    Lack of blood and gore in combat - any mod solution yet?

    So I tried picking this game up before but when I noticed how little blood and gore there is in combat (non-existent), it just broke the immersion for me. Everything else is pretty much perfect in this game, but in the end winning a battle feels somewhat unrewarding, because you just can't see the impact of your properly landed hits.

    I want to see my opponents bleed when my sword hits their unprotected region. I want to see their faces be mutilated when I land a devastating hit with a hammer. I want to see grievous wounds after my axe swing slices their body.

    After a long, wearing duel, what happens when you manage to finish off your enemy? He slumps down on the ground like deciding to take a nap, all clean from the withering, long battle that just took place. You literally can't tell that he died by your hand, as there's not even blood pool on the ground.

    I've heard this could be modded, but after a quick search, it looks like there's no proper blood/gore mod yet available. Is there one being in development and if there is, when would it be available for release/testing?

    Since I can't edit the title, I meant to say Black Peter. The typo is so hilarious though that I'm glad I can't edit it.

    So, by sheer luck (one of the rounds being won by some weird glitch), I won my first Rattay Tourney. I then learned that apparently, you have to keep winning them to get all the 'goods'. However, I do have a question:

    Apparently Black Henry being the bitter sport that he is, will attempt to ambush me near the Rattay Mill. My question is, does he do this after the first loss, or only after I've won numerous times? Also, if it is after the first loss, will killing him make future tournaments easier, or does he unrealistically reappear as the final opponent? And lastly, I've heard there's a mission where you're supposed to investigate his role in murdering someone. If he attacks me prior to that mission, and I defeat him, will that bug my game? I'm curious.

    Streamed for the first time tonight with my girlfriend, two people watched us and helped us out and it was honestly one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had.

    I'm not sure if this is an appropriate place to post but I felt the need to share.

    We saw the game at a store today for $40, it looked really fun so we decided to get it. After it installed from the disk we thought it would be a fun idea to stream ourselves playing the game for the first time. We were only on mic but two others started watching us and began giving us tips and pointers. It helped us a lot and talking with each other we ended up having a bit of fun mucking about too, it really was an amazing introduction to such an amazing game as well.

    We only streamed for about two hours and only two people actively watched us most of that time but we had so much fun because of it. I can really see myself liking this game and having only played it for a few hours and already seeing such a friendly community (of two) I'm really happy we decided to stream.

    Rattay tourney

    Random crashes to desktop and fix

    For 20 hours the game was running fine, but since yesterday I got random crashes to desktop. I looked here on the subreddit and I did see some old posts where this is mentioned, but no solution.

    I did find the solution Here You have to put "sys_streaming_cpu 8" in the user.cfg file in the game folder (make one if you don't have it yet)

    Apparently there is an issue if more then 8 threads are being used.

    For me this seems to solve the issue for now.

    My specs: Ryzen 2700x / 2070 super / 16GB ram

    Modern Kingdom Come?

    My favorite part of kingdom come was the fact that you start as a loser and not some immortal badass murder machine. But I would love to see a modern day game, maybe set to a story like red dawn with KCDs leveling system. Guns would be like a low level bow but with recoil. Hand to hand fighting and knives, batons, machetes etc.

    Fixing glitched Bernard with teleport console command?

    In my game Bernard has been stuck at Neuhof since the The Hunt Begins. I'm now about to start The Die is Cast and I feel I need to have learnt master strikes, which is impossible due to glitched Bernard.

    My question is, can this be fixed by transporting him using console commands?

    It's super frustrating as this has been glitched since release day.

    Does anyone know what the guy in the Volume setting menu is saying?

    Is it just lorem ipsum or is he actually saying something? Obviously it's just so you can evaluate the loudness of it but I'm curious what he's saying, and I don't speak whatever language he is (Latin? Czech?)

    Can't find any answer so I figured I'd try here.

    What DLC to start first?

    Almost towards the end of the main quest line. Looking to buy some of the DLC's to keep the adventures going. What DLC would be recommended to start first? And if I should finish the main quest first before starting that DLC. Thanks everyone!
