Found a new cutscene spoiler for “the prey” Posted: 28 Mar 2020 09:49 AM PDT If you have a horse before you hunt with Capon you will be drug with him straight to the Cuman camp in a cutscene on your horse chasing the boar. Never knew that. [link] [comments]
Posted: 28 Mar 2020 09:18 AM PDT Hey all, I picked this game up about two weeks ago. I have avoided the story like the plague. Go ahead and call me dumb or stubborn or whatever but I had a great time so far. With me having Spring Break and university slowing down because of covid, I have dumped almost 60 hours into this game so far. I started the game thinking that I would be a gallant knight. I then became a thief in Rattay. Stealing anything I could. At first I was a smash and grab bandit. My first real heist was robbing the weaponsmith in Rattay. I lured the shop guard into the back room and choked him out, then I choked out the trader and stole everything. I slowly walked back to Peshek and sold what I could and stored everything else. I made a solid 1.6k at that point. I went back to town and had to pay off my bounty of around 160. So I made a huge profit. I kept thieving for a while and am now maxed out in stealth, pickpocketing and lockpicking. I bought a horse and some gear for it. At this point I was not going to be clean but I was going to do stealthy heists. I am now sitting on 25k groschen and started buying some real armor. I did some quests and am now liked outside of Rattay. I traveled the land and became better at combat. So I found the town of Pribyslavitz and was worried. That is quite a few Cumans. But I did it. I defeated all the Cumans and Bandits in Pribyslavitz before even starting the story. I will likely start the story soon as I dont have much left to do. While I have issues with the game: enemies spawning in and out in the middle of combat is easily the worst one. Regardless this game is really a good time and I'm glad I picked it up. After two hours to defeat a boss, I officially like this game (Spoilers for Baptism of Fire) Posted: 27 Mar 2020 10:52 PM PDT So far I've been kinda hot and cold with this game. Now I've played the quest Baptims of Fire (please no spoilers beyond this point) and I spent almos two hours (from 00:36am to 2:25am, yes, I checked after) to defeat Runt. And oh my god! I think that in my almos two decades of gaming, there's only ever been one other boss that made this with me. I honestly thought this was gonna be it for me since I don't like reloading from before quests and I would be done with the game. I looked online for tips, and most of them weren't doable to me due to my poor planning: 1 - Shoot him with an arrow -- Didn't like because it ruins RP but even if I did, I made the mistake of getting a perk that diminish my strength in 2 right before this quest and did not realized that the bow I had on me needed that strength. (It gives +2 speech though, but neither Runt nor Henry were in the mood to talk) 2 - Make sure you and your defense and weapons skill are at least level 8. My character was level 8, defense and weapon were 5. Because I'm Roleplaying and all the quests seem urgent so far, it didn't felt right or in character to get other quests, so to this point the only side quest I made was the one I took a bath with the noble dude. 3 - Use a mace. Great tip, this is the first game I do enjoy the mace... And because my character has so much agility, I was using a shortsword instead. Add to that I forgot to eat and my character was a bit hungry (the only food I had on me was spoiled) and I actually got a bit hurt -- not a lot mind you -- until I got to Runt and I kinda suck in any first person game, I really didn't believe in myself. And then I open the tutorial and there was teaching how to riposte and I practice, I died, and I practice on Runt so, so, so many times and I fucking learn how to Riposte (or something that looks like, I found online that I need to learn from the Captain which I didn't, but essentially I was riposting) and I defeated that bastard without losing blood once. Just standing in the middle of the room, waiting for him to attack me and then at just the right moment hitting in his stupid head! And I fucking proud of myself, I honestly feel like I got better, I learned a skill in-game. Not my character but myself and is not a lot of games that do that. I like this game now, is not perfect, but is damn good. Also, Henry got scaring in that cutscene after we defeat Runt, that's not how I'm playing him. Anyway, sorry for the long post, I have lots of adrenaline in me. Is 2:45am right now and I should be asleep but I was way too agitated and needed to talk to someone about it but, again, 2:45am. King Georges Sword Chest Unlockable? Posted: 28 Mar 2020 09:14 AM PDT So my lockpick skill is high enough to easily pick open any "hard" lock, yet the one in the garden in Ledetchko with St. Georges sword still says its too difficult. This is a second playthrough and want to give the OP sword a spin. Please help! [link] [comments]
slow running in transactions / dialogue? Posted: 28 Mar 2020 08:44 AM PDT when going between lines of dialogue when talking to people it's crazy slow! (PC, on SSD) especially when trying to haggle, it will exit the dialogue and sometimes take a full 5 seconds to enter the haggling minigame does anyone know of any workarounds to speed this up? or even a mod to cut out the "well, we can see" part of haggling? Posted: 27 Mar 2020 11:00 PM PDT I completed the tourney where you defeat Black Peter. Ever since then, he's been ambushing me, attacking me during quests, etc. I've gotten to the point where combat isn't difficult, but I simply can't survive his attacks. His poison completely drains my health, I escape and drink Marigold potions for health, eat food that gives health, etc. my health still drops and I end up dying. I don't understand what to do. Any ideas? I'm on Xbox btw. [link] [comments]
Posted: 27 Mar 2020 11:47 PM PDT I'm starting a new game in KCD during this wonderful time of isolation and I just shit-painted the deustch's house. Does Matthew it Henry then have a line in the following conversation where they say that Johanka has a sweet spot for Matthias. I swore they did, and it's driving me nuts. It's a small worry but one of those that gnaws at you [link] [comments]
Guaranteed bandit/cuman spawns? Posted: 28 Mar 2020 12:00 AM PDT I've mostly finished the game, stalling on Hans to do side quests and screw about. Is there any places that have guaranteed spawns for fights? The only two I know of are by miller Woyzeck's and in skalitz. JCBP! [link] [comments]
Posted: 27 Mar 2020 09:32 PM PDT I'm planning a second play through of the game and was wondering if I should play hardcore. It seems like it just makes everything more tedious and doesn't really add much to the experience. [link] [comments]
Posted: 27 Mar 2020 07:43 PM PDT I'd really like to recreate the outfit I assume Henry is wearing on the cover of the game, but Idk for sure what the clothes/armor he has on in it. If any of you have done it or know what it is, list the clothes and or a photo! [link] [comments]
Any mods that give you more bandit camps and things to spend money on ? Posted: 28 Mar 2020 01:24 AM PDT
Posted: 27 Mar 2020 03:59 PM PDT I've put over 81k groschen in the trunk and have gone to Marius and asked "let's Build", for some reason the only response I'm getting is "then you'll have to put the amount necessary for covering the costs," there's a bit of extra dialogue after but then the conversation drops. I'm playing on console and have limited saves is there a way to fix this or is my game bugged to hell? I'm on PS4 for anyone asking. [link] [comments]
How much storage space do you need for this game? Posted: 27 Mar 2020 02:28 PM PDT Why are there 2 different system requirements on the same game from from 2 different s websites. For example, steam says that you need 70GB for Kingdom come, but Gog says that you only need 30GB. Is Gog even accurate on this? [link] [comments] |
