Is there any downside to stealing? Assuming you don't get caught?

    Posted: 02 Feb 2021 08:32 AM PST

    Hello everyone,

Is there any consequence of just stealing everything (assuming you don't get caught). I.E. If you steal all the soldiers weapons and gears, will there be any issues in story/gameplay? Or can I just rob the town dry with zero issues (again assuming I don't get caught).

Additionally, is there any issues knocking people out? I.E. Knocking out sleeping people to rob from them?

Guys, I need help with combat (What a surprise right?).

    Posted: 02 Feb 2021 10:57 AM PST

Now before I begin I have to say I think combat is good, it should be challenging. Though it can get frustrating real soon if you are not ready to die and go back 3hrs in progress.

However that is not really my problem, the problem is that I don't know if I'm missing something or I fucked my build or what?; but enemies are behaving kina weird.

Now I thought it was just THAT hard you know life or death kinda deal, so I went on YT to learn how to fight and I noticed something strange, enemies in those videos act like well, human beings facing you in a duel, they move cautiously, prepare a stance (which then you can counter) and then attack in a matter that you can respond to. However in my game enemies just rush me as if I was a hot waifu cosplayer in an anime expo. they will run and I mean RUN, so fast that I sometimes brack off sprinting and they will surround me in seconds, then they don't really face me they more like run circles around me which means I can't even dream of locking cause by the time I locked on someone two of them are bludgeoning me in the ack of the head.

I also noticed that in those videos there is some sort of slow-mo when either is about to hit as in a "quick time" fashion which I've never experienced, I've seen it once or twice when by a miracle I manage to perfect block an attack which happens in lightning speed I don't know if I am this bad but I can't even see where the attack is coming from (the star).

Soooooo I was just wondering, am I just that bad or is there something wrong with my game or build?

Is there any way to play this game with minimal combat?

    Posted: 01 Feb 2021 11:39 PM PST

I know the community can get a little defensive when people question the combat, and I understand that - by no means do I think it's a bad system, in fact I think it's unique and for those who love it, I can definitely understand why. But I just... don't. It probably doesn't help that I have a decidedly average PC that gives bad frame rate even at the lowest possible settings (thus putting me at a disadvantage in any battle), but even without that I just never could get into the combat. I die constantly to almost anyone even after getting to Bernard and putting in a good deal of time. Nothing against the system, I'm just not good.

But so far, from what I've been able to do, this game is something I really want to experience. The setting, the characters, the story are all really engaging and compelling, even with my shitty frame rate haha

So, is there any way to limit the amount of combat undertaken in the game, or even just tips to make it even a bit easier? I've had it shelved for awhile but saw a video about the game that reminded me just how much I want to finish it. If there isn't, I'll just have to try and get through it anyway, or maybe keep it shelved at least until I can buy a better PC.

    Herald not spawning (PC)

It seems like he's somewhere around the arena, the map points in the exact same spot but he's not there. I removed all mods, steam checked integrity local files, loaded previous save file, he's simply not there and all the fighters are waiting outside the arena... help?

How long until I'm not wanted anymore?

    Posted: 02 Feb 2021 05:30 AM PST

Hi, I didn't like the guards of Rattay so I decided to assassinate 4 of them under cover of darkness. Then I murdered a beggar because I heard you could get Who Needs A Key II from them. Then I brawled and killed all 3 people in the "Do Me A Favor, Punch Me!" quest because I felt like it. Then I ran to one of the small houses in the outskirts of the city to kill two people, I did it but I had to chase one of them down a few steps away from their house to kill them. They successfully raised the alarm though, somehow.

So in total, I killed 10 people. I've been completely absent from Rattay though for 8 days now and they're still after my ass. How long do I have to wait until that red jail symbol goes away from Rattay? Also, How high is the speech stat of the Guards because with all the buffs I could find, I got mine all the way up to 21 and I still couldn't persuade him to fuck off.

    Posted: 01 Feb 2021 06:25 PM PST

Hi ppl, am new to the game, and ive been enjoying it a lot. i have a few thousand of money and i wanna buy a nice sword. I found out about the st. George's sword, but i cant find the chest where is supossed to be. My question is, do i need to read the treasure map before for the chest to spawn? Or am i just blind?. And what other swords are good? Sorry if my english is not too good, greetings from Chile. Ps: I also found out that that sword changes location a lot, maybe in my version is not there? I have the 1.9.6 version, i think, am not quite sure.
