Posted: 02 Oct 2020 09:03 AM PDT Does anyone have any helpful with improving performance on consoles? Specifically to make pop ins and the loading of textures a bit better. I have tried rebuilding PS4 data base and deleting unnecessary saves but there are still a lot of loading issues. [link] [comments]

Prologue Complete! - Tis' but a Scratch! User Notes Posted: 02 Oct 2020 08:51 AM PDT HEY! GOAT FUCKERS! i chanted from the fourth wall at the Cumans harassing this poor lass, 3v1, not even full plate would have helped her. As I stumbled closer to them, down the path fleeing the siege, it was then when i had realized who's hiney i was so eager to save. A Hiney that the game went out of its way to take the ultra zoomed in shot of her bunbunz trotting away - and as if that was not enough, you're old man even makes some suggestive remarks (come on dad..thats just weird, i know moms about to get diced up but like...chill man, shit...) and now to my dismay i see this game-critical booty about to catch the Cuman-Basket-Toss-Diddling of a lifetime....nah, not on my adolescent watch, fleeing in a tear-laden panic. (in truth, they apparently didn't want me to stick around for Goat Trick, thought i'd muck shit up).How does an unarmored/unarmed teen man/child save a damsel in distress? well let me tell you!ZEAL....yup you got that right. Apparently, the brisk walking speed of my completely gassed out Henry was so swift, and with such guile, that the Cumans immediately ceased their sexual-assault and gave chase.wont bore you with the chase, i made it, wow so crazy right...its really harder the first time on normal, when you have no idea that you have to press B to cause a steed to traverse space and time.....or that if you even go SO MUCH AS AN INCH OFF OF THE PATH like "OH i MIGHT know a SHORTER way through the trees that might lose these assclowns.....let me just take one step"..DEADDIEDEADHEADFSHOTBOOM50.AWPBANNEDSNIPERHEADSHOT like come on man, i was literally just picking flowers for pieces of pennies....fuck off with that....After i did my 1,2 in Talmberg (loot 1st,2nd,3rd floor of guardhouse after Robard tells you to keep watch for the night) and then hop off drawbridge, walking in B line towards woodline to encounter a guard who will let me run past if i give him 10cents. I am teleported to Rovna b/c no horse (always liked that way better). The shield and pops sword make for poking fun at the 3 idiots along the way to your house to bury youknowwhos. But who wants to do everything all safe and like last time, TIS BUT A SCATCH RIGHT?!so i went over to that small warehouse looking area connected to the other side of Skallitz, and after waiting a minute or two, one ironclad clownfuck came stumbling out, walking aimlessly up the path like "fuck all this battle that happened not even hours ago, im so over this like, bout to snatch up some posh flowers in this Tempest, yeah im the man, bathhouse bitches be wildin out when i tell them, for sure bro" so i silently (and by that i mean CLANGING UP BEHIND HIM) crouched up on his ass and put him in a sleeper - because you know, Henry knows Jitzu...it was invented by Jesus and we all know how much everyone loves him during the Game's time period....jeez Louise! -- and actually made out with some brilliant armor and a master hunting sword. i dared not continue, looted Bianca to save - best ex ever - and continued on. I tried to kill zman again - like the previous 100- because hes all ima hurt this dog....ass fuck...and couldn't. surprisingly though, i got like 15 stabs in on Runt before he gave me the ladle-toss.Just woke up in Rattay, it was a nice feeling to shut the Miller up and immediately pay him like "dude fuck you heres the money go buy a REAL HAT you fucking muppit" and im debating if i should just go Theresa's DLC to get my dog before getting any further into this.will update tomorrow [link] [comments]
Fast travel, villages & map size - KC:D 2 Posted: 02 Oct 2020 05:42 AM PDT What I love most about KC:D is the size of villages and towns. Having recently played The Witcher, Risen, Elex and Skyrim i can not apreciate this enough. The smallest village in this game feels bigger than the cities of Skyrim while the towns feel more alive and open than any game i can think of. The surroundings are also gorgeous. However after a while i find them rather boring. Especially in late game or during fetch quests. The terrain is very hard to navigate - especially in some places. Going from Ledetchko to Talmberg (Talmberg itself is a nightmare) is a chore. And i wish fast travel would have been approached differently. First of all i do not think hardcore mode should disable fast travel and calling that more realistic or difficult. Realistically