This games locations are fucking stunning!! Who new landscapes had such a big impact on your immersion!

Is that an Easter egg? I saw it in the forest near uzitch (probably spelled wrong) and it seems too intentional to be just something normal, BTW it's not marked as an interesting site.

    Comparing items while looting

    Posted: 26 Feb 2020 09:59 AM PST

So I feel like I have missed something very obvious. I know how to compare stuff in your inventory, numbers go blue or red when scrolling through your items, that's fine. But when I'm looting anything (chest, body, robbing, whatever), my character window isn't here so I don't know if I have an item in this spot, and if I do, I don't know if it's worse or better.

1/ Must I pick it, find it in my inventory and compare it then (most likely) drop it ?

2/ If so, is there a mod or workaround this ? I find this tedious

    Thanks

Post your least favourite quests! (Spoilers)

    Posted: 26 Feb 2020 04:19 AM PST

Night raid - can't get kill either of the first two guards without alerting the other

Playing with the devil - forced to intervene and kill "woodcutters" named bandits, lose reputation regardless

Aquarius - job finding for other people really boring and nobody wants to throw shit

    Honorable mention:

Needle in a haystack - very strict routine, you can't leave after you've completed your task, John knows everything, dialogue options aren't consistent with where you are in the quest (Antonius acts like he was still from Vlashim after confessing he is Pious etc.)

Ive just realized this, if you don’t have any skill in reading such as I, you can still read. The letters are just scrambled.

Is the pile of bricks in the interesting site mean something?

Does it lead to something, have secret treasure around it, something?

The "git gud" guide/info from a new player

    Posted: 25 Feb 2020 01:24 PM PST

So I wanted to post a thread on what I noticed about newer players, as a newer player. I got the game for free from the Epic Store, as I am sure a lot of others have, and I shortly joined this thread to get some help/info on the game. As I noticed, I had the same complaints as many other new players, the combat sucks this game is hard blah blah blah... but I loved the immersion and the freedom of the game so much, that I wasn't going to let the combat stop me from trying to enjoy myself. All I kept reading on here was the same "git gud" strategy of you need to stop playing like the Witcher and the Dragonborn from Skyrim who are literal gods in their worlds. Your character, Henry, is literally a dirt low peasant who wakes up from constant hang overs and throws cow shit at peoples houses... pretty much a shitty NPC that you do a quick save on before you murder in Skyrim, just to watch rag doll across the town because its funny.

The only reason why you are any good at fist fighting (if you can even call it good) is because back at Skalitz, you and your drunken friends would get into bar fights and act like the teenagers you are (or so I would think considering). Remember, in the very beginning, Lord Radzig asked you to show your sword technique in front of him and your father, and you could barely cut a stick of wood, yeah, that's your fighting technique with a sword right now. Pretty embarrassing. And you as the player are expecting to be some warrior off the start and cut down and stab people? You cant even hit a wooden stick properly.... You are out in the world going up against Cumans who are battle hardened, and bandits who are "bandit hardened." This plays a major roll as to why Henry is just terrible at fighting. He doesn't know anything about it. His father, wants him to live a peaceful life in a small town and become a blacksmith, not a Soldier. From the small cut scenes back in Skalitz, it seems that all Henry really knows how to do is make nails and help his father with some smith work.

Early on, you have to time everything right. Unfortunately it takes time and training for Henry to actually be good at fighting. Once your strength is up a bit, you will soon learn that overpowering enemies will be more fluid and learning how to riposte back against enemies takes a bit of practice. Bernard, and even the Rattay Tourney are great training and practice tools. The Tourney is awesome because not only are you using real weapons, but you don't damage armor and if you get hurt, your instantly healed afterwards and in between fights. Also, your abilities train quickly too.

Trust me, it takes time to get used to it, but once you start leveling up and practicing a lot and actually going out in the world and killing people, you'll soon be asking for more fights.

Am I the best at the game after such a short experience and constant reading on how to "git gud"..... ABSOLUTELY NOT! I still have trouble with the big group of peasants... but apparently so do hardened Kingdom Come players too, but still now I can go up against a heavily armored bandit and actually withstand it without getting two shot and hating the game. But I do enjoy the game a lot more because of how much better I got after actually taking the advice of the fan base and players who literally all say the same thing.... Practice with Bernard, and "git gud."

Thank you for your time reading this. I hope you all enjoy your adventures.

Does anyone feel that there is a hidden mechanics about breaking your opponent's defense? I summarize something that might increase one's offense efficiency but I am not sure. Here is a video about winning tournament by avoiding using master strikes as much as possible (still used a few though)

Here are some rules I blindly conclude.

Rules one: attack in the direction that mostly suit your current stance. If you are holding your sword above your head, don't slash from below. You can attack from the top or even from top-left or top-right.

Rules two: don't attack in a direction which your opponent's sword is holding towards. I feel doing so will increase enemy block chance.

Rules three: your each strike change your current stance to where the sword ends, so you will need to choose a new strike direction every time to follow rules one.

I also have some guesses about which direction to strike after a feint can have the best effect, but I fear those guess might be too complicated to be true in game.

BTW, this community is amazing. I can hardly imagine there are 1k players in china playing this super hardcore game while you have 80k here. Love it.

Question about A womans lot and from the ashes dlc probably bug, anyone help me pls

    Posted: 26 Feb 2020 01:01 AM PST

My question is if anyone has a bugfix for this, so when I go to Prybislawitz (or however it's written) I cant find Marius but I also can't build anything via the book. the circle around the A/X/E Button just fills up and then nothing happens. Any Fixes?

Also I sent the dog back to the mill but he is not there and I dont have the dog tab anymore (well I have it but I can't access it) I think he will comeback tho of his own right?
