An "old whore" told me to pickpocket someone and then ratted me out to everybody when I was in the middle of doing it

Found this Cool easter egg east of Rattay, has anyone found this I can't find anything online.

It's probably been said before, but there really should be a camping kit you can buy.

    Posted: 19 Nov 2019 03:56 AM PST

I'm currently playing on the XB1 so I don't have access to the mods that you PC guys have and I'm just noticing that there really should be an option to buy a camping kit (small tent, bedroll, and flint and steel to cook food) at least for the early game. Maybe not so much late game with the perks and stuff but still somewhat useful imo.

    Sword belts?

    Posted: 19 Nov 2019 10:26 AM PST

Has anyone found a waffenrock with a sword belt or girdle. The war horse waffenrock has that gold belt which sort of does the job but still isn't accurate.

What a fantastic game I can't believe the freedom coming from AAA 'RPGs'.

Lack of sword belts would be my only complaint.

Siege Quest Anyone else having issues with the part where you have to get the builder to help with the trebuchet? I went and got the fake note to give to the boss guy, but I didn't get the original back, went to talk to the guy anyways thinking maybe I could talk to him even with the note gone. He didn't, so I decided to whoop some ass, now he just runs away from me. Should I just reload from an earlier save and redo it? Or will he stop running from me at some point?

    Nest of Viper Reporting

    Posted: 19 Nov 2019 07:43 AM PST

I tried googling this but didn't find a satisfying answer

After killing the entire Nest of Viper and 3 poison/3 burn arrow, I reported to Radzig. I told him there is many and his response sounds too extreme to make 3 castles empty. I reloaded and said there are a few.

Afterward, I read the google guides and all of those said that I should have reported a lot.

Question: how screwed am I? Shall I reload before it's too late? I'll waste around 1 hour of playtime if I reload

Making a potion without knowing the recipe?

    Posted: 18 Nov 2019 09:47 PM PST

I'm trying to make the Tiredness potion, but I don't have the recipe. I googled the recipe and followed it. I got a message in-game saying "you have discovered new recipe steps." The recipe for Tiredness potion is now in my recipe book, but it's incomplete. It says:

"Prepare oil, a handful of chamomile, and two handfuls of poppy.

    Grind the chamomile."

And that's it. The rest of the steps are missing. And the potion that I got after following the recipe is just an "unknown potion."

I tried repeating the process, thinking it might unlock additional steps, but it didn't.

Anyone have any insight on this? It's a pretty simple recipe, and I'm pretty certain I'm following it correctly. However, there are certain variables that aren't specified in the recipe. For example, you can grab the poppy and put it directly into the pot, or you can grab the poppy and put it in the dish first, then dump it in the pot, or you can grab two handfuls of poppy, put them in the dish, then dump them both in the pot at once. I'm wondering if you have to do things a certain, exact way in order to "unlock the additional recipe steps."

I know it'd be a lot easier to just seek out the recipe, buy it, and read it, but now i'm really curious.

Anyone have any insight on this?

Robber Baron - Bernard never leaves Rattay

    Posted: 18 Nov 2019 07:36 PM PST

I have searched, so if this has been discussed already I'm sorry.
I spoke with Hans, got yelled at by Hanush, went to Bernard and was told to mount up. Problem is, he's not in the place the other guards with their horses are. He's out by the training ring. After I speak with him (Hans has wandered off to town by this point), he never moves until it's time for him to head to bed again. Eventually I get the notice to meet up at the camp. I head to the camp but no one is there. Bernard is still at the training ring (his map pointer is still there too). I've waited a full day at the camp and nobody comes.
I've reloaded several times, going back as far as two days before I originally spoke with hans. I've tried going straight to that quest, I've tried doing a couple of other side quests first, I've even tried advancing the main quest another step. Nothing seems to make Bernard leave Rattay. Does anyone have any advice?
I'm on PC, have no DLC, and as far as I know only have the "save anywhere" mod.
    Thanks!

Question from new player regarding choice/consequence and questlines.

    Posted: 18 Nov 2019 08:50 PM PST

Just finished the prologue (by that I mean that I just woke up in millers house).

I'm wondering if some quests and questline are... exclusive? Dont know if thats the right word. Let me explain: I'm standing before a choice - I can either help the miller steal some shit or not.

I'd love to play Henry who doesn't do that kinds of things. Someone a bit more honorable. But... The prologue didn't reward me in any way for not acting like a 5 year old and not throwing poop at someones house for having different political opinion. I just didn't see a part of the games story. So now I'm under the impression, that I should just do EVERYTHING people ask me to do so I don't lose out on content.

Is there some kind of event later on in the game you can only get if you didn't steal/pickpocket/work for miller?

Is it worth to reject some quests/questlines?

Should I just accept everything people ask me to do?

Should i be worry for not doing some quests/tasks?

What is the best recommended way to play? Playing on Normal difficulty.

P.S. (November 2019, playing via Xbox Game Pass on Xbox One S All Digital) I copied this question from March 2018 from other user on this subreddit, but since not much answers were given i decided to reignite discussion about choices, different paths, quests and outcomes, penalties in this game. I copied everything from this post, because i had exactly the same thoughts as this guy - https://www.reddit.com/r/kingdomcome/comments/83wxc9/question_from_new_player_regarding/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x