no person would have spent their days horse riding in full plate to deliver mesages and i found myself killed much more often as a result of a fast travel encounter than by riding at full speed through a group of bandits or just avoiding the spawning location by traveling through the middle forest. In hardcore i even forgot characters like the begger, riddler, dueling knights as i just cut through fields rather than holding the road. This is not GTA, the horse does not have a radio and it is hardly fun to ride especially on narrow paths and rugged terrain. I also think the distance between towns should be much bigger. I should not be able to just walk to Sasau from Rattay and back by afternoon. I once failed a quest by "fast traveling" from Sasau to Talmberg just to realize that going myself took 1/5th of the time. So much for fast. A bigger map would allow for orchards, wineries and grain fields to be more realistically represented. And a camp of cumans or bandits should really be deeper in the forest or in more secluded locations. I've been in city parks bigger than the forest between Talmberg and Uzhitz. Also. Fast travel should have a bigger chance of you getting lost, especially if traveling by night, or have other events based on your skills and be possible only after getting a horse. The way i see it is: you should have many paths and roads, you should have the option of asking travelers of villagers which paths to take. By fqst travel you should be allowed to choose a path. Bandit or cumans should only ambush you in deep forests. They should try to rob you, maybe beat you up but not kill you. And the attacks should depend on your gear, a knight or even a guy on a horse should be a more attractive target than ol' MacDirtface collecting mushrooms. You should not be ambushed by heavy armored bandits as a lousy peasant boy walking between the mills near Rattay, nor be attacked by stick wielding old men in overalls when you ride in full armor. All in all i should not want to console-teleport because i can not stand traveling between Pribyslawitz and wherever every time i gather some coin to upgrade something. I should be able to automate the boring parts if there is no way of making them interesting. [link] [comments]
What happens if you kill almost all NPCs on the map? Is it possible? Posted: 02 Oct 2020 01:51 AM PDT So I was wondering if it is possible to kill almost all the people on the map. Would the towns be empty? And is it possible to kill the NPCs such as Sir Radzig and Capon indirectly, for example through poison? I have a theory that some do respawn, but that the ones with names do not. [link] [comments]

Is a high rep play-through much different from a baddie one? Posted: 01 Oct 2020 09:13 PM PDT A playthrough of the game where Henry doesn't get mixed up with anything fishy, never goes to jail and just maximising the rep all around. Does it unlock any sort of other possibilities in the game or is it not much different? [link] [comments]
Posted: 01 Oct 2020 04:43 PM PDT If i get Swordsmith Fink to go to Pribyslavitz would it end his quest for the queen sheba sword pieces? [link] [comments]
Posted: 01 Oct 2020 12:26 PM PDT After about a year I have loaded my save about half way through the game. Are any of the quest/missions time dependent?, as in do I have to start them relatively quickly or they'll disappear, or can I spend nights looting houses in Rattay? [link] [comments]
Posted: 01 Oct 2020 01:49 PM PDT On my second playthrough of the game, 100 hours first time & 50 so far this run. After finishing Nest of Vipers I decided to train up a good bit before fighting Runt, as he whipped my ass so badly my first playthrough. Did some combat with Bernard, and the Bandit/Cuman camp activities from Bernard and Robard. Started Baptism by Fire at Level 12 (I think), 13 Strength, 9 Mace/Sword, and 14 Defense. Was very excited to have a good fight with Runt. He does his first slash attack, I master strike in response and 1 hit killed him. A little disappointing but sooooo satisfying. [link] [comments]
(POSSIBLE SPOILERS) Am I still able to do the executioners quest line after fighting him? Posted: 01 Oct 2020 12:04 PM PDT So I'm doing a new playthrough and was working on the miller quest line with peshek, only the executioner caught me trying to steal the ring from his house so we had a good ole brawl and I let him go disarmed so now I have a pretty nice long sword but was wondering if I screwed myself for his quests later on? I am having huge framedrops playing with a rtx2080ti and I9 9900k Posted: 01 Oct 2020 03:40 PM PDT How is this possible? I get framedrops to 15 or 20fps. Is there any setting that affects the performance a lot? [link] [comments]
