So I finished From the Ashes DLC Posted: 02 Dec 2020 07:31 AM PST The church is still looking like a pile of planks after all the improvements. The interior is neat, with all the wall paintings and altar, but outside it's like an abandoned ghost house. Is it supposed to look like that? [link] [comments]

Posted: 02 Dec 2020 06:53 AM PST Just got this game and I'm gonna dig into it this weekend. I'm the type of gamer that will completely ignore the main storyline to grind and do side quests as soon as the game sets me free to roam. Any suggestions on where I should start? What I should or shouldn't do? I'm hoping this game will be a slow burn that'll last for a few months so I welcome any and all grinds. [link] [comments]
So I just finished the Prologue... Posted: 02 Dec 2020 11:11 AM PST I just finished the Prologue (I guess it was the Prologue cause there were a bunch of names at the end) and I basically know nothing yet lol. I know the very basics of sword fighting, the basics of persuasion, the basics of nourishment/energy and that's it. Will I learn about perks/reading/alchemy/equipment/etc soon or am I supposed to already know this stuff? I levelled up in main level and strength a few times and I got perk points, should I invest them? Should I wait to get a tutorial about character development or something? I reallly love the idea of this game but it seems so hard so far... (and I don't mean hard as in dificultat, I know it's supposed to be difficult but I mean hard as in hard to understand). Posted: 02 Dec 2020 07:28 AM PST I have looked it up and apparently he can, but does he ever come back to life? I heard he does, but is that true? How useful is he? [link] [comments]
Bar fight with Father Godwin (PS4 Posted: 02 Dec 2020 12:51 PM PST I'm on the Mysterious Ways quest and I can't convince the priest to spill the beans about Limpy Guts. I follow him to the tavern and that scene turns into a fight after being thrown out. Now, since there's about 8 guys fighting us, I can't seem to help the priest so I apparently fail and he literally disappears and my quest is set back to "Ask around about Limpy legs" (this is after I best up the bailiff) I don't want to ruin my reputation or have pay fees. Do I have to fight? What am I supposed to do here? Should I have selected "I'm done drinking"? Help plz. [link] [comments]
Earl Tier backer, Access to the DLC Posted: 02 Dec 2020 11:31 AM PST Hi So, I am an Earl Tier backer. I played the game a bunch when it came out. Then took a break. Now I want to play through the DLC's but when I click on them in Steam and add them to my cart it looks like they want me to buy them. I thought Earl Tier backers got all the DLC included. What am I doing wrong or what am I missing? My Steam account is linked (or was) with KCD. Thanks [link] [comments]

Confused as to when to stop Main Quest? Posted: 02 Dec 2020 10:30 AM PST I've seen from a lot of people that a good place to stop and do side quests is before Nest of Vipers or even at Neuhof. To me that seems kind of early, especially as i've heard that From the Ashes should be done along the length of the whole game, during side quests, etc. But you don't even unlock that DLC till Baptism of Fire? Should I just do SOME side quests, just enough to be strong enough/geared up for Den/Baptism, then do a crapton more side quests, rebuild the town, then more main quest, more side quests/rebuilding, finish? Then I need to know the point that I should not go past based on story pacing. What main quests should I leave for the end end end of the game? Especially being that beyond story pacing, some quests will fail or have bad things happen if you wait. If this was any other game I wouldn't care, as usually those games telegraph when you can roam, when the points of no return are, and generally don't have timed quest starts. (I TOTALLY LOVE IT THOUGH) For reference, I just finished Uzhitz, learned how to read, about to search for Reeky. Just bought Warhorse Jenda (lol, stealing gets you far REAL QUICK) and got the saddlebags from Neuhof race quest, lol, I feel like a god zooming across the map, most of my stats besides lockpicking, stealth, and speech are pretty low though. Game of throws. Who killed Alphonse? Posted: 02 Dec 2020 08:33 AM PST I am playing the quest and have managed to beat all the guys at dice and win back the necklace. But I still have no clue who killed Alphonse and am curious to know who did it. [link] [comments]

Posted: 01 Dec 2020 09:17 PM PST I'm having a recurring encounter while manually travelling. There are two groups fighting, Cumans and what seems to be bandits (both hostile on sight). The Cumans always lose and I get ganged by 4-5 well armored bandits. Was I supposed to take them on at level 5? I feel I'm well armored (full mail, etc) and have a pretty decent grasp of combat, however, managing five guys feels almost unfeasible. Moreover, if I preemptively strike the bandits, I lose reputation. Is this a bug? [link] [comments]
Posted: 01 Dec 2020 06:09 PM PST Is there meant to be an attack opening after a perfect block? The slo-mo would make it seem like it's promting you to start counter attacking, but every time I perform a perfect block the enemy immediately blocks before I can even swing my sword. I understand it takes less stamina to perfect block, but is that all it's for? [link] [comments]
Second playthrough on hardcore with all perks. Just beat Nest of Vipers and Baptism by Fire. Posted: 01 Dec 2020 10:44 AM PST Feeling pretty good. This is the part I was most concerned with being able to beat, but it's not actually too hard with a bunch of saviour schnapps and patience. I managed to poison all the food in the camp and destroy all stocks of arrows, and was able to beat the battle on my second try and Runt on my first try. Went a lot better than my first time on normal. I guess it helps to be prepared. I think most of the game should be smooth sailing from here. Currently trying to get through Pestilence without triggering any bugs, if that's still a thing. It's been a while since I picked this up. Hardcore Henry is really the way to go. Can any one tell me why they thought random encounters during fast travel was a good idea? Posted: 02 Dec 2020 12:24 AM PST Now don't get me wrong, I've played the original fallout games so I understand the concept of cell based movement etc etc. Especially a game like Mount and Blade, where the game play can essentially be quantified as "fast traveling to the next random encounter", but at least if, you say, get slaughtered by a bunch of bandits you don't just outright die. I'm disappointed because rather than having a unique interaction with each bandit or random encounter I come across in KDC the whole thing gets reduced to "Oh great, I get to waste my time collecting subpar loot" or "Great, my last save was an hour ago, fuck" [link] [comments] |
