    Most effective rattay swordsmith robbery

    Posted: 04 Jul 2020 07:05 AM PDT

As you all know, when a trader is killed, knocked out, or leaves the room, the shelves in the room are emptied of goods, but what if you could loot the chests, bodies, AND shelves of a shop?

It just so happens I've done this successfully only once at the rattay swordsmith, and here's how...

Stage 1 I entered the shop through the side door next to the grind stone I sneak in and pick the lock on my left (hard) and enter the supply room of the shop and the red restricted area sign appears I stop crouching and walk around noisily in the room and I can hear the shop guard being alerted, he enters the room and I stealth kill him (shop guards respawn) I go back to the lobby where I came in and open the door to the main shop where the swordsmith is still standing, to my suprise the shop is still functioning without the guard and the shelves are still full of items. I then used a Saviour shnapps

Stage 2 Randomly a gaurd can enter so you have to be quick, I knock out the shopkeeper and drop him immediately , at this point leaving the room would cause the items to despawn, but if you are looking at them all the time this cannot happen, I found I had about a minute to clear the shop before a gaurd walked in, on the fourth attempt I stole, all the swords on the rack including the herod sword which is particularly expencive, I took 2of the shields on the table, I took the bailiff and ceremonial mace, I completely looted the the shopkeeper and left the way I came in before the guards entered. I walked out of rattay and straight back to the mill without becoming wanted.

Testing I saved again, and then reloaded the older save where I repeated the process but tried to loot the box in the shop, and was unsuccessful, I do believe however that at the right time of day the gaurds will not enter and this will give you more than enough time to loot everything.

I loaded the save again and this time left the room and waited, with the door closed the shop guards body was not discovered, so presumably without the rattay guard's patrol you can have as long as you want in the shop

How it feels to finish the game for the first time with 55k Groschen because you though you'll need them to buy lots of gear for the fight for your sword.

Renewable source of locked items (numbskull perk)

    Posted: 04 Jul 2020 12:22 PM PDT

Loving hardcore mode but I've only been able to get level 6 lock picking. I dont mind having slower xp in most skills, since I can grind them out, but I'm having a tough time finding enough locked doors and containers to train lock picking. I've been making a habit of picking the locks at the rattay baths every night.

Can't Talk to Anyone on PS4

    Posted: 04 Jul 2020 08:21 AM PDT

Hey everyone. Sorry if this is not the right place to post this. I've been playing the game for a few weeks on my PS4 now and overtime it's gotten harder and harder to speak with characters. I press X to talk and nothing happens. Initially it would take a few seconds and now I'm unable to talk to anyone at all. I tried deleting the game and reinstalling but I have the same issue. The game is pretty much unplayable at this point as I cannot continue in any quests. It really sucks because I was enjoying it a lot so far. Has anyone experienced something similar? Any advice?

Anyone know the other prizes for the tourney?

    Posted: 04 Jul 2020 11:40 AM PDT

I know that winning the first 5 times nets you the Lords of Leipa set; I'm asking about what you can earn AFTERWARDS. All the wiki says is that you get a high-end weapon/piece of armor. Does that mean, for example, that you can get rare items like the Nurembergian Cuirass or St. George's sword for free by winning the tourney?

So I've just completed the game and I have a couple of questions.

    Posted: 04 Jul 2020 09:56 AM PDT

    1. What do I do with the DLC quest in Samopesh? I googled that this quest is a part of the tournament DLC and it was about Black Peter, but I killed Black Peter near the start of the game and now the quest icon is just there, but the blacksmith doesn't have an option to talk about it. It also looks like in the endgame there're no tournaments anymore so I could try to talk to him while it's on.
    2. Is the Hans Capon DLC really that short? He didn't give me any quests after I failed to court him with butcher's daughter and it felt extremely short.
    3. Does the game have multiple endings?
    4. What do we know about the sequel?

    Posted: 04 Jul 2020 09:46 AM PDT

Im trying to sneak into Pribyslavitz , ive brewed some poison but id like to have the option to cloak myself in a disguise. Are there any smaller cuman camps that i could ambush elsewhere so i can get my hands on a cuman uniform?

    Weird vegetation

    Posted: 04 Jul 2020 12:36 AM PDT

Just installed kcd on steam, started playing and noticed this, as I move ln grass I can see a distinct line on the screen.

And as I move, this line moves forward and kind of darkens the Grass as I get closer to it, the grass also becomes more detailed,

and If I move backwards the line moves back as well and as it passes it reduces the brightness and detail of the grass again, is this a common problem?,

I can't find a similar problem online, any help would be appreciated, I can try to explain more if needed.

    Sluggish Combat Wheel?

    Posted: 03 Jul 2020 08:14 PM PDT

    Hi all,

I've gotten to the stage I can do combos semi-frequently but I'm noticing I think the biggest factor blocking me from being more consistent. Does anyone find that the combat wheel is insanely sluggish - particularly when trying to move it down to the lower stances?

Has anybody found a way to overcome this? I figure if I send the mouse sensitivity way up its going to affect my look and bow aim speed to harshly. Thoughts?
