    Game Crashing wherever I try to start a new game pls help

    I've just installed the game and it loads up perfectly but whenever I try to start playing by chosing a new game the game just crashes without any error message.

    Tried running the game on Windows 7 compatibility mode and also as administrator and it's still crashing.

    All help appreciated!

    That horse that you need to ride to Talmberg died tried re-loading the save, still dead. Any known fixes? (I would be open to cheat as this is my second run.)

    It wouldn't surprise me if someone has always suggested this, but I noticed the entire outfit was unique in that it is one of the only outfits in the game that is entirely green in that shade. Then I thought that perhaps they had made it that way because when Henry starts out, he is, in fact, "green", meaning inexperienced. Not sure if it has any significance or if anyone has suggested this before, I just thought it was kind of a cool thought

    Master strikes are dumb.

    Yeah I was going to make a rant about this, but about 4000 words in I decided it's not worth it, so I'll just say this: master strikes are stupid, because the AI punishes player for just being agressive. Not for being TOO agressive, not for being PREDICTABLE (attacking from the same direction), not for mispositioning, etc. just for being agressive.

    Therefore to not get hit myself I must simply never attack and master strike every one of his attacks. I mean, sure, I can do that, master strikes are really easy once you learn to look at the weapon, and not the crosshair, but like, why?

    Why is there a complex combat system with Blocks, Perfect Blocks, Ripostes, Faints, Clinches, COMBOS, dodges and all that jazz, when the only REAL way to play the game is pressing Q at the right time.

    If AI master strike was a mechanic, rather than a RNG dice roll, It would be a pretty good tie breaker. For instance, if the AI master struck you only when you are being predictable (eg, going for the same combos and strings of directional attacks), I'd be cool. It would force people to actually get good at the game rather to just press Q.

    So yeah, love this game, love the combat system, hate that stupid master strike crap, wish it was removed or reworked lel.

    And the reason why I decided to not waste another 2 hours writing a proper article about the issue and suggesting changes is because this guy already did it: https://steamcommunity.com/app/379430/discussions/0/2860219962101110170/
    And 90% of responses he got was "gid gud".

    In the end most players of this lovely game are not good enough to beat an AI by having to either execute combos, Perfect Block - Riposte chain the enemy or clinch, so they will just pretend like Master Strikes are super-duper difficult and if you are getting bored of pressing Q multiple times, then you lack the skill,

    Everybody thinks I'm sneaking

    I've done a bunch of searching but didn't find a solution - was wondering if anybody knows how to fix my game.

    Basically, everybody acts as if I'm sneaking - people say "who's there?" and "what's that?" and then following me around and staring at me as I walk past, and I don't get an option to talk to anybody except for people with unique talk options (vendors, quest givers, etc.). So I can't talk to guards, villagers, townspeople, etc.. Even some unique people don't have a talk option anymore, like Johanka (I already finished all her quests, afaik, so I'm not necessarily missing anything - it's just... annoying that I can't talk to her anymore).

    I have a vague recollection that this started when I accidentally went into a private area in a house and then backed out quickly, with the homeowner alerted and confronting me, but that could be wrong, but now it seems to be happening literally everywhere (Rattay, Sasau, Talmberg, Uzhitz, etc.). I'm not sneaking, I'm not carrying anything stolen, I'm not standing on private property, I am not wanted of a crime anywhere. It's just, randomly walking through any town, but the vendors, inside the gate, outside the gate, it doesn't matter. I've tried sneaking and unsneaking, going to sleep, fast travelling, saving and loading, quitting and starting the game again, etc..

    I found a few other people complaining about this 1 2 3 but no solution yet. Any ideas?

    Urban is completely missing at the moment. He accused me of being a thief, I ran away and came back the next day and he's still missing. Waited a few days off and on and he still hasnt come back yet. Anyone know a fix?

    Hey, so I'm fairly new to the game, just got passed the point where I cure a plague. I decided to expand on my weaponry so that I can get some quick bucks through the tourneys. I pretty much main the longsword, so the first day in I stole The Harold's Sword, and my strength is at 11. That's on the top of my head since I'm not home at the moment. I'm looking for good short swords and maces.

    Edit: my strength is at 13 and my agility is at 7. How to get the weapons would also be useful. I'm not too well on money at the moment (238). I'm leveling up my agility as I write
