    Swordfighting

    Posted: 03 Nov 2020 05:14 PM PST

I played KCD everyday, grinding and robbing. One of my most skilled aspects and most prized possession was fighting with a King Herod sword that I stole in Rattay. I put down the game for 3 months and came back recently. I now have to learn sword fighting all over again, I lost to roadside bandits. Should I restart and start fresh or keep going with what I have?

Why did they make the AI do this during fights?

    Posted: 04 Nov 2020 12:16 AM PST

The combat in this game is clunky enough as it is when it comes to fighting more than 1 opponent, why did they make the AI just constantly run circles around you and why did they make the camera just lock on to whoever comes near you? Also can't run cause they will literally phase 10 feet just to get you as you try to run, then you're just straight up screwed...

    Declining side quests

    Posted: 03 Nov 2020 01:26 PM PST

So, I know that side quests can be timed, so I need to only take them when I can actually do them. But I'm used to games where declining a quest is usually a permanent decision- so, is KCD also like that, or can you say "not right now" then come back later when you actually have time and say yes? Or is the only way to avoid starting new side quests when you're busy (without missing them permanently) to cut off dialogue when it starts looking like it might be leading in a questy direction/avoid any options that could lead that way?

Edited to add: I did Google this but all the hits were about how to decline the Peshek quest at the beginning, not anything close to my question. I also know I can experiment myself but that would assume all quests are the same and it seems to me they might be inconsistent on this point, so wanted to see if anyone knows if they're all on the same rules or which follow which rules on this point.
