You can quickly tap autobrew and get both batches. Posted: 31 Mar 2020 08:40 AM PDT I discovered that when you select the recipe book to read it, if you're quick enough, you can double activate autobrew. So if you got the second level of the perk you're making 6 potions per turn. The one oddity is that the second activation will also cause you to turn the hour glass. So that animation does play out but it's fairly quick. Not sure if this is known after 2 years of release but I thought it was cool. [link] [comments]

Tried installing some mods, now the game doesn't work at all. Posted: 31 Mar 2020 07:52 AM PDT So basically as the title says I popped a bunch of mods in the mods folder, tried running the game, and it shows the loading window, shows a black screen for a second, then closes. I tried a bunch of methods to try and get the mods to work, all with the same result. Then, I removed all the mods, and everything else I changed, aaaaand the game still doesn't work. Help? Does every vendor have a chest? Posted: 31 Mar 2020 02:43 AM PDT So i have to restart my HC playthrough after 15 hours because somehow i have killed someone and none of my older saves have it without a death(i know there is 1 guy you HAVE to kill but im not even started on main quest yet). Im trying for that merciful trophy even though i havent played before. Anyway im leveling lockpicking in skalitz trying to get 6 before i leave and i have hit every house and there is this guy who sells horseshoes and i want to rob him, Nay, i HAVE to rob him the kleptomaniac in me says i must. But i just cant find anything ive even tried knocking him out and seeing if he had his loot on him and nothing. so im guessing its just not there. Is it due to the events later that maybe they just didnt add it or do some vendors just not have a chest? [link] [comments]

Posted: 30 Mar 2020 07:06 PM PDT Wow, I just "finished" the quest and let me say, that was an experience. Wow i felt it was a bit tedious (as it should be), it really was just a fun time meeting the other brothers and their problems. My lockpick skill wasn't high enough for the mission where you're supposed to get a cask of wine, so I grew some balls and knocked out the Prior before evening prayer started, stole the keys to the monastery, and hid his body in the corner. I also stole his clothes so he woke up and started praying naked. Sneaking around at night was also fun, as I got chased by the Prior a few times after waking him up. I guess one time I was reported, and got kicked out of the monastery because I stole the one dudes stashed dagger and had it on my possession. Since I have the keys though, I am about to sneak back in and finish the quest. I've seen it get quite a lot of hate on this sub, but i personally loved it. The game does such a good job of giving players the freedom they need. [link] [comments]
Problems with bandits and weird happenings around Sassau during "At your service, my lady" quest. Posted: 31 Mar 2020 06:24 AM PDT Early in the morning I left Rattay Mill and headed to Sassau to get the crown I'm still early in the game, I've not yet became a city guard in Rattay, only had some training with the captain Bernard. I've been riding the horse that I need to give to lady with the wine and crown. I don't have my own horse yet so I used this one to spare time. After I passed the shallow part of the river near Sassau I ran into a group of bandits. I tried to ride away but they shot the horse and I fell. After a bit of fighting I died and had to start over from the mill. Then I went to a different road to avoid those bandits and I successfully arrived in Sassau. After I found out that I need to find that stone I rode to the area, but on my way I found a corpse and a guy looting it. After some conversation I mistakenly chose that he pay me so I don't report him. Then I arrived in the area. After I found a cart with blood by it and an empty chest in the middle of the road 2 enemies attacked me. They had similar armor to what Cumans wear and they spoke in foreign language. So they probably were Cumans or some other Sigismund's soldiers. After I killed one and the other ran away I was then attacked by 2 local bandits with no armor and killed them. In the meantime some people started running and shouting, more Cuman - like enemies showed up and a guy in black clothes with bow shooted at some people and those Cumans. I thought he's friendly, but then he started shooting at me. I had very low health and started running to my horse to ride away, but as I was running and evading arrows I didn't see that I'll fall from around 1,5 to 2 meters and I died from fall. And now I need to start over from the mill. I then watched a walkthrough and there were no such happenings that I witnessed. I saw that I should find a camp where the murdered trader is, but I didn't find it because of enemies attacking me. I wasn't in such a tense situation with do much happening around since Skalitz. Posted: 31 Mar 2020 07:22 AM PDT So my thinking has always been that brigandine armor and it's hybrid variants would be lighter than, say, full on plate, but also not afford as much protection. However when examining weights it seems that, especially on greaves, plate not only affords better defense than brigandine but also weighs less. My question is, what are the benefits to the different armor types? Are there some designs that just aren't as good as others? What's the best set up you have come on with? Like with helmets, I've yet to find one that outmatches the houndskull. [link] [comments]
