What are the most intensive cpu settings?

    Posted: 18 Apr 2020 04:27 AM PDT

    Hi all!

I dropped KCD in the past because I had a "not-so-good" PC and I couldn't enjoy it, now I'm back.

Here is my rig - Ryzen 3600, 5700 XT, 16gb ram

I am looking for a (more or less) stable ~60 FPS.

My GPU never hits 100% (it stays at ~40-70%)so I am CPU limited, so I want to lower the "cpu-intensive" settings but I can't find which ones are the most intensives

    Can you help me please?

    Thanks!

P.S. I already tried with "r-BatchType 1" etc.. and already gained +15 FPS

    Posted: 17 Apr 2020 11:53 PM PDT

So I tried to train with Captain Bernard but he says no after what I did before. I tried to pick lock a chest right In front of him which was stupid but now he won't train me. What should I do?

    Serial lockpicker

I wonder what the people in Rattay think about this crazy bastard who once in a while unlocks every door and chest in their homes but doesn't steal a thing. But he lets them know he could. Do they gossip about him? Such a mysterious figure, nobody has ever seen him, even though the guards are patrolling the streets as usual...

(GeForce Now) Is it possible to change the carry weight limit?

    Posted: 18 Apr 2020 09:14 AM PDT

I just got GeForce now and want to start KCD again since my PC didn't handle it so well two years ago. I now it's silly but the carry weight limit is really a big problem for me because I am always kind of a hoarder in RPGs. Back then I used mods and I know that you can change some thing in the game files. That's obviously not possible on GFN. And as far as I know there is no command for the console as well. Again, I know it's silly but I think I'd rather try it again on my PC than not being able to change the weight limit. I just love to everything I can in games. Since everything I can find on Google is from 2018 or just pages telling me to use mods I figured I give it a try and ask the experts of the game if anyone knows of a possibility to change it on GFN :)

Why am I able to 100% consistently and successfully pickpocket any awake and moving NPCs, but get immediately caugh trying to pickpocket a sleeping person??

What exactly is the gameplay mechanic here? I don't understand this is so frustrating.

I wish the game would make reading the Codex entries mandatory before progressing further in the story.

    Posted: 18 Apr 2020 01:36 AM PDT

I have no idea how to enforce this as players could just scroll through the Codex entries. Perhaps there could be dialogue options that you would cause an immediate end game or death of Henry and save file wipe should you choose the wrong dialogue option that test the players on their knowledge learnt from the Codex.

    Mods without Steam?

    Posted: 18 Apr 2020 08:52 AM PDT

So I got KCD for free from epic games a while ago and thought it was rough around the edges but still pretty fun. The thing is that I like to mess around in games like these, but I can't do that without saving right before I try something stupid, or else I screw myself over. But I can't do THAT because of the game's save system. So I looked up how to get unlimited saves and everything I've seen has shown how to get and use the unlimited saves mod with steam. But I only have the game on my epic games account so I have no idea how to enable the mod. I also think most of the tutorials are outdated since when I downloaded the mod, the folder and file names were kind of different.

    Thanks.

Edit: (Also, I've tried adding KCD as a non-steam game to my steam account but Steam can only add the Epic Games Launcher, but not any of the games on it.)

Would short sword knight (1 handed) go well? Or 2 handed knight with full shiny armor?
