Is there any way to reliably get polearms to fight with? Posted: 24 Oct 2020 07:03 AM PDT Since I've recently started to continue my hard-core run after beating my remaining dlc for my main run. I expiremented with polearms in combat training and have been loving them. Is there any way to get one besides stealing from bandits? [link] [comments]

Posted: 23 Oct 2020 01:26 PM PDT So, a lot of people I know, and some games reviewers said that the combat in this game is terrible. Well I finally got around to playing it.. and it's not. Like at all. First of all, the sound design is really great, the noises of impacts in combat are very unnerving. Now true if you get ambushed by angry cumans it is likely a death sentence at early levels. But the main thing is that combat really puts me at edge, it makes me uncomfortable. I don't even know if it's "fun" even, it's rewarding, and I feel accomplished afterwards.. but I don't revel in the slaughter. I avoid combat if I can, because hearing an enemy slowly wheeze and run out of breathe is terrible to listen to (again the sound design), and it feels so so real. I don't know that I've played a game that's accomplished that as well as this game has. So it's disappointing that the game is getting a bad rep for its combat when I feel that it's really accomplished something special there. What's more, the games ethos with combat extends to the rest of the game as well, and honestly it's been a long time since I've been this immersed in a game for hours on end. It's truly an achievement because in generally pretty picky about games. I would love to see this design philosophy realized in other time periods and in other genres, the potential is enormous. Especially with VR really starting to come into its own.. I can envision a future where video games are as close to time travel as we could realistically expect.. and that's really cool to think about. Anyways, thanks for listening reading my long rant! Please comment if you have anything you'd like to share. [link] [comments]
Question about containers and bandits Posted: 24 Oct 2020 08:02 AM PDT Basically I've just finished the Scavenger quest in Skallitz and like the god of hoarding I am I want to take every single weapon and bit of armour or clothing off the corpses of the dead guards and bandits. However both me and my horse are almost overloaded. My questions are: 1. Will the container under the dovecote where you found Beran's cup reset if I stuff a bunch of stuff in it so I can travel away and sell off some gear? And

Getting items back after they’re confiscated Posted: 24 Oct 2020 07:04 AM PDT I'm currently doing the monastery quest. I snuck out and retrieved my belongings, my first mistake, as I was then thrown in solitary by the Circators for going where I shouldn't have and they confiscated my stuff. I then finished the quest and went back to the chest where you put your stuff before you enter the monastery and it's empty. Where do the Circators take your stuff when you are put into solitary? Does anyone have any money making tips for hardcore? Posted: 24 Oct 2020 06:22 AM PDT I'm currently doing a hardcore play through and I'm completely broke. Any tips? [link] [comments]
Something bugging me about Restless Spirit (spoilers) Posted: 24 Oct 2020 05:24 AM PDT Spoiler warning (just in case you didn't see the title) So I finished the side quest Restless Spirit a week or so ago. A few days later I was going around buying raven's feathers for a different quest, and I ended up speaking to the herb lady near Ledetchko again. I was given the option to tell her I'd finished the ghost quest, so I did. But then, she said something wierd. I can't remember exactly what she said but it was something like "you wouldn't have needed that cross if you'd have just done what I told you in the beginning". Then, I kept telling her that there was no ghost and she was really insistent that I was just some young whippersnapper who doesn't know what he's talking about. Initially I just put it down to her being a nutty old bat and didn't think anything of it. She gave me some worthless herbs as payment (which I immediately traded back to her for raven's feathers) and I was on my way. But her insistence has made me start doubting Henry's wisdom and it's been playing on my mind for a few days... Is there some alternative ending or way of completing that quest that I haven't discovered yet? [link] [comments]
Posted: 24 Oct 2020 01:13 AM PDT I can't remember where the room was and there's no bed icon on the compass, any help? [link] [comments]
Posted: 23 Oct 2020 11:54 PM PDT Ok so I just finished the main storyline and can end the game by talking to Hans Capon. However, I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to buy all the DLC. I just wasn't sure would I be able to install the DLC and continue on from my game playing the DLC storylines? [link] [comments]

What’s the deal with reputation and Black Peter? Posted: 23 Oct 2020 11:48 PM PDT So I win the Tourney, and on my way out of Rattay, this guy named Black Peter attacks me on the road. I'm pretty sure I fought him in the Tourney. Here's the thing: when he attacks me, I get a pop up in the top right about how if I do bad stuff/behavior people will react negatively.. but I don't understand what I did. This dude just attacks me out of nowhere. Also during the fight I get poisoned, then manage to kill the guy before dropping dead from the poison. I have no clue what's going on. Posted: 23 Oct 2020 09:51 PM PDT I'm just now realizing the Gambison I sold early in the game was part of the warhorse set, I'm on console and it's been about three weeks in game. Is there any way I can get it back? [link] [comments]
Discussion: Is your Henry a psychopath? Posted: 23 Oct 2020 11:16 AM PDT Mine is. But are all Henrys a psychopath? "Psychopaths are capable of the most heinous crimes, yet they're often so charming and manipulative that they can hide behind a well-cultivated mask of normalcy for years and perhaps their entire lives.
