When I had heard people wanted a 2 i thought they meant a 2 with new characters different timeline and everything not a literal continuation. And I still never really got to see what Sigismund and wenclass looked like I was so hoping to see what royalty looked like through the game at that time. And the vengeance quest is still there which burns my soul for me thinking I was actually going to get to kill the guy. Now I get what Hans meant when he said we've only known eachother for a couple of weeks. This game was just so great but my journey felt so short lived god I want a sequel Sorry if these post are frequent I just wanted to share my thoughts. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 27 Oct 2019 09:17 AM PDT Story-wise, I'm currently at "All that glisters" and just spoke to Ulrich. The problem is, I can't fight, at all. Everytime a fight should be triggered, the NPC says a taunt and puts his weapon away, without the star for the different guards appearing. This is disastrous, for example, I cannot enter the Band, fight Milan, or be stopped by guards if I committed a crime. This Issue is apparent since I went to Merhojed for the main quest, however, I cannot say whether it started with the main quest or the sidequest were you have to cure the villagers. How forgiving is this game in terms of aimlessly exploring and trying things on the default difficult setting? Do I need to do my homework and read up about how to progress and what skills are good/etc? | Finally Returning to KCD!! But I have a few questions! Posted: 26 Oct 2019 05:29 PM PDT The last time that I played KCD was back in March of 2018, I was very turned off by the game due to a "leveling" bug that I experienced after putting nearly 80 hours, having obtained St. George (which was the best sword in-game at the time) and really nice plate to boot. I also had a ton of groschen! Just over 10K worth. On top of the leveling bug, I had missed out on some side questing opportunities, like Sir Capon for example. Anyway, I ended up becoming very ill, and this would go on for well over a year, and I am still recovering, though in the last stages of it. I was pretty much confined to my bed so I never got around to playing anymore KCD or even turning on my PC period. My wife bought for me a PS4 Pro and God of War and HZD, but I wanted to hold out for games that I could play on my PC. Well I am now back in the saddle so to speak, and I was hoping you guys could answer a few questions for me. I am anxious to start a new journey and re experience the magic of KCD! Does the odd leveling bug still exist? And are some areas still soft locked based "on level" upon entering? I think that was an issue as well... or maybe I am thinking of a different game regarding soft level locks for any items found in an area, etc? Have there been any major changes to the game since it was released, barring any DLC? Lastly are there any tips/advice that anyone would part with on the game in its current state? Anything basic to anything that you wish you had known of sooner? Even mod recommendations that are great QOL changes? [link] [comments] | ||

I haven't slept well in 2 days, I crapped myself twice, and I constantly feel dizzy, but I can't stop playing!! though tbh im gonna have to cut it off, gonna uninstall it tonight and try to take a week off to just recover my health. How does one fix the major popin of textures? Its super bad for me and causes the game to load on actions like washing to catch up on textures....I've literally been arrested for not responding because the game is loading during a wash and can hear the guard get steadily more irate. My question is, can you loot him? I looted Zoul cause I wanted his armor set and I wanted kunos too but I can't find his damn body. Although I did find the Stone, but it doesn't let me loot him. If someone can confirm you can't loot him I'll just continue on. If I can get his armor set I'll reload it [link] [comments] | ||
| Can't get the Tourney or Robber Baron to work Posted: 26 Oct 2019 01:46 PM PDT I have accepted every possible quest to start this tourney (3 or 4 different quests related to it now) and have never seen the Herald, but have the quest markers. I've tried spawning him in, but have spawned in 3 different people named Herald whom I can only ask About Rattay. Additionally, Captain Bernard will not meet with me in the courtyard to leave for this mission - he goes about his regular business. It would seem that the upper part of Rattay quests are broken for me, so I disabled all mods and traveled a bit and waited, but nothing changed. Has this happened to anyone else? Are there any solutions that you might know of? I am at the part of the story where I need to find the "crimps". [link] [comments] | ||
