    Is the removing of ears for bounties historically accurate?

    Just the title. I know this game is pretty historically accurate and have been surprised by how far the devs went to portray Bohemia accurately, but haven't seen anything to show if this is just a game mechanic or actual historical accuracy.

    I literally just can't for the life of me figure out the combat in this game. I lose every fight. If I'm lucky I land one hit. Any tips that may help beyond the basic in game tutorials?

    Why must you forsake me!

    I'm only about 15 hours into the game and have gotten over some of the initial annoyances which you just learn with time (lock picking, being ganked, etc.). But my god is it infuriating when the game just randomly crashes (on Xbox) when I am just in my inventory with nothing going on around me so I lose the last 40 minutes of progress as it has been stuff I know I wouldn't have to save for. The save feature is something I dislike so I have actively tried to counter it by crafting many Saviour Schnapps, but to just have this hard, tedious work sidetracked by a fault of the game is sickening. Especially as it has happened more than once and at random times. This game has been on the Xbox Games Pass for about a year. I am wildly upset this is a thing. Thank you for reading, I like the game, just not the technical faults.

    Hare Hunt/Sheep In Wolf's Clothing - Need Help

    So I'm doing this quests, after researching online it came to my attention i will fail one of them, which i hate but it is what it is, where i'm having trouble is where do i jump from one to the next in order to get the max out of them as i am enjoying them.
    In hare hunt i am at the point where i've talked to everybody but the huntsman. i can also check the clearing or go to the meeting place to talk to Hare.

    i guess my question is how much i can do on both quests until i need to choose.

    Is my equipment/swordskill on par with where i am in the story ?

    Pretty much the title , i am currently lamenting my lack of sermon spinning abilities after meeting Father Godwin - but to this point i have generally avoided combat (in particular bc im fearful of stumbling into 3 on 1s etc).. im cutting myself a bit of slack as i decided i would follow the neuhof quest until Captain Bernard could return to the practice arena in Rattay . Ive since sought him out, practiced ripostes and other skills and i am improving but i do wonder - is it normal for a player to be thinking"oh shit here we go" in fights this late into the story ?

    I'm trying to replay the game in hardcore mode but I only get 25 fps in ultra low and was wondering if there's any way to remove stuttering and increase fps.

    The Nexus mods optimised graphics presets didn't help much. Thanks in advance.

    How to install mods if I don't have a 'mods' folder?

    Hey,

    I just bought this game and I fucking love it. I have RTX 2060 Super, 8GB RAM and i5-4670K 4,5GHz. Which should be enough running this game but sadly, not.

    I have no issues running other games on ultra with fix 75fps (I have 75hz monitor) but KCD is weird. I've only played the game for like 25 minutes but my PC is getting so so loud during gameplay.

    Is there anything to fix this issue, maybe tweaking mods or something like that?
