There's something wrong with the subreddit.

Why isn't there a bot that autoreplies "God be with you!" or "Jesus Christ be praised." to every new post?

After 200+ hours i finished the main and most of the side/activities quests with a self imposed no fast traveling rule, this is my total distance traveled.

No, I'm not a knight, I just killed a bandit and stripped him.

Love how people went to calling me "Scum\poor" to "knight" without questioning where i suddenly got plate armour.

Am I only the one who didn’t care when you found about the truth between Henry and Radzig

    Posted: 13 Aug 2020 07:08 AM PDT

I mean seriously he just kinda seemed like a dick to me when you figure he's Henry's dad at least Martin the blacksmith had the balls to take care of Henry

Quick question, Which of the 4 main skills do you prioritize? And why?

Not all those who wander are lost... But I definitely am. AKA when you load an old hardcore mode save.

    Mod that nerfs bow stagger?

    Posted: 13 Aug 2020 06:16 AM PDT

Is there one? I see many mods that make bows which are already OP even better, but I don't see any that actually improve them. You basically can't lose if you just back pedal and shoot even against a group of enemies... it's absurd.

I had the opportunity for a quest, ignored it, and now I can't find it

    Posted: 12 Aug 2020 12:23 PM PDT

I was in Rattay just after arriving there, early game. A villager with a red shirt and I think red hat was heading toward the church, and I spoke to him. He had just been in a fight with his wife i believe, and there was an option for Henry to help. My charisma was super low, so i didn't click on it because I didn't want to auto fail. Now I go back to rattay much later, after pribyslavitz, and I can't find him or trigger that option. I thought it was Conrad, but never speaks about an argument again. Did I miss this, or how can I find it?

Today the game just hooked me. Now it won't let go.

    Posted: 11 Aug 2020 08:08 PM PDT

I've been playing this game since Saturday, for the first time, and today I'm almost at 11 hours. From the start the game offered something... different. Peculiar. But today it just knocked me off.

So far I have had no problems with most mechanics. Combat flowed naturally, archery has been a little bit of a pain, and not long ago I discovered that lowering the DPS of the mouse can help A LOT while lockpicking. Fingers hurt a little bit when I gallop, but that's fine.

But the story and the characters, they slowly grabbed me. Out of nowhere I began to empathize with Henry. He's just so likeable, so naïve, so... good gracious, I want to help this son of a blacksmith to actually become someone in these medieval times. He and his dumb quest somehow make sense to me, and I want the best for him.

But what happened today made me love this game. I started playing the A Woman's Lot DLC. I managed to defeat Henry at swordplay and seconds later I was screaming like Ned Flanders when he sees purple drapes That scene was beautiful. And later on, when Theresa goes to the party and sees that everyone is happy and she's not, it broke my heart a little bit. I haven't gone beyond that part, though, so no spoilers.

I don't know how this game made me empathize with them. And I don't care. That's motivation enough for playing this game, even if I, on the future, struggle with the mechanics or other well-known problems of this game.

    End of "rant".

    Epic Games cloud saving?

    Posted: 12 Aug 2020 03:41 PM PDT

So I recently got a new PC, and I want to reinstall KCD after playing it on my laptop using GeForce NOW. Only problem is, I own it on Epic Games, and I don't know if it saves to the cloud like Steam. Does anyone know?
