Probably a silly question, but am i at the ending (Kinda Spoiler-ish)

    Posted: 16 Mar 2020 08:27 AM PDT

    Hey guys...

Working on my first playthru of this amazing game, and i had a question.

Ive been playing for a while, but i had thought that i had a LONG way to go in the main storyline still. Now i am not so sure.

To be as general as possible, i just finished a large battle between some allies of mine, and the enemy, that took place while attacking a fort. NOW, the battle is won, and i am fighting 'the big bad'.

I am so near-death after the big battle that i have no chance in hell of winning this fight, but, am i at the end? I was surprised to be fighting someone that i had thought was the finale, since as i said i thought i had a lot more game to play.

So, is this the end, or is this just another milestone in the main story?

What kind of additional gameplay features would you like to see in a sequel?

    Posted: 15 Mar 2020 04:44 PM PDT

I'm coming up on 200 hours in this game now and haven't even finished up the main plotline, but I think it's easily the best and most interesting sandbox RPG I've played in a decade. And it also seems to display a ton of potential for expansion and development (sort of like the Witcher series). I know Warhorse originally planned to include blacksmithing, but what else would you like to see in terms of additions?

Here are few quick examples of mine -

    • Smithing, tanning, and maybe mining mechanics
    • Proper horseback combat including jousting with lances
    • Polearms and crossbows; maybe even early firearms depending on setting.
    • Maybe a new 'mechanics' skill - it would be great to see Henry (or another protagonist) be able to get involved in some kind of guildwork building clocks or crossbows.
    • Maybe a 'warmth meter' like hunger or thirst. Could be especially appropriate if the game was set in winter.
    • A more complex reputation system, with factions that can't all be simultaneously placated (Fallout NV style).

I realise there's also a danger of overcomplexity, but I think Warhorse did a great job of making sure none of the 'minigames' like alchemy or lockpicking were boring or tedious. Same with hunger and energy levels - factors to consider but never annoying mechanics you had to fight against. Anyway, I'd love to hear others' ideas.

I have installed the mod and unzipped it and put the files into the mods folder but when i get into game Henry just has an untextured beard and very smooth skin, if anybody has a solution or knows what I am doing wrong I would really appreciate it.

    Roleplaying house of zoul

    Posted: 16 Mar 2020 02:39 AM PDT

Roleplay wise, and more or less historically accurate, could Henry be given the title of the new lord of house zoul after this house became extinct after the death of Hagen zoul? I mean I can't find any roleplay reason to wear the house of zoul armor, that I really want to use and this really annoying me. Any suggestion or something?
