This game is so great! [Spoilers kinda?] Posted: 03 Jan 2020 09:01 PM PST Just started playing this game a few days ago and believe me, I had my doubts. I got hooked immediately after beating up Kunesh with my Father. Now, this is where I just fell in love with this game; I had to get some wine for Stephanie and of course I had to enter that archery competition, and naturally, Henry is shit at archery. So I compete and obviously lose. The winner then laughs in my face about he's gonna drink the wine and I convince him to sell it to me for 170 gold. We make the deal and he starts walking away while laughing in my face. With the wine in hand I still feel defeated as now I only have 67 gold left to my name. That's when I decide to see if I can take back my money from the guy. As he's literally walking past the archery master, I sneak up behind and knock him out. Astounded that the archery master was none the wiser, I looted everything from that dude (including the 170 gold I just paid him for the wine) and then booked it outta town. I cant believe I was able to just goof that dude and get my money back. First time I did anything that risky and it was crazy! I love this game [link] [comments]
Does it matter if you lose sir radzig’s sword? Posted: 04 Jan 2020 10:29 AM PST Just lost the fight to the guy with the club and the game said you parted ways with radzig's sword. Does this matter in the long run? Does this happen to everyone? [link] [comments]
Posted: 04 Jan 2020 09:25 AM PST Hey I just started to play kingdom come and I was wondering; how do you fast travel? On two occasions I got the message: fast travel point discovered, but I don't see anything on the map?? Playing on xbox btw [link] [comments]
Spoilers for main questline! Scattered Pages - Can't turn it in? Posted: 04 Jan 2020 09:13 AM PST Spoliers ahead! I'm not one of the people who "accidentally" stole something from the monastery beforehand. I have all the ten pages, but when I talk to the librarian I can't seem to find an option to hand them into him. My quest log also makes no mention of me having collected them all, or any at all for that matter. It just says that I should be able to put it back together if I find all the pages. Is my quest bugged or am I missing something? Edit: As per the bots request, I'm on PC. [link] [comments]
Posted: 04 Jan 2020 08:21 AM PST I've only been playing a week, but there's something seriously wrong here. I keep saving money for gear and the money just randomly vanishes. Sometimes like 70%, sometimes all of it. Am I missing something here? [link] [comments]
PSA: save often for "A Ginger in a Pickle" quest. It can be buggy Posted: 04 Jan 2020 02:13 AM PST The quest is buggy. When you report to the charcoal burners after doing their task, if you report to someone other than who you originally reported to it will fail the mission and you'll be stuck. Also, it didn't give me the task of reporting to Sir Radzig mid-quest so Bernard got pissy with me. Also also, for some reason after I completed a good portion of the quest and had to report to Bernard, he was standing in a random part of the forest instead of where he should have been at Neuhof. How does Istvan Toth know Henry's lineage? Posted: 03 Jan 2020 10:42 PM PST I can't quite wrap my head around this - when Henry is being interrogated at Vranik, Toth says to Erik: "They told me - a foreigner, but they didn't tell him!" Who is 'they', and why would anyone tell Toth such a random fact? Don't tell me Radzig mentioned to him at Skalitz "oh by the way, that guy making my sword there, he's my bastard." Is the limit of self repairing 60%? Posted: 04 Jan 2020 04:00 AM PST I didn't know I needed to repair my armor and I've just killed the guy who stole Sir Radzig's sword. I have to spend 500 just on one item. Can I seriously not repair stuff below 60? How can I make easy coin? [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Jan 2020 03:53 PM PST Is there any good way to raise reputation with rattay citizens i have given away thousands of groschen and even payed indulgence yet it is still -58 [link] [comments]
[Spoilers: From the Ashes//Rattled] Zack or Master Ota? Posted: 03 Jan 2020 09:07 PM PST So I came across this quest and I'm curious now which side I should take. Apparently they both will give you a cuirass, but if you win Zach will come blacksmith at the village you're rebuilding and if you throw the match Ota will. I guess I'm wondering if there's a difference in performance? On the one hand throwing the match seems shitty, not too out of character for my Henry if the price is right but still not a first choice. On the other, Zach was into some shady business and Ota seems to be the better blacksmith according to the third neutral blacksmith who says he worked in major cities. Hell he's even titled "master." It sure beats having Zach and his shithead son who I had to beat up just a small time before. What'd you guys pick? Any disadvantages or advantages to either aside from rewards? Posted: 03 Jan 2020 04:28 PM PST Hey guys, I've been playing KCD for a few days now, I've realised that the game is pretty skill focused and it's great but I just want to clarify something. Is combat supposed to be a clusterfuck? Like, I imagine that it's pretty realistic. I can't imagine that men at arms or even knights would be fighting a smoothly choreographed fight so much as spamming a thing they know well and just flail at each other until someone's dead. But like, I can't shake the feeling that I'm missing something. I can win fights against most of the enemies I come across (although I feel my wins are mostly because of cheap tactics) but there doesn't seem to be an ounce of elegance in the combat. Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying combat but is it a careful skill of timing or more a "if it's dumb and it works, it isn't dumb" sort of thing? [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Jan 2020 09:06 PM PST LOve this game. Feel free to enjoy my playlist. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJUvuVc0Ix0&list=PLCN4bu8kCTnz1_T3C2XG3A5i0Na0dMWxc&index=91 [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Jan 2020 08:54 PM PST Everytime I save using saviour schnapps, when I go back to the save it loads and then exits back to the main menu saying "Game load failed". Anyone had this problem before? [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Jan 2020 10:54 AM PST Game still has some clipping issues, particularly with coifs. There is an extra stool in the second scene with Lady Stephanie in Talmberg, which has been bothering me for some time. Does anyone know of any mods that will address these and similar issues?
