Is it common to "fall to your death" when all you're doing is dismounting your horse or was that a bug that just happened to me?

Are there any references to the Byzantines in the game?

    Posted: 10 Mar 2020 09:21 AM PDT

It does take place before the fall of Constantinople, so it be cool to even have passing references to the desperate situation on the Bosporus.

Did I just break the game?

    Posted: 10 Mar 2020 09:06 AM PDT

I missed this game a lot, and I decided to start a new campaign earlier today. Obviously, I decided that I will finish the intro as OP and as well equipped as possible. At one point, I got the drop on Janek (or Jaroslav, one of those two guards, you know them), killed him and took his stuff. A few minutes later, my dad want's me to retrieve the sword's guard, and I have to pick it up from... Janek and Jaroslav. Only one of them is still alive, and when I start a dialogue with him, the game goes into loading mode and so far it seems that it stays stuck in it.

Did I legit break the game so early on? Do I gotta reload? Is there any other way to get that blasted sword guard? Thanks for reading, everyone.

    Edit: I'm on PS4 btw

    The ending

    Posted: 10 Mar 2020 09:27 AM PDT

Amazing game but god Damn did the ending suck it ended Ona cliff hanger you didn't even kill the general or get ur sword back and from what I searched they don't plan on making a second game they left on a cliff hanger and you didn't even get to finish the smaller stuff like getting ur sword back amazing game but the storys ending sucked. Do they have any plans for a second game?

When exactly should I be using an axe?

    Posted: 09 Mar 2020 07:10 PM PDT

The weapons themselves don't exactly do damage based on how armored an opponent is, but that is basically what I myself go off if.

I say swords are for light armor.

    Axes for medium armor.

    Maces for heavy armor.

But what exactly is an axe good against? Wouldn't a mace just be better for armor regardless of what type?
