The Woman's Lot DLC - do decisions matter? Posted: 16 Jan 2020 07:35 AM PST I once completed Teresa's story, but I lost my save before I could start Johanka's storyline. Now I'm back at it and have to complete the Teresa's story again, but this time I want to go full retard and basically make all the bad choices I can go for. The question is - will it affect Teresa when I'm done with the story? Will it affect Johanka's story? Or will it affect the reward I get upon finishing the quest? [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Jan 2020 06:49 AM PST I like this game so much but my laptop is having a hard time trying to run it. Is tried downloading those "ultimate performance mods" but it didn't change much, even made it worse. This is my configuration: Intel Core i7-5500U 2,4 GHz 8GB DDR3 1600 MHz AMD Radeon R7 M260 SanDisk SSD 480GB On ultra low low graphics (including 640x480 resolution) I get around 25-30 fps and 12 fps in Rattay of course. It is playable but it looks awful. Is there anything I can do or I will have to complete the fifth time already with these settings configuration? [link] [comments]
Why is "The House of God" so buggy? Posted: 16 Jan 2020 12:49 AM PST So, I've done this mission 4 different times, each time trying something new to actually complete it. I kill Zmora, and then go back to Talmberg, and talk to the Mason, then Divish, and I get nothing, not even reputation. Even though Divish says he will give me a reward. I think I know why, and it's because I didn't talk to the overseer to get rid of that stupid block, but it's badly designed, it should tell you to go talk to him, or at least it shouldn't break the mission to the point where I don't get jack, especially when it is such a time-consuming mission. All in all, I still have to see if the block is the problem or not, and this mission may just be completely borked. I like this game don't get me wrong, but this, along with the engine issues(like getting stuck in the map, or glitching through walls) make it so frustrating to play, the combat is great, and fluid, but this game is seriously way too buggy for a game that made millions, and still has this many bugs, after two years. Any help with how to actually complete this mission? Again, I like the game, but when small stuff like this happens over and over, it can be a bit soul-crushing to keep reloading and reloading until it actually doesn't break. [link] [comments]
Any tips for getting around on Hardcore Mode? Posted: 16 Jan 2020 05:50 AM PST I wanted to start on hardcore mode because I consider myself to be quite the Epic gamer, and thought that the difficult combat and having to get more food and such would be a breeze for me. But one thing I don't get is, how on earth am I supposed to find my way around with how the map and compass are? I have no idea how to navigate this world finding things and people in exact positions when the map is literally a fucking painting... If the map was a realistic map with details it would be fine, but how to I find my way around this detail-less illustration when the compass doesn't even help until I'm like 5 meters away from what I'm looking for? I struggled just to get through the skallitz part and I'm not sure if I should even bother conti using with hardcore because of this. Really wish hardcore mode was just everything except the map being useless, honestly I would take a 3rd curse/debuff at the start in exchange for a working map and compass. [link] [comments]
Permanently hostile shopkeepers/guards/NPCS? Posted: 16 Jan 2020 01:46 AM PST In Rattay and Sassau, there are some NPCs that are permanently hostile towards me. I presume it's because I murdered/stole at some point in the past and it bugged out by not resetting their hostile status after they died. Walking around Rattay, I'll sometimes randomly get attacked by guards/certain NPCs. When I try to surrender, they just walk away and don't attempt to arrest me. There's this one shopkeeper that always runs away when she sees me and Mutt always starts growling in the area. Just wondering if someone else has experienced this and managed to resolve it. It's not the end of the world but a little annoying. [link] [comments]

Is there a more recent "From the Ashes" guide for optimizing money? Posted: 16 Jan 2020 09:06 AM PST Hey there. So I'm not sure if the older guides still apply as I've noticed over time the game has updated and made things I've read from the past no longer be true (stealing Capon's St George sword, Magdeburg Sword from the knight, etc.) so I figure the same possibility for the DLC. Anyway, I'm basically just wanting a simple straightforward guide of what/who to pick to optimize my money. I've been making money recently for this DLC to the point I should have exactly enough to afford the entire DLC completely. For building preferences, I am thinking Armoursmith (I want the shield), Guard house (I want the bow & arena), and bakery (or butcher if it makes more money in the end). Thank you. Is there a place you can buy the full quantity of hare meat for Alex? Posted: 16 Jan 2020 05:02 AM PST What the title says. I'm complete ass at shooting a bow, and they want me to get 70 quantities of hare meat. I've gone to a butcher who only had like 15, which granted when I bought it did add to the total. But there was no option to give the partial total to Alex. Any merchants sell ridiculous amounts? [link] [comments]
The best random encounter near Skalitz I ever had. Posted: 15 Jan 2020 11:52 AM PST I went to Skalitz for some loot(bandit fight event guaranteed to happen there) and on the road just before the town I found a lonely Cuman standing next to the road. I smelled trouble, but approached him, then 2 others came from the bushes, and demanded my everything basically. I wrote down the whole conversation, because I was very curious about it. Then they just walked away. Or tried to. I stealth killed one, the other broke free from the stealth stab, and started to punch me with his remaining friend. I decided it's a good opportunity to level up unarmed, so I fought back... I was losing so I decided to pull out my axe, and managed to kill them because they continued to use their fists.
