No reward for robber baron side quest Posted: 25 Dec 2020 05:52 AM PST Raided the camp with Bernard. They all died but ai managed to kill the 3 or 4 bandits that were left along with that leader. I talked to both Bernard and Hanush. I got the achievement and the quest is completed, but I didn't get anything. On the wiki it says I should get the magdeberg cuirass. I didn't get anything tho. I'm playing on hardcore on PC [link] [comments]

What other games are that are similar to this game? Posted: 24 Dec 2020 12:08 PM PST The emersion in this game is amazing, the sounds, the first person perspective, the beautiful scenery, and the attention to detail. All of that warped in a good story. I need more game like that. Any recommendations? [link] [comments]
Posted: 25 Dec 2020 01:53 AM PST My game is showing up on my TV with the very outer edge clipped off. It's not too bad but it affects stuff like playing dice and the map. Is there an option or a way to adjust the display so it fits? It's not the T.V. This Is the only game that does it. [link] [comments]
Question about 'Trial-and-Error' and 'Bookworm' Achievements... (SPOILERS) Posted: 25 Dec 2020 12:28 AM PST I am at the point in my playthrough where I have the opportunity to learn how to read from the scribe in Uzhitz, which will help me in obtaining the 'Bookworm' achievement (which requires Henry to have read at least twenty books). However, I have read that completing this makes the achievement 'Trial-and-Error' in the From the Ashes DLC unobtainable (as it requires Henry to be completely illiterate when he restores Pribyslavitz). My question is, does this mean it is only unobtainable in this playthrough, or will it be unobtainable completely regardless as to whether I start another playthrough (which I intend to do on hardcore mode after finishing this playthrough)? I know I could just complete the DLC first, get the 'Trial-and-Error' achievement and then learn how to read, but I would prefer not to do this if I can help it as I do not wish to start the DLC just yet. Posted: 24 Dec 2020 06:22 PM PST So I have read many comments and several videos on youtube and I must say; boy is lockpicking in KCD HARD,at the very beginning. When you level up to level 3 you can get more durable lockpicks as a perk. After this, lockpicking gets more fun :). [link] [comments]
Consequences for failing Waldensians quest? Posted: 24 Dec 2020 05:13 PM PST I got the quest then kinda forgot about it, then hours later it say i failed the quest. Don't really wanna waste the hours of gameplay I had, but are there any consequences for failing the quest? (unable to access other quests etc.) [link] [comments]
Is it me, or do sword combos suck ass? Posted: 24 Dec 2020 11:38 AM PST Title. Every time I try to pull them off against an opponent I might actually need them to beat, they just instantly counter one of the long chained commands I need to actually pull the maneuver off. I've never successfully pulled a combo attack off against a skilled enemy, and I always resort to the good ol' St. Michael's face-stab-a-roo, which seems to work wonders. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to prevent an enemy from countering you? [link] [comments]
Posted: 24 Dec 2020 05:19 PM PST like if you for example steal a book, read it, and put it back in the container [link] [comments]
Ran into dead end on "My Friend Timmy" quest. Posted: 24 Dec 2020 01:11 PM PST Hi, relatively new player here. In the "My Friend Timmy" questline, I got his location from Mirka at the windmill, and when those pesky bandits came I told them where he was. They went and killed Timmy and the quest prompted me to speak to the leader. For some reason I didn't speak to him and now the quest objective says to find the bandit camp. There is no map marker (it's definitely set as shown) and I don't know what to do. Please send help, I think I'll cry..... btw any help is appreciated. Thanks! [link] [comments]
Is there any way to stock up on lockpicks before beating The Good Thief? Posted: 24 Dec 2020 04:22 PM PST It's my first time playing and I'm trying to practice lockpicking, but I need to beat the lockpicking quest line to be able to buy more picks. I broke all the ones I have and didn't even gain 1 skill level. How the hell are you supposed to beat this quest? [link] [comments]
Posted: 24 Dec 2020 03:48 PM PST does anyone know how many of them you can obtain? I have three currently [link] [comments] |
