Posted: 14 May 2021 06:10 PM PDT Ok this was entirely my fault but I had to tell someone. I was playing a dice game and I got like 4-5 ones. Instead of pressing y to gain my points and win (because that play had 4000 points worth of ones) I pressed x and played another round and I got a bust. [link] [comments]
What do you think of Vlad the Impaler in the second game? Posted: 15 May 2021 10:15 AM PDT I just recently thought about how cool it would be if Vlad was the antagonist of the second game or played some role in the story. Idk, he is just such an interesting historical figure and could be a really good villain. What do you think? [link] [comments]
Needle in a haystack quest lag Posted: 15 May 2021 05:12 AM PDT Xbox: This quest is almost unplayable due to the lag. It stutters all the time I've even looked up a walkthrough to try get through it faster but it's so slow that I've ground to a halt trying to get through it. Not asking for help just needed to rant! Posted: 15 May 2021 02:41 AM PDT Played through the game three times at launch but have not done any of the DLC, played hardcore, gotten the dog, etc. Was curious if there is any particular way that's best to approach it all in total. I think some of them are independent of the main game and launched from main menu and others are part of the main game? I'll be playing a fresh start and would like to catch it all as I go. Also, I've seen mention of video of Henry and von Aulitz dueling but can't seem to find out any real info about it. Is it from a DLC, or something else? That unresolved quest is still under my craw. Lol Thank you in advance! [link] [comments]
Posted: 15 May 2021 08:35 AM PDT New player here. i just completed the intro, maybe 2 hours in. I read something online about time sensitive quests. Now I feel kind of forced to do immediately every quest, especially the main quests, because I don't want them to fail and I am afraid to just go away somewhere and start exploring, trading, training, killing bandits etc. Can someone tell me if it's ok to just abandon main or side quests to go explore and do other stuff? And is there a list of time sensitive quests so I can avoid them or start them later in the game? [link] [comments]
(Physical PS4) How Much of a Download is There With All the Updates? Posted: 15 May 2021 08:26 AM PDT Good morning all. I had a quick question; I'm considering picking up a physical copy of KCD for the PS4 (my only way to play it currently). However I live in a very rural area of the US and my only source of internet is my 30 GB worth of hotspot data monthly via my phone. This usually is plenty serviceable for my needs. However I've heard that after the initial disc install of KCD there are several patches that are needed to download to make the game playable/enjoyable. I was curious if anyone could tell me what the full amount I'd be looking at having to download would be? Again, if it matters, I would have the game physically. I've been attempting to look up the information myself but can't really seem to figure it out. I truly appreciate any help! Thanks friends. [link] [comments]
PACIFIST INFO Knock out = Kill Posted: 15 May 2021 07:51 AM PDT Just an announcement for those who're doing the Pacifist achievement: there's a bug I've encountered several times after knocking out people that it kills them instead of knocking them out. This can happen when there's an obstruction between the place you knock them out and where they fall on the ground (doors, benches, generally indoor areas). I am playing on PS4 but I think this mechanic has nothing to do with platform. It happened to me around 10 times on one of my playthroughs where I went around with my buffed up level 20 Henry robbing and murdering everyone :D TLDR If you're playing as a pacifist, try to avoid knocking out as it can happen to be a kill instead [link] [comments]
Posted: 15 May 2021 06:57 AM PDT So in the activity "odd bird", I am stuck at the part where I have to fight the 4 brawlers. Because the moment I finished them all, they get back up and I lose that round. Also looting their armour doesnt help much, because you get beaten up 4 times as fast even with only knuckles and I am in full plate armour. What do I get if I somehow succeed. Is it worth it? Thanks in advance :) ! [link] [comments]
Posted: 15 May 2021 09:50 AM PDT Warhorse Studios had a chance of a lifetime to create a phenomenal game but instead they created a game that's half finished both story wise and performance wise. After the plundering of Skalitz, you're taken into the service of Sir Radzig and your main goal is to get back the sword and to most importantly avenge your parents but the Bandits are in your way and thus you kill most of them (with the notable exception of Istvan Toth who takes off with your sword!) and you're now this Neo-Noblemen on your way to finally start your journey of redemption as you travel to Trosky Castle alongside Sir Hans Capon and it ends right there. Nothing has been accomplished, you didn't even get back your sword! The only thing that you somewhat accomplish in the game is defeating the bandits and you still weren't able to retrieve the sword. The whole game is just a prologue to a sequel who's existence isn't even confirmed. Speaking of sequels, why aren't they opening up about it? Don't they realise that the ending will be more welcome if they announce or tease the sequel? I alongside 90% of the community don't want to wait 5-6 years for the continuation of the story so they better announce something in the upcoming E3. Now let's talk about the other aspects of this game which makes it bad. Bad voice acting - the voice acting can be good but it's mostly bad especially outside of pre-rendered cutscenes and for the love of god stop using one actor for to voice 5 individual characters. Terrible performance on consoles- Did they even test this game for consoles? I hope not because there must be a serious problem with humanity if someone thought that this was acceptable. Bad AI - The AI is stupid and NPCs feel dead. [link] [comments]
Miller Peshek lock picking gone Posted: 14 May 2021 05:53 PM PDT I started the activity where miller Peshek teaches you to lockpick at the start of the game and then accidentally left the activity. Now when I talk to him the option isn't there. Is there any way that I can restart the activity? [link] [comments]
Posted: 14 May 2021 04:52 PM PDT Pretty simple question that may not have a simple answer: How is the archery damage calculated? Bow skill only cares to explain that the higher the level, the more damage it cause, but with no values or references it's often difficult to know if you're really improving in this skill. Also, adding to the topic, with a decent collection of bows and arrows, how do they influence the final "damage" you cause? Like, it's something direct as (BowDmg + ArrowDmg)(1+Bowskill*0.1) or would it be something way more complicated? [link] [comments] |
