So, I totally dig how some lower ranking bandits cower in fear when I come around. Maybe it's because I'm covered in the blood of 12 mortals. 🧐

Do people respawn in this game?

    Posted: 02 Mar 2020 08:11 AM PST

I just devastated Uzhitz and Ledetchko down to the last human and it's only the horse to blame, he kept saying "ride them down, ride them down" so yeah, i killed the bailiff and everything else that moved.

I'm worried if i can still find Reeky or not. Not sure if i cut him down.

Doesn't run well with 1080 TI any suggestions?

    Posted: 02 Mar 2020 09:54 AM PST

Hello. I got this game at launch on PS4. When i got to the market, it ran at low frames and everything loaded in as i approached it. It was enough to take me out of the game.

Fast forward to yesterday, i have a 1080 TI and an i5 8600k, the game was free on epic games store. I watch a friend play on ps4. runs fine. So i decide to go home and play.

It felt as if it ran just as bad if not worse as launch day FOR ME. and i dont know why at all. I had to set everything to low which is ok as long as i can play. But even at low it had bad frames. Shit would only load once i was in front of it. And immediately took me out of the game again. I dont know what anymore, I plan on not playing again unless someone has any ideas that may help. I'd be fine with any outcome as long as its playable. I would think that i could run it on decent settings with my rig.

1080 ti, i5 8600k, 1440p, aparently not gonna run kingdom come. that doesn't make sense. I would assume it has to do with the power of cryengine but i dont really know what else.

Can’t get my friends to get into game and it’s actually saddening me

    Posted: 01 Mar 2020 06:53 PM PST

They like games like fallout and elder scrolls, but out of about 6 of my friends only one of them actually downloaded it on account of it being free via gamepass.

For me, I was literally so excited to play it I stopped playing the Witcher 3 before the last few missions to jump into it. I was so determined there was no challenge or failure that would have turned me away from the game.

I'm giving glowing reviews and saying it's the best game I've ever played, but they don't seem to really want to get into it. I understand people have different tastes but it's really disheartening when I just want the people closest to me to get this subjectively fantastic experience.

    Best Places to play Farkle?

    Posted: 02 Mar 2020 07:16 AM PST

Got a decent set of dice from treasure chests (full Lucifer and 3x Lucky Playing Dice) and got my agility up enough for the perfect throw, been looking to swindle some townsfolk out of their groschen.

I've gotten a couple thousand hopping between Ledetchko Player and Rattay inn (who I pickpocketed two extra Lucifer dice off of lol), wondering if there are some other decent spots to add into my rotation.

Best way to train stealth and pickpocketing without harming reputation or doing naughty things?

    Posted: 02 Mar 2020 10:16 AM PST

I'm early-midgame - just finished Ginger in a Pickle - and I'm trying to play Henry as a pretty decent virtuous character, but I'd really like to get better at stealth and to a lesser extent lockpicking. For RP reasons I don't want to steal from the good folk of Rattay or surrounding towns, so is there another way around this? I don't mind doing 'shady' stuff (e.g., unlocking random doors, rummaging in people's pockets) as long as it doesn't cross any moral lines (actually stealing). Is there a good in-character way I could do this? Ideally it'd be a nice gameplay loop (like training with Bernard) that I can get hooked into for an hour or so.

    Horse glitch

    Posted: 02 Mar 2020 09:31 AM PST

My horse Pebbles is glitched. The only option that comes up when near the horse is "Loot". No mount or anything. Pressing Loot brings up my horse's inventory. It's like Pebbles isn't even mine anymore. How do I fix this. Taking items from its inventory is marked as "steal" item. I can't even move things from my inventory to the horse, so the game definitely thinks I don't own it. Help

So...is this game broken or something? Matthias is everywhere... (Spoilers)

    Posted: 02 Mar 2020 01:50 AM PST

Hello folks, sorry if this has been asked before. This is my first time through the game. I must say I am enjoying it quite a bit but, I'm not sure whats going on with Matthias. I spent many of my first hours near Rattay, and stayed around there until the merchant needed a Cook. I ended up going to Sasu to find the Priest so I could convince Agnes to cook for the merchant. While I was there, I encounter Matthias and Fritz outside the Inn, and told me they need jobs. I was like "Cool bro np, I got you." Fast forward a bit and I have them a job in Ledechko. I deal with their problem with the Miller, then many hours later I run into the duo again at the Inn by the Glade or w/e it's called, and they try to wrangle me into this ridiculous scheme to pay off their debts by robbing people. For some reason the game just won't let me give them the money they owe, nor would these two clowns accept the Jobs I offered them at Prizit-whatever (sorry >.<) So naturally, I report them and a week later these two dinguses get obliterated by the guards. Fast forward many hours of playtime later I get to the Main Quest mission in Merhojed where Henry is suddenly like "omg thats where Matthias works!" and I get an objective to find out what happend to him, confused, I go there and find him injured on the ground...what? O.o

Then I go to Sasu Monastery to report whats going on there, and I see Matthias laying on a bed in the infirmary getting tended to by Johanka....wtf? O.o Did I break something somehow? is this just an oversight by the developers? I'm very confused...

Do you need to specialise in a weapon?

    Posted: 02 Mar 2020 04:17 AM PST

Mild spoilers below for an early mission.

I'm new to the game, having just finish the Capon hunting quest. I think I 'get' the game - I'm playing on hardcore for my first go, best Hans at hunting and whooped the Cumans in the mission.

I've been training with Bernard and mainly working with the longsword. However I quite like axes and maces too. I'm just wondering whether one focussed on combat should specialise in one weapon type, considering the task of training and practising, or whether become skilled at all three is doable or even desirable?

I currently own a crappy axe and a bludgeon from the first quest in Rattay. I can afford a new weapon, hence asking now.

    Cheers
