- Just died in hardcore from dismounting a horse at Rattay mill, right before a save. After questing for 2 hours. This is fine.

- What free points do you guys take in the beginning of the game?
- Have they patched Runt to crash your game if you cheese him?

| Have they patched Runt to crash your game if you cheese him? Posted: 11 Sep 2020 08:39 AM PDT Im struggling to fight Runt hand to hand (under leveled I think) so I followed a suggestion to just use the bow & arrow. I hit him once in the head, the game goes black to transition to cutscene, then my whole game crashes to the home screen (xbox). This has happened twice now! (Edit: 5 times now, this has to be intentional?) Its infuriating, because it takes me multiple times and deaths to land that shot on controller (the load times on xbox are annoying). The first time I excused it as a random crash.. the second time it almost feels intentional. The game doesnt freeze, it just completely closes down. [link] [comments] | ||

Did Radzig tell every noble who visited him that he had a bastard son? Because the way Istvan said it in that cutscene makes it sound like it was a well-known fact. [link] [comments] | ||

| Corrupt save file ruins this game Posted: 11 Sep 2020 05:57 AM PDT Not gonna lie, I love this game and everything about the story to the events and world. But I just know that after all these years out warhorse not fixing this problem I'll never buy a game from them again. I've just spent 7 hours replaying the same over and over and over. From the one save file that works which throws me in the horse racing event in Tamlberg right in the cut scene so no escaping it gotta either do it or fail it. And to no avail, no amount of save slots, savings with snaps or sleeping saves managed to save my game. Been playing for three days now instead of doing the last main quests I'm going around doing side quests and all. But back to my rant and problem... 7 hours doing the same quest over and over. So this last time, I manually saved on all available slots on intervals of 30 minutes. Now I've died and because all the saves didn't load I literally have no game... I would have expected someone to eventually fix this problem of save files since the problem has been persistent since release date way back when I bought it. I was never getting object pop in before yesterday, and I rode into a building that wasn't there and got knocked off my horse. Is it just me? Any advice? | So, uh... I think I just skipped a bit. Posted: 10 Sep 2020 01:15 PM PDT Bought the game a few days ago and have been (mostly) hooked to it since. Were currently chasing some counterfeiters and were following leads Sasauin when I met this young fellow who missed his mistress, so I, beeing the boring galant knight I always am ride to the rescue. While riding around in the hill in the dark of the night searching for the Damsel in Distress (I were totally not lost) I accidentaly ride straight into a fairly large bandit camp. My damn horse throw me off the saddle in the middle of 8 or so well armed fellows who immediately swarms me like pigeons around breadcrumps. Some farily hectic and not at all panicked fighting later I stumble victorious through their camp and sees a mineshaft. Thinking it might be an shortcut to my destination I galantly drag my bruised and bleeding body through the mines. A fair bit in (I were totally not lost again) I suddenly hear voices, turn a corner and stands face to face with the damn counterfeiters I were searching for... Suffice to say it seems I skipped a part of the quest, and wonder if I have missed anything important in my suddenly shortened investigation? TL:DR: Found the counterfeiters while searching for Esther, did I miss anything in the investigation worth seeing? [link] [comments] | ||

| Why can't I delete my saves in-game? Posted: 10 Sep 2020 12:11 PM PDT Be it in the middle of the game or in the menu screen I cannot delete my saves, I press X and confirm but nothing happens, I have already deactivated steam cloud sync as several people suggested me, the only way I can delete my saves is directly from the game files. | Posted: 10 Sep 2020 10:23 AM PDT I focused on main quest. Up to Baptism of Fire, managed to get past the first lot and the archers, stuck on Runt. I have a sword that my skill level is too low for, so it reduces the effectiveness. Ive done some training at the sword training area but didnt waste hours there because I like the actual story, and want to experience it, not grind. My gear is low level basically. I.googled ways to beat runt and it says to use archery. 1. Archery on console controls like shit. 2. He runs at you so quick and spams.combos in what seems unfair. Literally get stuck in a loop Of getting hit animation with no chance of running away. What im asking is, with all these handicaps, can I still beat him by parrying? I absolutely love the style of the game and the story but I'll be honest the combat is the worst part for me. Feels quite random on what will land (or getting hit yourself) and once you get hit by runt you get hit multiple times. He's constantly closing distance so I cant even get comfortable.
