Anyone else hoping for Hussite Wars in KDC2?

    Posted: 15 Jan 2021 05:52 PM PST

15 hours in and this is already better than any Elder Scrolls game I've played.

    Posted: 16 Jan 2021 12:44 AM PST

This game is like oblivion on steroids and I'm loving it. Got the game with all the DLC's for 12€ on ps4, couldn't he happier with this.

One of Talmberg's themes. Jesus Christ be praised!

Made it to Rattay, now what?

    Posted: 16 Jan 2021 06:57 AM PST

I seriously suck at this game. But it's a blast! As an oblivion lover, this game is wonderful. But it's also hard as fuck. I'm on PS4 FYI.

So I'm wondering, what should I start focusing on to make it easier? I made it to rattay and I know this is when I can start focusing on grinding, but idk where to start! Who can train me in sword fighting? How much will it cost me? What's the best way to grind the money I need to become a sword master so I don't get fucked every time I fight (seriously, the only way I've been able to successfully win sword fights is by backing up constantly and stabbing like a pussy for ten minutes straight).

Where can I learn to read? Where can I learn to fix up my gear? How can I make lockpicking easier??

Yeah, I know I could look up a walkthrough, but stirring discussion from passionate players is way more fun to me!

Bad Frame rate drops inside the Monastery!

    Posted: 16 Jan 2021 09:35 AM PST

Ok so.. today I started the Monastery mission, I play on the original Xbox One, in some parts of the Monastery my the frame rate drops so much! I would say it drops to like less than 18 frames, is this common on old hardware?

    Location of captive bandit

    Posted: 15 Jan 2021 09:01 PM PST

For people in the future who get stuck on the quest where you have to dig the grave of the supposedly dead bandit and collect the letter thats on him but you find a pile of logs on top of the grave... Fear not... It seems to be a bug. The captive is still alive in a barn and you can stealth knock him out or kill him and take the letter. He's in a barn that has a door. It's not hard to find. The location of the barn is south of the mini creek that is right in the middle of the town.

The reason for this bug likely has to do with failing the Pestilence side quest.

    Happy hunting

    GTX 760 vs PS4 pro

    Posted: 16 Jan 2021 03:17 AM PST

Im debating whether to give this game a go on my PC i7, 16gb ram, GTX 760 or on my PS4 pro. I know the PS4 pro has a better GPU than the GTX 760 but some games still run much better on my PC (recently bought the evil within for PS4 Pro but it was horrible, then bought it for PC and it was perfect). Since the reviews are much metter for Kingdom Come on PC than on PS4 im worried that the same apply here.

At your service, my lady bug?

    Posted: 15 Jan 2021 11:07 PM PST

So I'm doing the quest for to retrieve all the items for lady Stephanie, and i got the stone for the guy to make the crown, went back a day later and the crown wasn't ready, I was bored to I pickpocketed him a couple times, got caught eventually, I paid the fine but now whenever I walk up to him he runs away and I no longer have the option to talk to him, only to pickpocket, it's been a few in game days, will the option come back eventually? I keep getting the alert in the top corner about people being mad at you, but the dude literally just runs away and there's no option to talk. I would like to finish the quest, and really don't wanna lose 6 hours of progress or so trying to load an old save, please help!

Edit: I saved before and let him run away and tried killing him to see if I could loot the crown and that didn't work, I just got the Quest Failed Notification

    Combat help

    Posted: 15 Jan 2021 08:49 PM PST

Ok what am I missing, I practice with Bernard, I learn all the tricks, combos , master strikes, perfect blocks and so forth, every single time I fight somebody I either die eventually or win through pure luck, every attack is blocked or parried by the enemy perfectly, the combos don't work, and even when I land a perfect block and counter they just counter back and I legitimately have no idea how to improve. I'm still relatively early in game, still investigating the Neuhoff raid, but I think by this point I should have it down more than I do, please help me!

    Posted: 15 Jan 2021 04:14 PM PST

    Question about Miller Peshek

I'm desperately trying to find the actor's name who stars Miller Peshek -or 3D modelled after- but I cannot seem to find anything.:( Not even wrong names, there is just no name! I even messaged some mods here but no one replied my questions. Do you guys have an idea who the actor is? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance! Hava a nice one!:)

First playthrough, question about historical authenticity.

    Posted: 15 Jan 2021 09:30 PM PST

This is my first time ever playing KCD, and I just barely reached the title card (also wtaf that took so long lol). I know this game has a reputation for creating an authentic experience for it's time period. And that alot of characters you can meet are REAL people, a historian's dream. But I have one question about Henry and his family and friends in Skalitz. Was Henry a real person? I would be very suprised if he was, but at the same time I have a feeling that IF Henry really did exist, that his story probably would've been lost to time...

In any case, I love this game and I'm pretty mad I didnt get it sooner.

    Polearm inventory bug

    Posted: 15 Jan 2021 05:43 PM PST

(PS4, Royal Edition) Hey so while I was farming for groshen by returning to Skalitz and looting bandits, I've learned that mounted combat is far easier with a pole arm and that if I travel with that pole arm to Talmberg and speak with the blacksmith, it'll enter my inventory. When you speak with the blacksmith asking to trade when you come out of the dialogue you'll be holding your torch in place of the pole arm. If you look in your inventory it will still be there. To access it just drop it then pick it up again. Hope this helps anyone grinding for Pribyslabitz!
