Gotta let all the new vendors know what's what

Was reading up on Cumans, and it’s probably just a gameplay thing, but I found it interesting that horses and cavalry were such an integral part of their culture, yet we only see them on horses once iirc, at the beginning.

Here is a full list of the Rattay Tourney Rewards

    Posted: 09 May 2021 01:57 PM PDT

I have run the Tourney 29 times and it seems like that after the 27th win that you again receive the rewards number 6-27.

Everything, that is worth mentioning (either unique or good equipment you cannot get from merchants) is in bold letters.

    1) Lords of Leipa gauntlets

    2) Lords of Leipa pauldrons

    3) Lords of Leipa hounskull

    4) Lords of Leipa chausses

    5) Lords of Leipa Cuirass

    6) Bouche Shield (Leipa emblem)

    7) Metal-plated battle axe (spiked crecent)

    8) Ceremonial mace

    9) Bailiff's mace

    10) Heavy Warhammer (the smaller one)

    11) Robber Baron's sword

    12) St. Michael's sword

    13) Noble's hunting sword

    14) Yew longbow

    15) Metal-plated battle axe (the decorated with a cross and flower)

    16) Captain's mace

    17) Raven's beak

    18) Razor

    19) Longinus' sword

    20) Yew huntingbow

    21) Ceremonial mace (again..)

    22) Stinger

    23) Magdeburg Sword

    24) Old family heirloom

    25) St. George's sword

    26) Noble sword

    27) Envoy's Aide-de Camp (a short sword with 19 charisma and the same handle as St. Michael's sword)

From here on the rewards seem to repeat again (Bouche shield, metal-plated battle axe....)

edited some numbers because I skipped one.

    Key To Secret Rattay Door

    Posted: 10 May 2021 05:58 AM PDT

So I just killed a Rattay guard and on him he had a key that was called Secret Rattay Door Key and the description was secret Rattay door key that won't stay secret for much longer or something along those lines. I was wondering if anyone knew where this secret door is or what can be found from it?

    Multiple Assassins in rocketeer quest?

    Posted: 10 May 2021 10:19 AM PDT

In the mission where you kill the assassin that is trying to kill keyser I noticed more than just peychar sneaking up. The charlatan was sneaking up as well. What was the reason the charlatan was there. I didn't get to investigate him I went straight for peychar.

Why can't I (get away with) murder(ing) people sometimes?

    Posted: 09 May 2021 06:04 PM PDT

I got caught stealing in a merchant's shop, killed him and his guard after a brief and noisy fight, and... no bounty. Nothin'. Got away clean -- because I silenced the only witnesses, I assumed.

Well, cool; but I didn't want to depopulate the town of merchants, so reloaded the game -- but filed that experience away under "Useful Knowledge" for later...

So now, a bit later, I have sworded a woman to death, in a single blow in her empty house at night, and... I have a fuckin' bounty. Every time, no matter how I play it.

What the fuck? How does this work? Is it random?!

    Help with Modding!

    Posted: 10 May 2021 06:02 AM PDT

    Hey all!

Got the game for PC after i finished on Console about 2 years ago, but i remembered that after about 15hrs of gameplay, you are god-tier, and can one-shot basically anyone, and also make tons of money, it felt a bit OP.

So i wanted to try some mods, a friend has the https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance/mods/651/

It's veryyyyyy goood, i tried the game with his PC, it's basically another thing, so i wanna do the same!

I followed the instructions, but the game just doesn't read the mods?

I downloaded it from nexus, created the "Mod" folder in the KCD files, and exported the Zip File in the "Mods" folder.

So now all the "zzz_Mod files " are in the mod folder, but the game launches with no mods?

I tried to erase the Mod folder, and copy in "Data" all the PAK Files, but still nothing.

I have been searching some video tutorials, and they all say to do the same thing, but i still can't play it with mods!

Thx anyone for some help! Can't wait to get back in KCD for a new modded playthrough, any help is welcome!

Here's some useless information, TIL weapons with your maintenance buffs retain them even when used by NPCs

    Posted: 10 May 2021 02:00 AM PDT

A bit of context. I keep a shitty seax broken to 0 durability for "honorable" duels. If I manage to knock out a tough opponent and make sure his buddies are gone, I like to haul him somewhere isolated and switch his weapons with the seax. I then wait for him to wake up before forcing him into a nice fair duel against me and my longsword.

Usually these don't last too long since the thing's awful defense stats mean they mess up sooner or later, but this one robber knight put up a good fight before finally going down. While I took almost no health damage due to the weapon being completely broken, to my surprise my chest armor was completely fucked up after our duel despite me only taking a handful of hits throughout. Exactly like what happens to enemies when using a weapon with Tin Opener, so maybe I'll switch it out for a broken Cuman saber from a random encounter...

Anyways, what other weird buffs seem to work on NPCs? Is it possible to buff somebody else with a bard or amor potion in their food for example? Or clothes you've improved with their corresponding maintenance perks?

My take on a Bailiff outfit [ANSEL]

    Posted: 09 May 2021 02:48 PM PDT

Daniel Vávra donated 100k Czech crowns (about 4 700 USD) to the makers of czech dabing for the game.

The game isn’t even close to perfect, but it really is a beauty sometimes, I’ve played the game for a Meer 2 days and I’m addicted to it
