Sometimes I hate myself for buying this game Posted: 26 Mar 2020 09:10 AM PDT 3rd play through had so much fun first two times now all of a sudden I just CANT BEAT runt at pribyslavitz or however you spell it. Idk what is going on but I can't for the life of me beat this dude and I completely blame Henry because every single fucking time I attack it's all slow mo and telegraphed and he just counters with his stupid shit where he hits you with the butt of his sword. I'm to the point where I'm done with this fucking game it is so fucking annoying like I get I'm not some god but why do you swing your sword like a fucking idiot Henry put some actual fucking speed behind it instead of swinging like a drunk bar fight. Sorry for grammar I'm enraged and could care less about my punctuation or misspellings. [link] [comments]
Can anyone give me some non-spoilery hints about where to find Treasure Maps? Posted: 26 Mar 2020 11:23 AM PDT I'm pretty late in the game and have explored widely, but I've only got 9/25 Treasure Maps. I've bought the maps from the three millers and any I've seen for sale among general tradesmen, plus a couple from travelling salesmen in random encounters, but I feel like I'm missing something. I realise I could of course look up their locations online but I'm prefer not to do so if I can help it. Can anyone gently hint at some locations or avenues of exploration I might be neglecting? Posted: 26 Mar 2020 01:12 PM PDT I just finished Nest of Vipers and overrun the camp but the bandit boss is impossible to kill. I hit him once or twice and his health barely goes down yet he hits me once and I'm at half health. Any tips or tricks I can use against him? [link] [comments]

Posted: 26 Mar 2020 10:43 AM PDT Hi. I am just about to finish the "trial and error" achievement. I am in the late game, not able to read yet and only need to place an altar in the chruch. But it depends now on how much this costs. Either I will wait one day, then finish the achievement and go to Ushitze to learn to read finally or I will ride to Rattay first to do some stuff there. So, that is why I am asking you guys: how much is the altar? is it 4000 or 2000? I am not sure anymore and nobody ever seamed to post a price list anywhere. [link] [comments]

Questions about hardcore mode and merciful achievement Posted: 26 Mar 2020 12:09 PM PDT On my 2nd playthrough, I completely missed out on Hans DLC as I was in the middle of my playthrough before I grabbed all DLCs, which were on sale. I missed out Merciful achievement and I haven't tried hard core mode yet. Any tips and tricks to hard core mode I should know about? Something you just personally prefer and couldn't live without. I've read a bunch of tips and tricks to hard core mode, but I'm sure there will be more from our veterans here. Thank you. [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Mar 2020 07:53 AM PDT I played the game a ton when it came out and loved it, thinking of playing the game a second time but unsure whether to play normal or hardcore. I like some of the ideas of hardcore but get the feeling I might end up really frustrated with limited saves, harder combat and the negative perks. I do however want a bit of a challenge, so would it be worth playing hardcore, or would normal be better for someone who wants a bit of a challenge without going full dark souls frustrating? Just started and already thinking about quitting Posted: 26 Mar 2020 11:16 AM PDT Combat is so weird. just started recently and joined this tourney thing in rattay since its going on this game day and i assume it will be gone the next. i think i do okay with longsword even though it feels like i swing as if the sword weighed 1,000 pounds. but whenever i have to fight with axe i lose, i block and then hit this guy like 50 times and his health just will not go down, but if i get hit once i lose a giant chunk. same guy i beat pretty easily with sword. whats going on. should i not be doing this yet? also can never seem to do combos/chain attacks etc because i move so slow and they easily switch guard before my swing lands. what am i doing wrong? playing on xbox. Can I make my horse follow me when I`m not mounted? Posted: 26 Mar 2020 04:56 AM PDT I`m not talking about pressing X and calling it. I`m planning to gather some herds on a way back to Rattay from herbalist and it would be really annoying to dis-mount my horse every time or just leave him be and call him when I`m in Rattay (plus he the one, who carries all of my herbs and books). Captain Bernard 's Training is a really fast way to grind combat skills Posted: 25 Mar 2020 01:43 PM PDT Having trouble with combat? I did too. Got to Rattay, stole some endgame armor and decided to fight some well equipped bandits. Thought I would do great. Didnt turn out so well because they had plate armor too but my stats were bad. Reloaded, grinded str/agility/longswords/shortswords with Captain Bernard. I had 16 def, 15 agility, 12 strength and 14 swords after a few in game days of training. Went back and rekt those bandits. Lets think about that. Henry is a really lazy 18-20something that doesnt wake up on time and has to be motivated by his dad to do anything right. Yet Bernard turns him into a master swordsman in a few gamedays. This training also has the side effect of making Henry stronger and faster. As in strong and fast enough to take on men at arms and knights in full plate armor. Bernard is one hell of a teacher. Or Henry is just a savant. [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Mar 2020 07:19 AM PDT So I've got a bunch of armour to sell after joining in a skirmish midway through and killing the rest . There's loads of armour and I'm encumbered to sh*t , can I leave some stuff In a nearby chest to come back to or should I just lug it all back ? [link] [comments]
For some reason i cant copy the book in the cloister Posted: 26 Mar 2020 07:08 AM PDT I need to copy some Latin in the cloister but I can't even sit down. The option appeared for a brief second but when I clicked on it henry started to walk against a bookcase and then the option was cancelled. Now I can't do the mission. [link] [comments] |
