    Kingdome Come Deliverance is one of my favourite games of this generation

    KCD has to be one of my favourite games of this gen. I think it had basically everything..a great story, fantastic characters (Henry is one of my favourite video game MC's, very relatable and human), quality side quests and a fun open world to explore. It made me really interested in Czech history as well.

    I think the only real flaws for me were how the story ended rather abruptly since it was getting really compelling at that point (I guess it makes sense to make a sequel instead of rushing the second half of the story though) and of course the bugs which were especially bad at first . I'm really hyped for KCD2, hope they expand on the good parts and fix the weaker stuff.

    Btw are the DLC's worth it? I wanted to start a second playthrough soon and was thinking about buying them

    I saw a lad speedrunning the game on YT and it showed whenever he got EXP (for jumping and sprinting for example) on the top right screen. Is that a Mod?

    Dodge should be easier to do

    I've had this game since launch and did not mind the lock picking and work hard at getting good, I also can do perfect blocks almost every time but dodge is not consistent. Any way to make it easier, I have the 50% easier to dodge perk but that shit don't help. I using stealth thief assassins build with stats.

    Took 118hrs to learn how to stab properly

    118 hours in the game and I'm JUST realizing that the direction of my stab is influenced by where I was holding the weapon. I was in the Rattay Tourney, pwning noobs as usual when I stabbed my opponent in the face. Now, this isn't the first time it's happened but I always thought the direction of the stab was random and usually I was just thankful for being able to take a good chunk of health off by shoving a blade in the dude's face. But, this time, I had raised my sword prior to stabbing and somehow dots connected in my head and I can now aim all my stabs at faces. This makes me happy but goddamn, why am I just learning this?

    Please tell me there are others who didn't know this so at least they can learn from me and my foolishness.

    Console command to force start a quest

    I've talked to Talmberg Innkeeper and he told me to speak to Nicholas to start "Hare hunt", the master hunter appears on the map with the side quest star but when i talk to to him i can either buy something or ask for training, no quest. Having played Skyrim I'm rather used to this kind of situation but i can't find anywhere the command to use to force start the quest.

    P.S: no, I haven't started the die is cast

    I finally came back to the game after quite a long time without playing and I have been really enjoying it except for one thing that I struggled with originally. Early on combat with more than one opponent is just impossible. You simply don't have the stats necessary to handle it. Obviously when placed in this situation you should run. If you can't fight someone just get out of there, but I have yet to successfully run away from a fight.

    The way the lock on works and how you break lock on makes it impossible to just pivot on the spot and run in the opposite direction. When you start to flee you almost have to start off running into your assailant. Even if I am able to start running in the opposite direction it seems like I am never fast enough. Even opponents in almost full plate are able to catch up and tackle me, get in 2 or 3 hits, and now I don't have the stamina to run away even if I was faster.

    Lets say I do make it to my horse. Odds are because the attacker is so quick they're just going to pull me off my horse anyway and there appears to be no defense against getting unmounted which in turn makes avoiding the combat from horseback difficult especially if there is no easy path off the road and around the slaughter waiting to happen.

    Eventually you will get the stats to handle yourself or at least have a fighting chance against multiple opponents, but I find that outside of grinding with Bernard the chance to increase your combat stats is rare because so many encounters and combats are typically 2 or more opponents.

    Optimal video settings?

    Hello, I've been recently getting back into KCD after upgrading my setup. After quickly testing, I can run Very High at around a constant 70 FPS with high loading distances, or Ultra High at 50 FPS with occasional stutters in the larger cities.

    Those of you more familiar with tinkering with the video settings, how can I optimize my performance while still having the game look good? Aka are there settings that don't matter much to how it looks but still take a lot of power or vice versa? My video card is a 2070, and no other components should be causing bottlenecks performance wise.

    Mythic Quest TV series is funny as hell and features quite a few shots of Kingdom Come

    Just finished the first season and loved it. Do not expect it to be realistic look at gamedev - it is anything but that - however the characters are perfectly cast with great chemistry and some sharp writing. And when the show wants to be serious - like in episode 5 - it handles it beautifully.

    Just be aware there is a huge RDR2 spoiler in episode 4 at 22:22 that lasts until 22:56 - so if you did not finish RDR2 yet, I would suggest skipping this scene.

    Game Wont Run

    Hi i Have problem yesterday i played for few hours no problem but today i woke up start game and nothing i have game on external HDD when i start game splash screen start but then hdd dont work and after KCD close HDD starts working again (sorry for bad english)
