52 AM PDT

KC:D is a gorgeous game with a great plot, but it did strike me as a bit implausible that everything happened over a single summer. As Sir Robard comments, you go from an upstart kid to a serious warrior with major responsibilities, all in the period (it seems) of a couple of months.

Obviously, I'm willing to suspend disbelief, but it would be great to have seasonal change in the sequel. One way this could work nicely is if the game falls in three acts, spanning Fall, Winter, and Spring. It would serve a few other cool functions though.

First, it would be really pretty, and allow for the same familiar landscape to look different and interesting.

Second, it would make for some nice organic storytelling, insofar as medieval life revolved around the seasons and different times of year would place different burdens on peasant farmers (e.g., stocking up for winter, planting in the spring).

Third, it would help pace the game in a natural fashion. Sidequests could be divided into 'seasonal quests' and 'permanent sidequests', and the actual turnover of the seasons would be triggered by main quests with a warning. While this would fence off content a bit it would give players a good idea of when to do which quests.

Fourth, it would allow for some nice organic consequences to your actions; e.g., if you rat out some peasants to bandits and they have their crops raided in the Fall, then maybe come Winter they're starving to death. It would also allow the game to indicate the passage of time.

Fifth, it could go quite nicely with some more survival mechanics. I liked the relative unobtrusive way that hunger and energy were handled so far, and adding a temperature mechanic (like that in The Long Dark, though a bit more forgiving) could be great.

Finally, it would potentially allow Warhorse to make the game bigger without creating a massive intractable map. The idea of reusing the same map with updated content has been done a bunch of times by classic games (e.g., Ocarina of Time, Metroid Echoes) and it can work really well.

    Fun fact

TIL that if you're dressed as a cuman you can have a unique encounter where some farmers attack you thinking you're a cuman raider (they shout all sorts of insults directed at cumans when they ambush).
