    Will development really take years?

I'm not complaining at all, and I understand the importance of them taking their time. I was just wondering because it shouldn't take nearly as long as the first one because wouldn't they reuse their assets? Or are they completely remaking the game and not reusing any of the code or other things they've already made? Which if they did reuse, then they should only need to worry about refining and adding rather than remaking?

How do combos actually work in this game?

    Posted: 17 Oct 2019 09:13 PM PDT

After putting hundreds of hours into this game, I've become fairly adept at most combat situations. I've nearly perfected the art of perfect blocking and master striking, and thanks to that, I'm able to take on groups of armored enemies without too many difficulties, often not even taking damage. However, I've never been able to wrap my head around combos at all... and have some questions about them. It's probably my ignorance/lack of skills, but:

    1. Are combos even meant to be viable? As in, do they serve a practical purpose other than styling on low-level enemies? Bernard's become a totally trivial dueling opponent, but if I try to use combos in training against him, I just get master striked and injured.
    2. How can enemies perfect block, dodge, or sometimes master strike in the middle of combos you perform (thus interrupting them), but it's seemingly nearly impossible to do so when an enemy catches you in their combo?
    3. Do you have a greater chance of comboing by mixing up different combo attempts, rather than attempting the same one multiple times until it works?

    Kingdom Come 2 Spectulation

    Posted: 18 Oct 2019 03:25 AM PDT

So Warhorse studio is probably in the first development stage on a sequel to this awesome game. What new features/mechanics that you expect to be presented in it? Personally I think:

    • it will definitely continues where we left off of the first game, follow Henry's perspective again and finish off his storyline of avenging his parents.

    • bigger map, maybe 4 times bigger (what they tend to do nowadays with open world games). Much more details (16 times the details) in the world such as animals (domestic cats in towns and settlements, more dangerous wildlife) NPCs, points of interests etc

    • as Henry would be already well-established, combat will be much smoother and a little bit more fast-paced, but still as indepth as in KCD. We will be able to unlock much more cooler combos, combat moves. Combat and in-game animation will be made with motion capture, much like in The Witcher 3 and Red Dead 2, to make gameplay and cutscenes become seamless.

    • New weapons, including CROSSBOW (please I beg you Warhorse)

    • New survival mechanics such as camping & fishing.

    • Smithing and more indepth crafting system.

    • toggle third-person/first-person perspective.

    • better horseriding mechanics, one suggestion: maybe make your horse NOT STUCK IN A BUSH?

    • horse companion will have a perk section similarly to houndmaster, where you'll need to feed, take care, clean your horse (similar to Red Dead 2)

    • Please keep dog companion in the base game, it's an awesome and unique mechanic. And YOU CAN PAT YOUR DOG!

    • Human companion to take with you when you're free roaming. Would be cool if we could take Ser Hans out adventuring.

    • A DLC similar to Woman's Lot that explains Martin's past when he was in Prague (Henry's father) How he met his wife, Ser Radzig...

    Any more ideas and spectulation?

House of God side quest Bug

    Posted: 18 Oct 2019 10:25 AM PDT

Anyone else complete this quest and not get the groschen from Sir Divish and the reward from the stonecutter?

Playing on the latest version for PC. The cutscene shows Sir Divish saying you will be rewarded and the Quest completed but the groschen reward never popped up. According to various guides this reward should be around 700 groschen.

I cannot load my game. Whenever I start it up, I get the deep silver screen and nothing changes. I’ve been waiting for 10 minutes, I’ve restarted the game and my xbox.

DLC issues: The Amorous Adventures of the Bold Sir Hans Capon. How to start?

    Posted: 18 Oct 2019 03:51 AM PDT

I may have screwed myself out of this DLC. In the early game, I didn't do the Hans Capon side quests, and I didn't even think about it.

    Now I'm in the epilogue.

Is there any way to start the quests leading to and including the Robber Baron quest while Hans is at the camp at Neuhof?

I don't have to start a whole new playthrough to do this DLC, do I?

Zmola just says Leshek has confessed, and fled to Kuttenberg. So how the hell do I get him to meet me after dark?

    Anyone want to know anything?

    Posted: 17 Oct 2019 02:25 PM PDT

I've watched countless videos and put in over 700 hours to this game. I like to think I know almost all about the games mechanics and best armours etc. Anyone want to know anything? Drop a comment 😁

Can someone explain exactly how the master strikes work? I'm on my second playthrough and still haven't figured out how to do them without it being accidental.

Any of you guys wear armor just for the looks?

    Posted: 17 Oct 2019 07:04 PM PDT

I hate that all the armor pieces that looks really cool to me are actually of inferior stats. Those with higher stats just seem too plain and bland.

Game doesn't launch on GOG [BUG]

    Posted: 17 Oct 2019 12:25 PM PDT

I first started playing this game when it launched but I never finished it because of a game-breaking bug, yesterday I've decided to give it another shot and re-installed it on my PC but alas, I can't even launch the damn game! When I try to start it from Galaxy it gets stuck on the splash screen, never loading the game, and when I click directly on the .exe file in the game directory it gives me a "Failed to load the GameDLL! WH Game" error...

I must say that it's pretty disappointing to see that it still is unplayable so long after release.

    edit:[SOLVED]

I tried different methods and nothing seemed to work until I tried the following:

Go to the game directory (do not open the game from .exe file in the folder!) ---> Go into the "bin" folder ---> Go into the "Win64" folder ---> Open the game from the .exe file in the folder USING ADMINISTRATOR MODE (otherwise it won't work!) ---> And finally, after the the game is launched this way the first time, it will create the necessary files and you'll be able to launch it directly from Galaxy!

Hopefully this method will help those who are having my same issue!
