Sir Divish and Henry's father story should be in DLC or KCD 2

    Posted: 07 Aug 2020 02:38 AM PDT

    Jesus Christ be praised!

I got realy curious about Martin's adventure in Poland (especially since I leave there) and sir Divish's troubles with Talmberk, so I would like to witness their story a bit more, maybe like we did in "the womans lot". It would really expand our view on these charters. Edit: Maybe even they could get their own games

What are the effects of raising a combat skill

    Posted: 07 Aug 2020 09:35 AM PDT

Just started this game, and I've been enjoying the dedication to realism it has, especially in the combat system which makes you train to get better. A question I have is when I level up a combat skill like "Swords" what is the impact of that level on my character? Is it purely a stat buff to those weapons or does it change the actual handling of those weapons. I cannot tell from my limited playtime what I'm gaining from leveling these skills beyond the occasional perk.

Any Idea what is the default gear that is equipped by the participants during the tournament? Most specifically the armour.

    Did I break the game?

    Posted: 07 Aug 2020 02:13 AM PDT

So I decided to pickpocket everyone in the Rathaus in rattay. I got in at night and pickpocketed everyone. But I got discovered by the bailiff so I had to kill him since he saw me and was going to wake everyone up. After a few days I was doing the quests with the captain where he trains me in the arena and after finishing the quest he tells me to go to the bailiff and enlist in the guard. Thing is, he is dead. I go there to see if a new one was spawned but there's no one. What can I do? I don't want to start from the beginning and lose countless of hours I put in this game.

What is the best armour loadout to be stealthy but not defenseless, and if possible maybe not look like a peasant

My opinion on the story/game and everything. *spoilers ofc*

    Posted: 07 Aug 2020 12:25 AM PDT

Holy... this game is amazing! By far one of the best story driven games I've ever played before.

At the beginning I wasn't sure where the game was going to go. Henry begins in skalitz and everything seems fine I almost thought the game was going to be that simple of living in the town and maybe joining a army as a soldier but then the raid happens and oh my that is a giant shock Imo. The escape to talmberg is exciting as the cumans never let up on you.

And once you get to talmberg it's so exciting to see the castle and Henry arriving and he can barely talk as he's still in shock from the raid. And then when Radzig shows up and he almost casually chats with Divish after the raid it's almost shocking how it goes. Then when Markart shows up its intense how.divish talks the army away from talmberg. Then Henrys devotion to bury his parents leads to him almost dying at the hands of Medieval Pit bull. Then thersea saves him and if I'm being honest I almost thought the game ended. The way the names of people who worked on the project made me think it was over.

And waking up outside of Rattay is shocking on how big the city is. Most games would down scale the city but Rattay feels like a full fledged functioning city. Now I will say this right now. Hans goes from my least favorite to my favorite character his story arch is wild as he goes from a spoilt child to becoming more of a potential ruler. (The main line that made me love him is "I think I could actually do something for Rattay, for the people...") honourable mentions are of course Henry and Radzig.

Now for the plot twist of Henry being Radzigs son honestly surprised me a lot! I loved the way we (the audience) and Henry learned as well learned through a cut scene out of Henrys hearing range. Whereas he learned while being beaten.

Now the 1 downfall in my opinion is the lack of massive battles. I will say the siege of talmberg, battle of pribyslavitz, the battle between Mercs and the zoul household and the battle for Vranik ARE AMAZING I love feeling just like another soldier in the battle. And honestly the siege of talmberg felt lackluster as its a bit eh overall.

Now the villains of the game (Runt, Toth and Markart) are pretty cool. Markart being a literal knight, the nobleman Toth and the brigand Runt. And I feel each of them can represent their role as they are. Markart being a knight but not very honorable, Runt just kinda doing his own thing as brigand and Toth as a nobleman having a level of honor (releasing Radzig as promised).

The quests are fun and blend into each other the entire time. The side quests are also great personal favorites are the thick as thieves quests.

I also do love the DLCs Band of Bastards is by far my favorite imo followed by from the ashes. Though I wasn't too into the Capon DLC but I do love a woman's lot though I never "Completed" it which I couldn't finish due to a bug that would never load my game. The tournaments are fun and.the black peter story line is pretty cool as he jumps you and it blends into another part of a side quest.

The game is also just beautiful everything about it. The country sides makes the game worth to not fast travel through.

The combat is amazing it fits into Henrys storyline as he isn't a trained soldier or anything he's just a blacksmiths boy who has to learn everything. Reading, combat, archery etc. It's just amazing.

Now the end of the game is annoying but I understand it as both of your father's explain to you that you can relax and it is just a thing as there is more things worth living for. But Radzig does hint that the next game will hopefully be about the hunt for Markart as Radzig does state that "The man who killed your mother must pay." Though I do hope we get the sword back and it officially becomes "Henrys sword"

But of course the worst thing about this game is the bugs I couldn't list them all but they plague the game but the game just doesn't let that change your mind about it as you wanna finish the story because it's intriguing.

Overall I love this game so much can't wait for the sequel
