Is Noble sword the fastest sword in the game?

    Posted: 21 Apr 2020 10:03 AM PDT

Since it has a weight of 2.2, it makes sense that this is the fastest sword in the game?

However is there some hidden mechanic out there that makes other weapons faster than the noble sword?

I don't know what is it. It appeared when I robbed peasants. Did someone have it?

TIL you can kill first Cuman naked in hardcore and escape Skalitz with 10+ stats

    Posted: 20 Apr 2020 09:53 PM PDT

Since I've learned so much from this sub I decided to give something back.

Foreword : hardcore mode is hard. It's not frustrating, but hard. So to save a lot of headache in the long run, we need Henry to unsubscribe from being a peasant scrub, and he needs to do it FAST. And today I discovered Henry can do it the hard way by killing ALL cumans in Skalitz.

But how? Forget riposte, archery is more powerful.

    https://youtu.be/Vsxmebaxu2E

Actually, in melee 1v1, calling archery overpowered is an understatement because

    1. You simply can't miss in melee
    2. You can stagger lock the enemy by chaining one shot after another
    3. You can release the arrow before the enemy landed a strike, and it's guaranteed stagger (don't know about other version or modded games, but in mine, arrows 100% stagger)

Who's the peasant scrub now bruh?

Without archery, out of 100 times I'd be lucky to beat this guy once. Honestly with archery, my grandmother win 100 times out of 100. Because stagger lock is the closest you can get to legit godmode.

How do I get to train archery? The cattles respawn. Naked guards rearm themselves. Arrows included.

Stats when fleeing Skalitz look like this :

I get 10 strength and 11 vitality from punching cows. If they flee, run to the opposite direction. After a certain distance, they will stop fleeing

Corner the sheep before you start shooting them to avoid bounty

Exhaust the herbs, train with Vanyek + Kunesh, and buy schnapps before knocking out anyone

No actual animals are harmed during the process

IMHO it's better to spend 6 hours to git gud rather than reloading in frustration

After that I saved Theresa, and killed all Cumans on horseback. The mule perks help me fund my expenses to arm myself with holy Christian metal, praise Jesus.

Also the horse nearest to Theresa is geared with noble saddle (4 bags).

I'm sure that anyone in this sub can do better. Heck, you can have 20/20/20 stats if you want. But it kills the fun, so seriously why would you want to do that?

Just started playing Theresa's DLC, and one thing I noticed

    Posted: 21 Apr 2020 11:04 AM PDT

Textures load really faster. No more of that problem of interacting with an NPC and he's all without textures. Map loads faster too.

I mean why don't main game works this way too?

Cut scenes run at 3 fps

    Posted: 21 Apr 2020 09:06 AM PDT

I have a very good PC that can run the game on 80+ fps but in cutscenes I only get 3 fps. How can I make it better?

Warhorse are working on motion capture - surely for a sequel. What do you want to see in their next game?

    My wonderful horse, and grass...

    Posted: 20 Apr 2020 10:57 PM PDT

Hah, I'm wondering, I can't be the only one who, before dismounting, always reigns in my wonderfully stalwart, swift, imaginary, zero need Al-Buraq where he can chomp at the imaginary grass or hay am I? This game has really gotten under my skin, I love the horse riding, galloping across the country side. It's so immersive. A part of me wishes I could also talk to my horse, just like I do Mutt, and give it a pat on the neck and a carrot or apple...

For anyone else who really loves this sensation and can't go horse riding, Mount and Blade 2 does a fantastic job of conveying the sound and motion of riding a horse, it's well done. Not overly polished yet though I must admit, though some aspects of medieval life (like riding that horse) they've got down well.

    Johanka DLC mission rant

    Posted: 20 Apr 2020 11:08 PM PDT

Ok did anyone else get pissed off when talking to Johanka right before the penitence mission where you have to do a pilgrimage to Uzhitz? I got really pissed how she made you out to be a sick and evil bastard for killing Cumans, like, sorry I was killing bastards who deserved it and also saved countless lives, I guess I'm just a piece of shit and should leave the Cumans to their merciless slaughtering. I think it was the way she said how I killed "countless innocent people" like I've literally never killed anyone except Cumans and bandits who attack me on the road, how the hell are they innocent? Also got kinda mad that I was forced to pay the church.
